B/R's Week 10 PPR Fantasy Football Player Rankings
B/R's Week 10 PPR Fantasy Football Player Rankings

Hard though it may be to believe, it's already Week 10 of the 2024 fantasy football season. We're in the second half. The stretch run is just around the corner.
And the pressure is ratcheting up.
Of course, fantasy managers who have rostered Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry or Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown are all likely doing well.
Just stay the course, and it's a comfortable cruise into the fantasy playoffs.
However, plenty of other managers are either struggling to keep their team above .500 or clinging to the slimmest of playoff hopes. It's simple—the next loss they suffer could very well be the one that puts the kibosh on the fantasy postseason.
Whether you're riding high or in full-fledged scramble mode, every fantasy manager wants the same thing in Week 10—a win.
That's where these rankings come in—position-by-position PPR rankings, matchups to exploit and avoid, and a look at the top 100 overall players for Week 10.
Quarterbacks

Joe Cool was definitely on his "A" game in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Despite playing without No. 2 wide receiver Tee Higgins, Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals carved up the Raiders last week with 251 passing yards and five touchdowns. It marked the second time in the past five weeks that Burrow threw five touchdown passes—and he wasn't especially happy about it.
"How this season has gone, knowing what's ahead of us, knowing what we're going to have to do to get back into this, one win isn't going to make or break our season," Burrow told reporters. "I'm going to strive for perfection every day and every game. So, until that happens, what's there to be happy about?"
Thursday night, the Bengals will try to get back to .500 against the rival Baltimore Ravens. Back in Week 5, Burrow and the Bengals lost to Baltimore in overtime. In that game, Burrow threw for 392 yards and five touchdowns.
GOOD MATCHUPS
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (at IND) [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,700]
Over the past month, Allen has been solid for fantasy managers, but not necessarily elite. An elite performance is a real possibility this week against a Colts defense that just allowed three touchdown passes in a half to Sam Darnold of the Minnesota Vikings.
Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers (at TB) (DraftKings DFS Value: $6,500]
There's a chance that the San Francisco 49ers will have Christian McCaffrey back for this game. But there's an even better chance that Jauan Jennings will be back in time to face a Buccaneers team that has struggled defending the pass this season.
BAD MATCHUPS
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs (vs. DEN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,600]:
The Chiefs are winning games, but they have been doing it without big numbers from Mahomes, who has spent much of the season in the bottom half of QB2 territory. The Broncos just got roasted by the Baltimore Ravens, but they still rank sixth in the NFL in pass defense at 186.6 yards per game.
Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals (vs. NYJ) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,300]
Murray was quiet in Arizona's Week 9 beatdown of the Chicago Bears, passing for just 154 yards without a touchdown. Now the Cardinals welcome in a New York Jets defense that has allowed the second-fewest passing yards per game in the NFL this season.
SLEEPER
Daniel Jones, New York Giants (at CAR) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,300]
Jones threw for just 174 yards last week, but he did throw a pair of touchdown passes against the Washington Commanders (at home, no less). This week in Germany, the Giants take on a Carolina Panthers defense that has struggled this season—to put it mildly.

Running Backs

We're nine weeks into the 2024 fantasy football season—past the halfway point in most leagues. And despite being the first overall pick in the majority of fantasy football drafts, we have yet to see San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey take one regular-season snap.
That could be changing this week.
After spending the entire season in injured reserve, McCaffrey's 21-day practice window has been opened. And while 49ers general manager John Lynch wouldn't go so far as to say that McCaffrey will play this week, he offered more encouraging news about the reigning Offensive Player of the Year than we have heard in a long time.
"That's the hope," Lynch told reporters. "As we've done throughout this whole [process], you listen to the experts, you listen to the athlete, to Christian, more than anything because the athlete, the person, knows their body better than anyone. They can feel what they're feeling. But I can tell people this, that the rehab has been very positive. We had a really good plan to knock this out, so he can go forward and have this behind him. Christian's work ethic is beyond anything I've ever seen, it's like the Fred Warners, it's legendary. He's attacked it like that. I'm real proud of our medical staff, the way they've done it."
Having McCaffrey back for the stretch run could swing quite a few fantasy leagues.
GOOD MATCHUPS
Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts (vs. BUF) [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,500]
Taylor (and the Colts offense as a whole) was held in check in Week 9 by the Minnesota Vikings. But the Bills are allowing over 120 yards per game on the ground, and no team in the AFC has allowed more PPR points per game to running backs this year than the Bills.
Tyrone Tracy, Jr., New York Giants (at CAR) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]
Tracy has become the lead back for the Giants—he had over twice as many carries last week as Devin Singletary last week against the Washington Commanders. Now he gets the worst run defense in the NFL...and maybe a pair of lederhosen.
BAD MATCHUPS
Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals (at BAL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]
Brown exploded last week against the Las Vegas Raiders, piling up 157 total yards and a touchdown. But there's a big difference between the Raiders and a top-ranked Ravens run defense that has allowed less than 76 rushing yards per game this season.
Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans (at LAC) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,900]
Pollard didn't practice at all last week then proceeded to gash the New England Patriots for 154 total yards on 31 touches. The sledding is going to be a lot tougher this week against the Los Angeles Chargers, who have given up fewer PPR points per game to running backs than all but one NFL team this year.
SLEEPER
Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers (at WAS) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,300]
There isn't a ton of "sleeper" appeal among this week's running back rankings. But if the Washington Commanders force the Steelers into a high-scoring game, Warren could see extra snaps and potentially pile up catches out of the backfield.
WEEK 10 RUNNING BACK RANKINGS
1. Saquon Barkley, PHI (at DAL)
2. Derrick Henry, BAL (vs. CIN)
3. Breece Hall, NYJ (at ARI)

