ACC Tournament 2025: Men's Bracket, TV Schedule, Dates and Bracketology Predictions

Duke v North Carolina

The 2025 ACC tournament is the Duke Blue Devils' event to lose.

Duke was the class of the ACC regular season and it is in contention to be the title favorite going into the NCAA tournament.

Duke is going after its second ACC tournament title in the last three years, and given how things went in the regular season, more order should be restored to the ACC postseason in 2025.

A year ago, the NC State Wolfpack won five games in five days to win the ACC's automatic bid.

Even a championship run from the teams seeded between No. 5 and No. 8 seems unlikely given how top-heavy the conference is.

Duke's Tournament To Lose

Duke v North Carolina

Duke should be the overwhelming favorite to cut down the nets in Charlotte.

The Blue Devils only lost once in ACC play and they suffered just three defeats all season.

Cooper Flagg and Co. scored 80 points in seven straight games. All of those performances finished in double-digit victories.

A crowning moment in Charlotte will help Duke's case to be the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament.

Jon Scheyer's team might be the No. 1 overall seed in some brackets going into Championship Week since the Auburn Tigers lost two games this week.

Auburn has tougher opponents on the horizon in the SEC tournament, but if Duke wins the ACC tournament, the argument against the Blue Devils will be shorter.

North Carolina To Make Last Effort to Make NCAA Tournament

Duke v North Carolina

The North Carolina Tar Heels will be under the spotlight in Charlotte.

Hubert Davis' team entered Saturday as the "First Team Out" in the bracket projection from ESPN's Joe Lunardi.

North Carolina won six straight games prior to Saturday, but it missed another opportunity for a quality win against Duke.

The Tar Heels went 0-5 against the top four teams in the ACC. They need to reverse that form to feel more comfortable about their spot in the field of 68.

UNC must advance to the quarterfinals to have a shot at the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. A win in that game would pit the Tar Heels against Duke in the semifinals.

A victory over Duke would definitely put the Tar Heels in better standing, but it's hard to imagine that will happen given how much the Blue Devils have dominated this season.

Prediction

Duke v North Carolina

Duke over Louisville

Duke is expected to cruise into Saturday's championship game.

Any other result would be viewed as stunning given the form the Blue Devils have been in.

The Louisville Cardinals went 18-2 in the ACC regular season and appear to be Duke's biggest challenger.

Louisville will have the tougher semifinal matchup, though, against the Clemson Tigers, the only team to beat Duke in ACC play.

Duke may be too tough for any opponent to tame at this point in the campaign, though, and it's so difficult to pick against the Blue Devils right now.
