Iga Swiatek is human, after all.

Qinwen Zheng stunned the top seed in straight sets, ending her 25-match win streak at Roland Garros and reaching the Olympic final, where she will face top-seeded Croatian Donna Vekic.

Zheng, who trailed 0-4 in the second set, is the first Chinese man or woman to reach the Olympic final in tennis.

The 21-year-old did it in a rare yet dominant style, becoming the first player since 2021 (Maria Sakkari) to defeat Swiatek in straight sets on clay.

The four-time French Open champion will still have the opportunity to win the bronze medal, though this will sting for some time, considering she was the overwhelming favorite to hoist gold.

Here's what the schedule looks like with Zheng earning her spot in the final round.

Qinwen Zheng would not back down.

The 21-year-old ended Iga Swiatek's impressive 25-match win streak at Roland Garros.

Zheng, who raced off to a 6-2 first set, found herself down 0-4 in the second set but rallied to win seven of the last eight games.

The sixth-seed was able to keep up in rallies, playing far more consistently than Swiatek, who committed 23 more unforced errors.

Zheng will face Donna Vekic in the final, and considering what she has just accomplished, she will likely enter as the favorite to win.
