B/R's Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks for Every NFL Week 10 Fantasy Matchup

Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson

It's Week 10 of the 2024 fantasy football campaign. Playoff races are taking shape, the stretch run is right around the corner, and quite a few fantasy managers can't really afford to take any more losses.

The Week 10 NFL slate is sure to make for some massive fantasy stat lines and some equally huge disappointments.

The week's first game features two teams—the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals—that only recently played a 41-38 overtime game loaded with huge performances.

The last game of the weekend, between the Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Rams, is stacked with big names at running back and wide receiver.

Between them? There are good and bad matchups, opportunities and potential pitfalls, banged-up big names and quite a few lesser ones set up to exceed expectations.

What fantasy managers need is a Week 10 roadmap. A game-by-game breakdown of who is going to blow up or come up short.

That's where we come in.

Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens

Chase Brown
Chase Brown

Key Injuries

The Cincinnati Bengals could be down a wide receiver for Thursday's AFC North showdown. Tee Higgins missed Week 9 with a quadriceps injury and is doubtful for Week 10.

The Baltimore Ravens will be short a pass-catcher, as tight end Isaiah Likely is out with a bad hamstring. Quarterback Lamar Jackson missed practice time for the second week in a row, but his status for Thursday's game isn't believed to be in jeopardy.

Start of the Week

Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,100]: Andrews was invisible earlier in the season, but he has found the end zone in three of the last four games. This week, he faces a Bengals defense allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends.

Sit of the Week

Chase Brown, RB, Cincinnati Bengals [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]: With Zack Moss on injured reserve, Brown should move into an every-down role in the Cincinnati offense. But the Ravens have given up just 75.7 yards per game on the ground this season, the best in the NFL.

Sleeper

Mike Gesicki, TE, Cincinnati Bengals [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,600]: Gesicki had a huge game last week against the Las Vegas Raiders, catching five passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns. The Ravens have struggled against the pass, surrendering the 10th-most PPR points per game to tight ends for the season.

Stat to Know

280.9. That's how many passing yards per game the Ravens are giving up, the most in the NFL. That's right, Baltimore has the NFL's best run defense and its worst pass defense. In a Week 5 overtime loss to the Ravens, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow threw for 392 yards and five touchdowns.

New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers (Munich)

Tyrone Tracy Jr.
Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Key Injuries

The Panthers aren't exactly brimming with skill-position talent, and it will be at least one more week before veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) will return from injured reserve. Rookie running back Jonathon Brooks (knee) may be available for Sunday's game in Munich, but it's far from a sure thing.

The Giants will also be short a wide receiver Sunday. Darius Slayton suffered a concussion in last week's loss to the Washington Commanders, is in the league's protocol and won't travel with the team to Germany.

Start of the Week

Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, New York Giants [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]: Tracy has emerged as the lead running back for the Giants, and that could mean big things in Germany this weekend. No team in the league has allowed more rushing yards per game than the 159.3 the Panthers are giving up in 2024.

Sit of the Week

Wan'Dale Robinson, WR, New York Giants [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,500]: Robinson has been quiet of late after three straight games with single-digit PPR points. That's not likely to change in Week 10, as the Panthers are a below-average fantasy matchup for wide receivers this year.

Sleeper

New York Giants Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,800]: The Giants haven't been great defensively this year, but Carolina has one of the NFL's worst offenses; it ranks 30th in the league in yards per game and 29th in points per game. The Panthers have also allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to defenses this season.

Stat to Know

5.0. That's how many yards per carry Tracy has averaged as a rookie this year. He has had at least 17 touches in four of the past five games, and he has surpassed 100 total yards in three of those contests. The Panthers are the only team in the league allowing more than 30 PPR points per game to running backs this season. A big game is coming from the youngster.

New England Patriots at Chicago Bears

D'Andre Swift
D'Andre Swift

Key Injuries

The New England Patriots have struggled offensively this season, but no fantasy-relevant players are on the injury report in Week 10.

Bears quarterback Caleb Williams took a beating last week in Arizona and suffered an ankle injury. But the No. 1 overall pick is likely to be out there in Week 10 against the Patriots.

Start of the Week

D'Andre Swift, RB, Chicago Bears [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,500]: Two weeks ago, Swift carried the ball 18 times for 129 yards and a score in a favorable matchup. The fifth-year pro gets another one this week—the Patriots have allowed the sixth-most PPR points per game to running backs this season.

