Alabama Football Recruiting 2025: Top Remaining 2025 Recruits, Class Predictions

Kalen DeBoer couldn't lead Alabama into the College Football Playoff during his first season as head coach at the program. The Crimson Tide went 9-3 in the regular season, then lost to Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl.
But DeBoer has been quite successful on the recruiting trail since arriving in Tuscaloosa. The Tide's 2025 class ranks fourth in the nation (per 247Sports Composite), which has them behind only Texas, Georgia and Ohio State.
With National Signing Day taking place Wednesday, Alabama's 2025 recruiting class is essentially already set. The Crimson Tide had 21 players send in their national letters of intent during the early signing period in December, with 18 of them enrolled on campus.
It should be a quiet day for the Tide. But this is where their 2025 class stands with National Signing Day now here.

Top Remaining Recruits

The most notable Class of 2025 recruit who didn't sign in December also hasn't committed to school. He has some ties to Alabama as well, although it no longer seems likely he'll be joining the Crimson Tide.
Ty Haywood, a 5-star offensive tackle from Texas, committed last July 14. Then, he decided to decommit on Jan. 13, immediately taking a visit to Michigan four days later.
Because Haywood's commitment is still open, nothing is a guarantee for him at this time.
There aren't many other 5-star or 4-star recruits who haven't already signed with a program. And the others who remain available are not likely to end up choosing Alabama.
So Haywood will be the big one to keep an eye on during National Signing Day on Wednesday.
Predictions

It should be a quiet day for Alabama, and that's not too bold of a prediction. In fact, there's unlikely to be much big news for any of the top programs in the country.
Don't be surprised if Michigan lands Haywood and bolsters its 2025 class with a late addition. It's been trending in that direction since the 5-star OT decommitted from Alabama, and it would be unexpected for him to pick a program other than the Wolverines at this point.
Alabama may not add any new players, or if it does, nobody too highly rated. But that will be OK, considering how much success DeBoer already had in assembling this class.
The Crimson Tide are poised to reload with top talent, which should help them remain a top contender in the SEC in the years ahead. Russell is now the No. 1 overall recruit in the class (per 247Sports Composite) and is the QB of the future for the Alabama program.
So no news isn't necessarily bad news for the Tide on Wednesday. They've already done their work, and they'll remain high up in the recruiting rankings by the time the cycle is completed.
