The Arizona Cardinals will be one of the busiest teams during the 2024 NFL draft.

Most of the attention on the Cardinals will come at the No. 4 pick, where most experts believe they will select Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

The draft process only begins at No. 4 for the rebuilding NFC West franchise. It has one more first-round pick and three total selections within the top 35.

Arizona should use the draft as an opportunity to remake its porous defense from a year ago. That process will begin with the No. 27 selection and could continue at No. 35.

The Cardinals are not guaranteed to get better just off draft picks alone, but they will set themselves up in a great position to at least attempt to improve in Jonathan Gannon's second season as head coach.

Marvin Harrison Jr.

The majority of NFL mock drafts have the Cardinals landing Harrison at No. 4.

Bleacher Report's NFL scouting department listed Harrison as its No. 1 prospect ahead of all the quarterback expected to be chosen ahead of him.

Arizona should be the primary beneficiary of the quarterback run in the top three picks because the Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders and New England Patriots are all expected to take signal-callers.

Harrison would automatically be one of the best wide receivers the Cardinals have had in the last 20 years and arguably the best pass-catcher Kyler Murray has worked with in his NFL career.

The Murray-Harrison connection should put up eye-popping numbers from the start and help resurrect an Arizona offense that experienced a ton of trouble in 2023.

The only way Harrison does not land in Arizona is if the Patriots opt to avoid the quarterback spot at No. 3, but that seems unlikely right now given their need for a star under center.

Rome Odunze

Rome Odunze is the Cardinals' backup plan at No. 4.

The Washington wide receiver is widely regarded as the No. 2 player at his position in the draft class.

B/R's NFL scouting department listed Odunze as the No. 6 overall prospect behind Harrison, Brock Bowers, Drake Maye, Caleb Williams and Joe Alt.

Odunze burst into the spotlight during Washington's run to the College Football Playoff National Championship.

He earned 1,640 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns in his breakout campaign, but that was not the first time he found success at the collegiate level.

Odunze also produced a 1,145-yard season in 2022 when Washington was out of the national conversation.

Odunze's production over the last two years should excite whichever team lands him, even if he would be viewed as the No. 2 guy for the Cardinals after Harrison.

Nate Wiggins

The Cardinals also own the 27th overall pick in the first round.

Defensive back should be the focus of that selection to help fix a unit that turned in a handful of ghastly performances in 2023.

Nate Wiggins is the cornerback who should be Arizona's focus at No. 27.

B/R's NFL scouting department predicted the Clemson corner would go 29th to the Detroit Lions, but plenty of other experts believe he will go to Arizona.

ESPN.com's Josh Weinfuss made Wiggins the pick in the mock draft conducted by the site's NFL beat writers.

ESPN.com's Jordan Reid mocked Wiggins to the Cardinals, but at No. 23 in a trade with the Minnesota Vikings.

Wiggins should be available at No. 27 and he could spark a run of defensive picks for the Cardinals, who pick again at No. 35 and three times in the third round.