48. Samaje Perine, KC (vs. DEN)
49. Ezekiel Elliott, DAL (vs. PHI)
50. Emari Demercado, ARI (vs. NYJ)
Wide Receivers

From the moment that Davante Adams was traded to the New York Jets, fantasy managers wondered how he and Garrett Wilson would co-exist. What would the target share look like? Would Adams, given his longstanding relationship with Aaron Rodgers, immediately knock Wilson down the rankings at wide receiver?
Given what we saw in the second half of last week's win over the Houston Texans, the pair might get along just fine.
After a miserable first half offensively, both Wilson (10 targets, nine receptions, 90 yards, two touchdowns) and Adams (11 targets, seven receptions, 91 yards, one touchdown) had big nights. One of Wilson's touchdowns may have been the catch of the year.

— NFL (@NFL) November 1, 2024
Rodgers admitted to reporters that even he was blown away by Wilson's grab.
"I just kind of lobbed one up there and he made an unbelievable catch," Rodgers told reporters. "That was a huge play. That's a game-changing play."
The eventual return of Allen Lazard to the lineup could cloud the picture a bit down the road. But for now, Adams and Wilson are both easy must-starts.
GOOD MATCHUPS
Jordan Addison, Minnesota Vikings (at JAX) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,300]
Addison had one of his best efforts of the season last week against the Colts, catching all five of his targets for 42 yards and a touchdown. With Justin Jefferson commanding so much attention from opposing defenses, Addison is going to see a lot of single coverage moving forward.
Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars (vs. MIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,600]
Thomas played through a chest injury last week, catching just two passes for 22 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles. Look for the rookie to rebound Sunday against the Vikings, as no team has allowed more PPR points per game to wide receivers this year than Minnesota.
BAD MATCHUPS
Marvin Harrison Jr., Arizona Cardinals (at NYJ) [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,400]
Harrison hasn't been the fantasy force that some predicted, with less than six PPR points in three of his last four games. It's not going to be any easier to find success this week against cornerback Sauce Gardner and a Jets pass defense that has allowed less than 160 passing yards per game.
Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers (vs. TEN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,900]
The passing game in Los Angeles has started heating up, and McConkey has been a big beneficiary of that. But this week's matchup with the Tennessee Titans isn't an easy one. The Titans may be a bad team, but they are quietly one of the stingiest defenses in the league this year.
SLEEPER
Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers (at TB) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,100]
Like McCaffrey, Jennings is back on the practice field after missing time with a back injury. With Brandon Aiyuk done for the year, Jennings is the No. 2 wideout for the 49ers, and we have seen the fourth-year veteran post some big numbers in that role this season.
WEEK 10 WIDE RECEIVER RANKINGS
1. Justin Jefferson, MIN (at JAX)
2. Ja'Marr Chase, CIN (at BAL)
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET (at HOU)

