Olympic 2024 Medal Count: Final Tally, Winners from Day 10 Early Events

Simone Biles won her fourth medal of the 2024 Summer Olympics on Monday morning.

The 11-time Olympic medalist took silver in the women's floor exercise, one place ahead of American Jordan Chiles.

Biles and Chiles finished the Paris Games on a high note for the American gymnastics team. The last two medals earned on Monday gave Team USA an even 10 medals in the gymnastics events.

Team USA's excellence across the three major sports: athletics, swimming and gymnastics helped it pull away from every country in the medal table.

In total, the Americans earned multiple medals in 10 sports, including shooting, where they earned another silver medal on Monday.

Team USA is far in front in the overall medal table, but as of Monday afternoon, China held the lead in gold medals by two.

Simone Biles added a silver in the women's floor exercise to her Olympics resume on Monday.

Biles produced a score of 14.133 to take second behind Brazil's Rebeca Andrade.

Biles' second-place finish gave Team USA its only silver medal in gymnastics in Paris. Biles played a role in the three gymnastics golds with wins in the all-around, vault and team competition.

Her American teammate Jordan Chiles had an excruciating wait for her bronze medal.

Chiles initially scored out of the top three, but a judges' inquiry corrected her score and put her in third place ahead of Romania's Ana Barbosu.

The bronze was Chiles' first individual medal as an Olympian. She earned gold in Paris and silver in Tokyo in the team competition.

Team USA finished with 10 gymnastics medals in Paris, which is a four-medal increase from the Tokyo Games.

Team USA took home silver medals in two team competitions on Monday morning.

Vincent Hancock and Austen Jewell Smith placed second behind Italy in the mixed team skeet shooting event.

Hancock, who won gold in the men's skeet shooting event, hit all but one of his 25 targets in the event.

Italy hit 45 of its 50 total targets, while Team USA connected on 44 of its 50 targets.

The other mixed team medal came from triathlon, where the Americans narrowly edged out Great Britain for silver.

Taylor Knibb edged out Beth Potter in a photo finish to put Team USA in the silver-medal position behind Germany.

Team USA heads into the afternoon session of medal events with 75 total medals, which is 23 more than China in second place.
