Final Picks for MJF vs. Ospreay, Strickland vs. Danielson and AEW All in 2024 Card

Will Ospreay and MJF will fight for the second time in Wembley Stadium. Who will emerge victorious?
Will Ospreay and MJF will fight for the second time in Wembley Stadium. Who will emerge victorious?

All Elite Wrestling is set to present its biggest show of 2024 and perhaps the most important show the company has ever presented, AEW All In: London.

With an expected 50,000+ fans in attendance at Wembley Stadium in London, England, AEW has put together an incredible card including true dream matches.

Bryan Danielson puts his career on the line against Swerve Strickland with the hope of capturing the AEW World Championship.

In a match nearly a year in the making, Toni Storm puts her Women's World Championship on the line against Mariah May.

Will Ospreay and MJF will likely steal the show in a battle for the legacy of the International Championship, currently renamed the American Championship.

Mercedes Moné steps into Wembley Stadium for her biggest match in years, fighting a motivated Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

These matches and more make up a special show for a special night that no wrestling fan will want to miss. The following are the final predictions for All In: London.

Buy-in: Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway vs. Willow Nightingale & Tomohiro Ishii

The feud between Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander has stayed intense since Kris' shocking heel turn at Double or Nothing.

While the most important match will happen at All Out in two weeks, All In will highlight the rivalry with an unusual mixed tag team match.

While Willow and Kris are evenly matched, Tomohiro Ishii vs. Stokely Hathaway is a wild mismatch. Any time they are in the ring together, it will be more comedy act than wrestling match.

It should be a fun warm-up bout for All In. While Stokely could find a way to sneak away with a win, this would be a good chance to give NJPW's Ishii a nice win on a major stage.

Prediction: Willow and Ishii win to allow Willow to choose an extreme stipulation for All Out.

FTW Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Hook

Few stars have struggled more to engage the audience in 2024 than Chris Jericho. While he has done solid work in selling his new Learning Tree gimmick, fans simply are tired of seeing Jericho in the ring.

His last match with Hook was a disaster, so The Learning Tree needs to find a way to vary up his performance against The Handsome Devil for round two.

This may not be the most exciting match on paper, but it could be a fun feel-good moment at Wembley, seeing Hook recapture the championship his father Taz invented.

The best option may be a complete squash, allowing Hook to assert his dominance and further write his legacy as one of wrestling's most interesting young stars at 25 years old.

Prediction: Hook recaptures the FTW Championship.

Trios Championship: Patriarchy (c) vs. House of Black vs. Bang Bang Gang vs. Wildcard

The trios division is in an awkward place for AEW. While serious talent is involved in the scene, the championship story does not come off as truly pay-per-view worthy.

Christian Cage is always a spectacular performer to witness whether he is on the mic or in the ring. However, he has fully stated that the Trios Championships are only a stepping stone for him.

His actions have set the House of Black and Bang Bang Gang chasing him, but at a time where the top singles picture is seriously personal, the trios division does not have that same height.

Despite all of this, 12 talented men will be competing in a London Ladder match that is certain to deliver major highlights for the weekend.

The final trio is not set yet. A Wild Card team will be determined on Collision: Pac, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta vs. Top Flight and Lio Rush. Both teams will bring excitement to the action.

Still, at the end of the day, The Patriarchy just captured the Trios Championships and are not likely to let them go easily.

Prediction: The Patriarchy survives multiple challengers to continue building their reign of terror in the trios division.

Tag Championships: Young Bucks (c) vs. FTR vs. The Acclaimed

AEW's top three teams will battle for the Tag Team Championships in a match that should be highly anticipated. However, due to a slow build and the struggles of The Acclaimed to stay popular, this match has struggled to land with fans.

Given the chemistry between the teams, the in-ring action will be great. It will be important though for AEW to find a fresh angle coming out of this angle for the tag team division.

Teams like Private Party, Top Flight, Blackpool Combat Club, MxM, Shane Taylor Promotions and more are waiting in the wings for an opportunity.

This will be only the second title defense for Matt and Nick Jackson, who should keep the titles to face fresh opponents in the coming months.

This could allow FTR and The Acclaimed to break off into a separate feud away from the titles, though a better option may be for Max Caster to turn on Anthony Bowens after the loss.

Caster and Billy Gunn have struggled to keep fan attention while Bowens is ready for a solo run. An Acclaimed break-up can freshen up the scene for all involved.

Prediction: Young Bucks retain as FTR and The Acclaimed get in each other's way.

Casino Gauntlet for Future Opportunity at AEW World Championship

The Casino Gauntlet match is one of the most exciting matches of the night for All In. No one knows who will step into the match, setting the stage for some of the biggest surprises of the night.

While not every name is guaranteed, fans have speculated on the arrivals of stars like Ricochet, Bobby Lashley and MVP as well as potential returns from Adam Cole, Jay White and Jon Moxley.

