Half of the playoff field is now set for the 2023 NFL season. On Thursday night, the Cleveland Browns clinched a postseason berth with a 37-20 win over the New York Jets, becoming the seventh team to join the field for the upcoming playoffs.

More clinching could take place in Week 17, the penultimate week of the regular season. Most of the week's action will occur Sunday, with 14 games on the day's slate.

With so many games scheduled for Sunday, there are a lot of bets to consider. Here's a breakdown of a three-leg parlay that could be lucrative for bettors. All odds/lines are courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

49ers (-12.5) over Commanders (-110)

Talk about a perfect bounce-back matchup for the 49ers, who are coming off a disappointing showing in their Week 16 loss to the Ravens. In Week 17, San Francisco gets to go on the road to face struggling Washington in a game the Niners should win with ease.

It's not always easy for a betting favorite to cover a spread as large as 12.5 points. But the 49ers are the far superior team in this contest. They should have no trouble blowing past the Commanders and cruising to a sizable victory.

Washington is making a quarterback change, turning from Sam Howell to veteran Jacoby Brissett. That shouldn't matter, though, as San Francisco's defense (which now features former Commanders edge rusher Chase Young) will be in control throughout the game.

Even though the Niners lost to the Ravens, they're still the best team in the NFC. And they'll get back on track while looking to lock up the conference's top seed for the playoffs.

Buccaneers (-2.5) over Saints (-110)

The sportsbooks continue to underestimate the Buccaneers of late. So, it's a great opportunity for bettors to capitalize by wagering on one of the hottest teams in the NFL.

Tampa Bay (8-7) has won four straight games to take control of the NFC South race, and it's coming off an impressive 30-12 victory over Jacksonville. The Bucs have scored more than 20 points in each of those wins, including 30 or more in each of the past two.

On Sunday, the Buccaneers can clinch the NFC South title with a home win over the Saints. It'll be the second time these two division rivals have met this season, as Tampa Bay previously notched a 26-9 victory at New Orleans in Week 4.

The Bucs are a better team now than they were then. They should beat the Saints by at least three points and punch their ticket to the postseason in the process.

Under 41 Points in Steelers-Seahawks (-110)

The Steelers switched quarterbacks in Week 16, turning to veteran Mason Rudolph, and then had a 34-point outburst in their home win over the AFC North rival Bengals. However, Rudolph and his squad have a much tougher task in Week 17.

This week, the Steelers are going on the road to face the Seahawks in a hostile environment. It's a high-stakes matchup, too, as both teams are in the thick of the playoff picture in their respective conferences.

It would be a bit of a surprise if this contest turned into a high-scoring shootout. Pittsburgh is unlikely to have that much offensive success in back-to-back weeks, while Seattle hasn't scored more than 20 points in any of its past three games (and has done so only once in its past six games).

Although this could be a competitive game, don't expect there to be more than 40 total points. Take the under for this Super Bowl XL rematch.

3-Leg Parlay (+595)

By combining these three bets, the odds for the parlay become +595 (bet $10 to win $59.50).

The 49ers and Buccaneers are mostly reliable teams that should win in favorable matchups this week, each easily clearing the spread. So as long as the Steelers-Seahawks game is a defensive struggle, this parlay should be profitable.