Sit of the Week

Caleb Williams, QB, Chicago Bears [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,600]: Williams has struggled of late, posting less than 10 fantasy points in back-to-back starts. That doesn't bode well for Week 10, especially with the USC product nursing a bad wheel.

Sleeper

Chicago Bears Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,000]: The Bears defense hasn't looked especially stout of late, but New England's offense has a tendency to make opposing defenses look good—the team has surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points per game to defenses this season.

Stat to Know

141. That's how many rushing yards Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has tallied the past two weeks, including 95 in last week's loss to the Tennessee Titans. If he had better weapons around him, he could be a real factor in fantasy leagues, but he's a risky QB2 at best as things stand.

Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts

Jonathan Taylor
Jonathan Taylor

Key Injuries

The Buffalo Bills enter Week 10 with banged-up wideouts. Wide receiver Amari Cooper has a wrist injury but should be good to go. Curtis Samuel (pectoral) was also limited Wednesday, while Keon Coleman has been ruled out with a wrist injury.

The Colts are in slightly better shape, with no players of real interest to fantasy managers on the injury report outside of wideout Michael Pittman Jr., who is out with back and finger injuries.

Start of the Week

Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,500]: Taylor was held in check by the Minnesota Vikings last week, but the Bills have been kind to opposing running backs this year; no team in the AFC has surrendered more PPR points per game to the position this season.

Sit of the Week

Josh Downs, WR, Indianapolis Colts [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,200]: The entire Colts passing attack disappeared last week against the Vikings, and now Downs and the Indy offense face a Bills team that has given up the sixth-fewest PPR points per game to wide receivers through nine weeks.

Sleeper

Dalton Kincaid, TE, Buffalo Bills [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,900]: Kincaid's second season with the Bills has been a fantasy disappointment. But the Colts have given up a lot of PPR points per game this year to tight ends: over 15.5. Only the Kansas City Chiefs have allowed more.

Stat to Know

193.7. The number of passing yards per game the Colts have averaged in 2024, which ranks 22nd in the league. The benching of Anthony Richardson and insertion of Joe Flacco under center was supposed to give Indy's passing game a jolt, but the team managed just 179 yards through the air against one of the NFL's worst pass defenses last week.

Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars

Brian Thomas Jr.
Brian Thomas Jr.

Key Injuries

As the Jaguars prepare to host the Vikings, the team does so with a banged-up quarterback. Trevor Lawrence has a shoulder injury and is expected to sit out Week 10. Mac Jones would draw the start under center if Lawrence can't play.

Running backs Tank Bigsby (ankle) and Travis Etienne (hamstring) and wide receivers Brian Thomas (chest) and Gabe Davis (shoulder) were all limited in practice this week, bit it appears they will play. Check the inactives list at 11:30 AM Sunday.

The Vikings head to Florida at relatively full strength, with no skill-position players of note in danger of missing Week 10.

Start of the Week

Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,600]: The Minnesota secondary played its best game of the season against the Colts last week, but we're still talking about a pass defense that has allowed 250 yards per game through the air, the fifth-most in the NFL. Even with Jones out there, Thomas should eat.

Sit of the Week

Tank Bigsby, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,700]: The Vikings may be easy to throw the ball against, but the same can't be said about the run defense. Minnesota has allowed just 81.9 rushing yards per game in 2024—no team in the NFC has allowed less.

Sleeper

Jacksonville Jaguars Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $2,500]: Sam Darnold may be having the best season of his NFL career, but he turned it over three times last week against the Colts, including a fumble after a strip-sack that was returned for a touchdown. The Jags aren't a bad deep-league streaming option defensively in Week 10.

Stat to Know

97.9. That's how many receiving yards Justin Jefferson is averaging this season—just off his career mark of 98.3 yards per contest. The latter is an NFL record. It doesn't matter who or where the Vikings are playing, he is as close to a sure thing every week as fantasy managers can get. An argument can be made that the three-time Pro Bowler should have been the No. 1 overall pick in fantasy drafts this summer.

Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs

DeAndre Hopkins
DeAndre Hopkins

Key Injuries

The Denver Broncos need all hands on deck to have a chance to hand the Chiefs their first loss of the season. As things stand, they will have them—their injury report is clean.

The Chiefs averted disaster last week when Patrick Mahomes' ankle injury turned out to be minor. He's expected to be fine Sunday, but wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) has yet to return to practice and will miss Week 10

Wideout Mecole Hardman (shoulder) and running back Kareem Hunt (quad) practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday. Hunt's off the injury report. Hardman is questionable.

