Wimbledon 2024 Results: Instant Reactions to Monday's Winners and Losers
On Monday, Novak Djokovic defeated Holger Rune in three sets to reach the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the seventh straight year.
The seven-time Wimbledon champion will face Alex de Minaur, who won earlier today, in the semifinals.
In the two other fourth-round matches on the men's side, Taylor Fritz earned a stunning victory after trailing Alexander Zverev two sets to love, while No. 25 seed Lorenzo Musetti ended Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard's Cinderella run.
In the women's draw, Elena Rybakina rallied from an early service break and won eight straight games before her opponent, Anna Kalinskaya, retired.
Rybakina, the No. 4 seed, is the only remaining top-six seed and has made it to the quarterfinal round of Wimbledon for the third straight year.
The former 2022 Wimbledon champion is the favorite to win, though Emma Navarro and Jelena Ostapenko are not too far behind.

Top Half of Draw Is a Race Between Elena Rybakina and Jelena Ostapenko