All of these are fun options to speculate on, but the match is ultimately for a future AEW World Championship opportunity. The winner should be someone who has been with the company for years.

If Mox does return, he would be the favorite to pick up the win. However, the right answer may just be the only man to confirmed to compete in the match: Orange Cassidy.

Orange is one of AEW's top acts yet has never competed one-on-one for the AEW World Championship. He could be a great challenger for Bryan Danielson or Swerve Strickland at All Out, a year after main eventing that event.

Prediction: Orange manages to escape with the win against an all-star group of talent including surprise arrivals.

Coffin Match - TNT Championship: Jack Perry (c) vs. Darby Allin

The Four Pillars of AEW continue to define the company, and two will go to war in a Coffin Match at All In.

Darby Allin and Jack Perry have made their hatred for one another crystal clear in the last few months, elevating a rivalry that has been ongoing at least backstage since the company started..

No match is more synonymous with Allin than the Coffin Match. Five times, he had competed in the stipulation, and he has never lost. His last was in Wembley at All In last year, defeating current champions Swerve Strickland and Christian Cage alongside Sting.

However, Perry's TNT Championship reign still feels fresh. He even recently unveiled a new-look championship that he created himself.

This will likely be the first Coffin Match that Allin loses, but he will push Perry to a career-defining effort.

Allin will move onto preparing for an AEW World Championship opportunity at Grand Slam while Perry can continue to redefine his legacy as The Scapegoat.

Prediction: Perry becomes the first man to defeat Allin in a Coffin match.

TBS Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

Mercedes Moné is the biggest signing for AEW of 2024, which is saying something given the level of talent the company has brought in from Kazuchika Okada to Deonna Purrazzo.

She has delivered in every match so far in the company, especially on pay-per-view, and her match with Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. will be no different.

This is a battle between two of the top women in wrestling. Both will compete like this is the most important match of their careers.

In the end, The CEO will and must retain. She has not held the TBS Championship long enough to lose it yet.

Hopefully, on this important night, AEW can also use the moment to highlight future challengers for The CEO that could step up to her after the finish.

Prediction: Moné relies on Kamille to survive her toughest challenge as champion to date.

American/International Championship: MJF (c) vs. Will Ospreay

Maxwell Jacob Friedman may call himself the American champion, but the championship he holds has a legacy built under the name International Championship.

He took that championship away from Will Ospreay in a battle that raged for nearly an hour. The rematch will need to be more compact on a stacked All In card.

Nothing is certain for this rematch, but AEW would do this 50,000+ crowd a service by allowing them to see one of the greatest British wrestlers of all time win gold in Wembley Stadium.

The Salt of the Earth has done a solid job as champion since taking the gold off The Aerial Assassin, but it still feels like it should be Ospreay's championship.

MJF can keep carrying the American Championship as Ospreay will not want it. His focus will be defending the International Championship with honor.

If Daniel Garcia does re-sign with AEW, a post-match return to beat down MJF would add a nice exclamation mark to proceedings.

Prediction: Ospreay wins big in Wembley, recapturing the International Championship (and throwing out the American Championship).

Women's World Championship: "Timeless" Toni Storm (c) vs. "The Glamour" Mariah May

The best story in AEW comes to a head at All In where "Timeless" Toni Storm must face her most dangerous opponent, "The Glamour" Mariah May.

The British wrestler will get the biggest shot on her career at Wembley, and there is absolutely no reason that she should not dethrone Storm.

The Timeless One has delivered perhaps the greatest AEW Women's Championship reign in the company's history.

A great final match with a memorable title loss will only solidify the legacy of her reign. Storm will be passing the torch to AEW's next great woman.

May has been an incredible performer in and out of the ring over the past year since joining the company. It is time to put it all on The Glamour.

Prediction: May's plan comes to fruition as she ends the memorable reign of Storm.

World Championship vs. Career: Swerve Strickland (c) vs. Bryan Danielson

How much does Bryan Danielson want to be AEW world champion? The question has been asked time and again. Everyone wants The American Dragon to get a world title reign, except perhaps the man himself.

Time and again, Danielson has been close to the prize but fallen short. He seemed to accept every opportunity to lose to the younger stars.

This is admirable in a business where so many veterans will politic their way to success, but at some point, the better story would be for The American Dragon to get his time in the sun.

This is the last chance, and all signs point to a victory once more. However, The American Dragon must want it, more than a retirement spot on AEW's biggest stage.

This is all talking around Swerve Strickland, who is a made man after a fantastic run with the AEW World Championship. Whether he wins or loses, The Mogul stays hot.

Even if he loses to Danielson, he is the most likely man to take the title from The American Dragon, likely putting an end to the legendary career of Danielson on a different stage.

This will be a fantastic match and deeply emotional no matter who emerges victorious. The best option though remains an American Dragon victory.

Prediction: Danielson saves his career and finally captures the AEW World Championship.