Start of the Week

DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Kansas City Chiefs [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,300]: The Broncos have been stout defensively this season, but Hopkins had his coming-out party last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, catching eight of nine targets for 86 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Sit of the Week

Javonte Williams, RB, Denver Broncos [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,000]: If Denver has a chance to win this game, it has to get Williams and the ground game going. That won't be easy against the Chiefs—Kansas City is the only team in the league giving up less than 15 PPR points per game to running backs this season.

Sleeper

Kansas City Chiefs Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,600]: Assuming this game goes as expected, the Broncos are going to struggle running the ball and be playing from behind. That will put pressure on rookie quarterback Bo Nix, which could lead to mistakes.

Stat to Know

291. The number of passing yards Mahomes had last week against the Bucs, which tied the season high he set in Week 1. He also threw three touchdown passes last week for the first time this year. He isn't going to morph into the 5,000-yard passer he's been in the past, but the arrival of Hopkins appears to be the jolt the Kansas City passing game needed.

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

Alvin Kamara
Alvin Kamara

Key Injuries

The Broncos enter Week 10 with some banged-up pass-catchers. Kyle Pitts was limited in practice Wednesday with a sore hamstring, while wide receiver Drake London was also limited with a hip issue.

The Saints have similar problems. Wide receiver Chris Olave is a candidate for injured reserve after being hospitalized with a concussion last week, while Cedrick Wilson Jr. is questionable due to an injured shoulder.

Start of the Week

Bijan Robinson, RB, Atlanta Falcons [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,700]: Robinson is quietly having a top-five fantasy season, and he should continue piling up the yardage and fantasy points this week against a Saints defense surrendering 136.6 yards per game on the ground.

Sit of the Week

Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints [DraftKings DFS Value: $8,100]: Kamara is nearly impossible to sit, but fantasy managers need to temper expectations in Week 10. With the Saints all kinds of beat up at wide receiver, the Falcons defense will no doubt make limiting Kamara its primary focus Sunday.

Sleeper

Atlanta Falcons Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,400]: The Atlanta defense hasn't generated a lot of fantasy value this year, largely due to an inability to sack opposing quarterbacks. But the Saints are ravaged by injuries, have dropped seven straight games and are giving up the eighth-most fantasy points per game to defenses this season.

Stat to Know

0. The number of catches Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts had the last time Atlanta played the Saints. He had been on something of a hot streak, but he came crashing back to earth last week with one catch for 11 yards on a single target. He isn't going to be an easy player to trust in fantasy leagues this week, but most managers likely don't have much choice if he is available.

San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

George Kittle
George Kittle

Key Injuries

The $64 million question for the San Francisco 49ers this week is whether running back Christian McCaffrey will make his season debut after finally coming off injured reserve. All indications are that he will, but his workload is another matter.

However, the Niners have other issues, with wide receivers Jauan Jennings (back) and Deebo Samuel (oblique) and running back Jordan Mason all limited in practice this week.

Tampa's wide receivers have been blasted by injuries of late. Mike Evans is the wrong side of questionable with a hamstring issue, while Jalen McMillan also missed last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs with a hamstring problem of his own.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield also missed practice time with a toe injury, but he was back out there Friday and is expected to be a go,

Start of the Week

George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,800]: This week could be a perfect storm of sorts for Kittle. Not only are the Niners beat up at wide receiver, but Tampa's pass defense has also struggled. The Buccaneers have allowed the third-most PPR points per game to tight ends this season.

Sit of the Week

Rachaad White, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,900]: White had just 35 total yards last week against the Chiefs, although he did find the end zone. Tampa's backfield has become a true committee, and that makes both White and Bucky Irving risky plays, especially when the matchup isn't great.

Sleeper

Sterling Shepard, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,100]: With the Buccaneers hit hard by injuries at wideout, Shepard quietly had double-digit PPR points last week against the Chiefs. He'll make it two in a row Sunday in a game in which Tampa is going to have to throw to move the football.

Stat to Know

159.0. The number of rushing yards the 49ers are averaging per game, which ranks fourth in the league. Still, if the team gets McCaffrey back, that will add a whole new dimension to their offense. If he plays this week, fantasy managers almost have to start him, but it could take him a week or three to get back to 100 percent—just in time for the stretch run and fantasy playoffs.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Commanders

Najee Harris
Najee Harris

Key Injuries

The meeting between the Steelers and Commanders is one of Sunday's bigger games, and the visitors enter it in good shape injury wise—no Pittsburgh players of fantasy relevance are in danger of missing the game.

