Novak Djokovic advanced to his 50th career Grand Slam semifinal on Tuesday at the 2025 Australian Open.

The 37-year-old Serbian took down Carlos Alcaraz in four sets to set up a semifinal battle with Alexander Zverev.

Zverev eliminated American Tommy Paul in four sets on Tuesday. That leaves Ben Shelton as the only American left in the men's singles draw.

Aryna Sabalenka and Paula Badosa moved on to the women's semifinals. Sabalenka's winning streak in Melbourne is now up to 19 matches.

Badosa knocked out Coco Gauff, the highest-seeded American left in the women's singles draw.

Madison Keys and Emma Navarro will try to get through to the final four on Wednesday.

No. 2 Alexander Zverev def. No. 12 Tommy Paul, 7-6 (1), 7-6 (0), 2-6, 6-1

No. 7 Novak Djokovic def. No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4

Djokovic clinched his 50th career Grand Slam semifinal berth on Tuesday with a four-set win over Alcaraz.

Djokovic has been the most consistent men's player in Melbourne for quite some time.

The seventh-seeded Serbian made it into the final four in each of his last six Australian Open appearances. He is a 10-time winner of the season's first major.

Djokovic will face Zverev for the 13th time in their careers in the semifinal round. Djokovic owns an 8-4 record against the second-seeded German.

Zverev needed four sets to eliminate Paul on Tuesday. The American took Zverev to a pair of tiebreaks in the first two sets, but he did not break through until the third set.

Paul was unable to capitalize on the momentum gained from the third-set win and Zverev put away the match in the fourth set.

Djokovic and Zverev last met in Cincinnati in 2023. Djokovic has won all three head-to-head meetings at Grand Slams.

No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka def. No. 27 Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, 6-2, 2-6, 6-3

No. 11 Paula Badosa def. No. 3 Coco Gauff, 7-5, 6-4

Sabalenka's incredible run in Australia continued with a three-set win on Tuesday.

The two-time reigning Australian Open champion is now on a 19-match winning streak in Melbourne.

Sabalenka's win on Tuesday marked the first time she was pushed into a third set all tournament.

It was a rare result for Sabalenka. She has been pushed to three sets just twice during her title reign that began in 2023.

The No. 1 seed will face Badosa in the semifinals. Badosa advanced to her first Grand Slam semifinal with a straight-set win over Gauff.

Badosa had never made it past the fourth round at the Australian Open prior to this year.

Like Zverev, Badosa enters the semifinal at a significant disadvantage in the head-to-head matchup.

Sabalenka owns a 5-2 record against Badosa. Sabalenka's won five meetings in a row as well.