Tight Ends

It's been a funky year at the tight end position, but there was some good news in Week 9—the return of a big name at the position.
After tearing ACL late in the 2023 season, T.J. Hockenson had yet to play this season. But the 27-year-old was on the field Sunday night against the Indianapolis Colts.
Hockenson didn't play a majority of Minnesota's of snaps—just 45 percent. His numbers were modest at three catches on four targets for 27 yards. The lone target he didn't catch was in the end zone, however, and he told reporters he has champing at the bit to get back out on the field for some time.
"I (felt) at seven (months) that I was ready to go out there and start practicing. But that's another thing that the (medical staff) here has done an incredible job, just being like, 'Hey, you can't yet, you can't yet, it's not smart.' They do everything in the best interest of you as a person and not necessarily what you want to do or what you are asking to do. They do what's best for you from science, from a standpoint of being better in years to come rather than in the past. And so, it has just been incredible."
Hockenson will likely be eased into the Vikings offense. But if he's 100 percent for the stretch run, it could be a major boost for fantasy managers at a position where steady production has been hard to come by this season.
GOOD MATCHUPS
Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills (at IND) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,900]
Kincaid hasn't been as productive as fantasy managers expected this season, but Week 10 sets up well for the second-year pro. The Colts have been a highly favorable fantasy matchup for tight ends, allowing the second-most PPR points per game to tight ends this year.
Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons (at NO) [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,800]
Pitts' recent hot streak came to a crashing halt last week—he had just a single target and catch for 11 yards. In the first meeting with the Saints, he was shut out on the scoreboard. But it's a favorable matchup, and Pitts is capable of a big stat line in any given week.
BAD MATCHUPS
Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys (vs. PHI) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,000]
Ferguson has been a productive fantasy option this season, but in addition to drawing a bottom-five fantasy matchup for his position with the rival Eagles, Dak Prescott is expected to miss multiple weeks with a hamstring injury.
Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs. SF) [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,500]
With the Buccaneers ravaged by injuries at wide receiver, Otton has become the team's de facto top pass-catcher. But teams are focusing more attention on Otton now, and the 49ers have one of the best coverage linebackers in the NFL in Fred Warner.
SLEEPER
Juwan Johnson, TE, New Orleans Saints (vs. ATL) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,300]
Johnson hasn't been a huge part of the New Orleans offense this season, but he could be in Week 10 out of sheer necessity. The Saints have been hit hard by injuries at wide receiver, including a concussion last week that landed star Chris Olave in the hospital.
WEEK 10 TIGHT END RANKINGS
1. Travis Kelce, KC (vs. DEN)
2. George Kittle, SF (at TB)
3. Evan Engram, JAX (vs. MIN)
4. Trey McBride, ARI (vs. NYJ)
5. Kyle Pitts, ATL (at NO)

30. Theo Johnson, NYG (at CAR)
Kickers and Team Defenses

The Los Angeles Chargers are one of the more surprising success stories in the NFL this season. And while the Los Angeles offense has picked it up of late, the Chargers defense deserves much of the credit for what the Bolts have accomplished nine weeks into the season.
After nine weeks, the Chargers are the stingiest team in the league where allowing points is concerned, surrendering just 12.6 a contest after beating Cleveland 27-10. While speaking to reporters, Chargers safety Derwin James credited both the players around him and first-year defensive coordinator Jesse Minter for the team's stout defensive play.
"Jesse Minter is one (reason), allowing everyone to play fast, allowing everybody to play free, getting everyone to play to their strengths," James said. Then, we're deep. We have a deep team. We've got a deep roster."
The Chargers are a top-five fantasy defense as well, and with the lowly Tennessee Titans up next, Los Angeles is one of this week's top fantasy plays.
GOOD MATCHUPS
Younghoe Koo, Atlanta Falcons (at NO)
Koo ranks eighth among kickers in fantasy points, but he has been in something of a fantasy funk of late. But a top-five fantasy matchup with a reeling Saints team that just canned its head coach could be just what the doctor ordered.
Atlanta Falcons Defense (at NO) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,400]
The Falcons aren't an especially good fantasy defense—teams that can't sack the opposing quarterback can't rack up fantasy points. But the Saints are an injury-ravaged mess on offense surrendering the eighth-most fantasy points per game to defenses in 2024.
BAD MATCHUPS
Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers (at WAS)
Boswell has been rock-solid for fantasy managers this season—he leads all AFC kickers in fantasy points despite having just had his bye week. But this week's matchup is poor, as the Commanders have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to kickers this year.
Pittsburgh Steelers Defense (at WAS) [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,000]
As they often are, the Steelers have been a productive fantasy defense this season—one of six teams averaging double-digit fantasy points per game. But the Commanders aren't any kinder to defenses than they are to kickers, ranking 30th in fantasy points given up to defenses this season.
SLEEPER
Jacksonville Jaguars Defense (vs. MIN) [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,500]
The Jaguars aren't playing especially well defensively, and the Vikings are a two-loss team. But Minnesota quarterback San Darnold has been turning the ball over of late, and the Vikings have quietly given up the 10th-most fantasy points per game to defenses this season.
WEEK 10 KICKER RANKINGS

Top 100 Overall/"Flex" Rankings

Before we get to the top 100 players overall for Week 10 in fantasy football leagues (a list that can potentially assist in "flex" lineup decisions) a few notes.
The first is the same as always—there are no quarterbacks listed here. If your fantasy league features a "superflex" spot and you have a viable QB2, then said quarterback should probably be in that spot.
The second is that Week 10 features four teams on a bye—the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders and Seattle Seahawks. No Cedric Tillman, Josh Jacobs, Brock Bowers or Kenneth Walker III this week.
Finally, there is no shortage of fantasy managers sitting at 4-5 or 3-6 who feel as though their backs are against the wall. In many cases, they are. Don't look at the last five weeks as five games you have to win. Look at Week 10 as one game you have to win. Then do the same in Week 11.
That won't guarantee a winning streak. But it will stop you from screwing up in the now because you're looking too far down the road.
One week at a time.