The Commanders could be full strength as well for the game. Running back Brian Robinson Jr. has a hamstring injury, and after missing Friday's practice he's a game-time decision.

Start of the Week

Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,200]: Harris comes out of the bye as one of the hottest running backs in the league—the fourth-year pro has surpassed 100 yards on the ground in three straight starts, finding the end zone in two of those games.

Sit of the Week

Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,300]: McLaurin has built a strong rapport with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, but Sunday's matchup leaves something to be desired. The Steelers are 22nd in the NFL in PPR points per game given up to wide receivers.

Sleeper

Pat Freiermuth, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,300]: Freiermuth was quiet last time out, managing just two receptions for 19 yards. But the change at quarterback in the Steel City has invigorated the passing game, and the Commanders aren't a bad matchup for tight ends this season.

Stat to Know

106.7. The passer rating for Daniels after nine weeks this season. He has completed over 71 percent of his passes, has over four times as many touchdown passes as interceptions and has added over 450 yards and four scores on the ground. He has a real chance to finish the 2024 season as fantasy football's top signal-caller.

Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers

Tony Pollard
Tony Pollard

Key Injuries

The Titans enter Week 10 with quite a few injuries, but those players are at least trending in the right direction.

Running backs Tony Pollard (foot) and Tyjae Spears (hamstring), wide receiver Tyler Boyd (shoulder) and quarterback Will Levis (shoulder) all got in limited practices Wednesday. Levis and Spears are off the injury report altogether, while Pollard practiced Friday and is expected to play.

The Chargers don't have much in the way of injuries offensively. Running back Gus Edwards had his 21-day practice window opened to return from injured reserve this week.

Start of the Week

Los Angeles Chargers Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,800]: Much of the Chargers' success this season can be attributed to their eighth-ranked defense. There isn't a team in the league that has given up more fantasy points per game to defenses this season than the Titans.

Sit of the Week

Tony Pollard, RB, Tennessee Titans [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,900]: Pollard didn't practice at all last week, but he not only played last week against New England but also set a season high in rushing yards. The sledding gets much harder this week, with the Chargers giving up the second-fewest PPR points per game to running backs in 2024.

Sleeper

Quentin Johnston, WR, Los Angeles Chargers [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,900]: The Titans have been stingy to opposing wideouts this season, but Johnston is coming off a huge game against the Cleveland Browns with four catches for 118 yards and a touchdown.

Stat to Know

Three. That's how many consecutive games Justin Herbert has thrown for 275 yards in, after failing to throw for even 200 yards in the first four games of the season. The Chargers are rounding into form offensively, and the 26-year-old has been fantasy's eighth-ranked quarterback over the past month.

New York Jets at Arizona Cardinals

Marvin Harrison Jr.
Marvin Harrison Jr.

Key Injuries

As the Arizona Cardinals prepare to host the New York Jets, there could be trouble in the backfield after starting running back James Conner was limited in practice this week with a finger injury.

The Jets are in solid shape injury-wise. Outside wide receiver Allen Lazard (who remains on injured reserve), New York has no prominent injuries. However, the team is a little thin at wideout after Mike Williams was traded before Tuesday's deadline.

Start of the Week

Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,600]: At 5-4, the Cardinals have exceeded expectations to this point in the season, but their run defense hasn't been great this year. The Cardinals are allowing over 130 rushing yards per game and the 10th-most PPR points per game to running backs.

Sit of the Week

Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Arizona Cardinals [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,400]: Harrison hasn't posted the sort of production fantasy managers expected from the talented rookie. That's not likely to change this week against Sauce Gardner and the Jets—no team has given up fewer PPR points per game to wide receivers this season.

Sleeper

Aaron Rodgers, QB, New York Jets [DraftKings DFS Value: $5,700]: Rodgers hasn't been especially relevant in fantasy leagues this year. Last week against the Houston Texans, though, he surpassed 20 fantasy points for just the second time this season, and the Arizona defense can be thrown on.

Stat to Know

19. The number of targets Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams amassed in last week's win over the Texans. With Lazard on injured reserve and Mike Williams now in Pittsburgh, expect Wilson and Adams to dominate the target share for the foreseeable future. Both are locked in as every-week starters now, with Wilson the slightly better option.

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

Jalen Hurts
Jalen Hurts

Key Injuries

Both teams in this NFC East showdown have significant injury issues.

The Cowboys won't have quarterback Dak Prescott, who could be headed for injured reserve after suffering a hamstring issue last week. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is also questionable with a shoulder problem, though he practiced in a limited fashion this week.

Philly also has a banged-up star wideout or two. A.J. Brown injured his knee last week and was limited in practice Wednesday, and DeVonta Smith missed practice with a hamstring injury. Both are off the injury report as of Friday though.

Also, quarterback Jalen Hurts has been limited in practice with an ankle injury, but he's off the injury report and fully expected to go.

Start of the Week

Jalen Hurts, QB, Philadelphia Eagles [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,800]: The injuries at wide receiver for the Eagles are cause for some concern, but Hurts' rushing ability helps alleviate those concerns. This year, the Cowboys have surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.

Sit of the Week

Rico Dowdle, RB, Dallas Cowboys [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,100]: Dowdle had his best game of the year last week, tallying 107 total yards and finding the end zone. But the Cowboys have no Prescott, maybe no CeeDee Lamb and the Eagles are fifth in the league against the run.

Sleeper

Jahan Dotson, WR, Philadelphia Eagles [DraftKings DFS Value: $4,700]: To say Dotson has been a disappointment to this point in his career is an understatement. But there's a non-zero chance he'll be Philly's No. 1 receiver this week in a middling fantasy matchup against Dallas.

Stat to Know

102.2. That's how many total yards Saquon Barkley is averaging per game in his first season with the Eagles. Given the team's injuries at wide receiver, it's a safe bet he will be a big part of the offensive game plan this week against a Dallas defense that has allowed 147.8 rushing yards per game—the third-most in the league.

Detroit Lions at Houston Texans

Tank Dell
Tank Dell

Key Injuries

There isn't a hotter offense in the NFL right now than Detroit's, and that may be in part because the unit is healthy. No fantasy-relevant Lions are on the injury report.

The Houston Texans haven't been as fortunate and have been struggling of late due to injuries at wide receiver. There's some hope Nico Collins (hamstring) will return Sunday, but the 25-year-old is questionable at best.

Start of the Week

Tank Dell, WR, Houston Texans [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,400]: Dell had a big Week 9, catching six passes for 126 yards against the New York Jets. With Collins iffy to play at best, the Houston product should see a huge target share against a Lions team giving up the third-most PPR points per game to wide receivers this year.

Sit of the Week

David Montgomery, RB, Detroit Lions [DraftKings DFS Value: $6,600]: The Lions are an offensive buzzsaw right now, but the run game could struggle in Week 10. The Texans are allowing 114.2 yards per game on the ground, but they have allowed the third-fewest PPR points per game to running backs this year.

Sleeper

Detroit Lions Defense [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,100]: The Lions added edge-rusher Za'Darius Smith at the trade deadline to offset the injury absence of Aidan Hutchinson. Injuries at wideout have stalled the Texans offense, and C.J. Stroud was sacked eight times in last week's loss to the Jets.

Stat to Know

32.3. That's how many points the soaring Lions are scoring per game—tops in the NFL. Jared Goff is a legit MVP candidate. Jahmyr Gibbs and Montgomery lead the league's sixth-best ground attack. Amon-Ra St. Brown is a top-10 fantasy option. Detroit's offensive line might be the best in the NFL. This is a complete offense playing at an incredibly high level.

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams

Kyren Williams
Kyren Williams

Key Injuries

The Miami Dolphins are beyond desperate for a win, but the injuries that have dogged the team all season have taken a hiatus...at least for now.

Rams wideout Demarcus Robinson has a toe injury, but while it cost him practice time head coach Sean McVay indicated that Robinson should be fine for Monday's game.

Start of the Week

Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,800]: Williams had an off game last week against the Seattle Seahawks, but he has been consistently productive and gets a Miami defense giving up the eighth-most PPR points per game to RBs this season.

Sit of the Week

Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams [DraftKings DFS Value: $7,200]: Nacua heads into Week 10 looking for redemption after getting ejected last week. He now faces a Dolphins defense that has surrendered the fourth-fewest PPR points per game to wide receivers.

Sleeper

Demarcus Robinson, WR, Los Angeles Rams [DraftKings DFS Value: $3,100]: Robinson's matchup isn't any better than Nacua's. But with Nacua and Cooper Kupp drawing so much coverage from opposing defenses, the 30-year-old has been hot and had two touchdown grabs last week against the Seahawks.

Stat to Know

One. That's how many 100-yard games Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has this year. It's also the number of receiving touchdowns he has, and both came in Week 1. If the Dolphins have any chance of turning their season around, the team needs to get Hill more involved offensively, starting Monday night.
