Why John Cena Wins at WrestleMania 41, The End of Judgment Day, More WWE Raw Takes

The March 24 edition of Raw on Netflix from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland was a big night on the road to WrestleMania 41.
John Cena and Cody Rhodes met once again in the ring, with The GOAT threatening to "ruin wrestling" by taking The American Nightmare's Undisputed WWE Championship and turning it into a "toy" again.
Jey and Jimmy Uso reunited to take down A-Town Down Under in tag team action, only for Gunther to ruin the reunion by beating down Main Event once again.
Lyra Valkyria successfully defended her Women's Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. Bayley stopped Liv Morgan and Rodriguez from getting revenge afterward.
Bron Breakker also remained intercontinental champion, but The Judgment Day ruined his match with Penta, causing a disqualification and setting the stage for a Fatal 4-Way at WrestleMania.
This was an action-packed show for WWE that made the most of an energized Scottish crowd.
John Cena Has Successfully Sold His Heel Turn
John Cena has further clarified his position in WWE, mocking the fans and their belief in what he held dear before walking out on Cody Rhodes again.
It was a tough promo for Cena fans to hear, calling his own actions a "test" that the fans failed.
His ultimate threat to "ruin wrestling" by taking the Undisputed WWE Championship and leaving WWE with own a spinner belt instead is intriguing.
How would The American Nightmare handle losing at WrestleMania and seeing his legacy thrown in the trash by a man he idolized growing up?
Will the entire WWE roster be able to cope with that result? Who would be pushed to step up to help Rhodes?
This is a far more interesting hook than Rhodes retaining against Cena right now, and it would give a new meaning to The GOAT's retirement tour.
Even Rhodes himself should benefit as he can push Cena to get back in the ring and fight him again to reclaim the true world title.
It would take a massive sell from The American Nightmare in the coming weeks to deliver a compelling argument for Rhodes retaining over Cena winning his record 17th title in such ignominious fashion.
Jey Uso Has More Pressure Than Any Wrestler at WrestleMania
WWE has found an answer to Jey Uso's struggles on the road to WrestleMania: lean in.
After his botches last week, Main Event slipped up again during his brawl with Gunther on Monday.
It was clear that the moment was planned based on his talk with Jimmy Uso backstage.
The story is now focused on Jey's nervousness to actually deliver on such a massive stage. That is a good hook if he can pull himself together at 'Mania.
So far, Jey has not delivered on the biggest stages, not just in terms of results but also performances.
His two losses to Gunther were accompanied by some of the weakest matches of The Ring General's main roster run. Jey's match with Jimmy at WrestleMania 40 last year was the worst of the entire weekend.
Now is the time for Jey to deliver. The pressure is on, and WWE is trusting that he is ready for the biggest spotlight possible.
If Jey delivers another mediocre performance with one of the best in WWE today at The Show of Shows, it will likely push him and Jimmy back to tag team wrestling on a full-time basis.
WWE Trending Towards a Big Mistake With Lyra Valkyria
While the two women's world championship pictures for Raw and SmackDown are set, it is less clear what the remaining female champions will be doing at WrestleMania on April 19-20.
Lyra Valkyria has successfully defended her Women's Intercontinental Championship against Dakota Kai, Ivy Nile and Raquel Rodriguez.
Much like men's IC champion Bron Breakker, this should be setting up for a big title defense at 'Mania, possibly against multiple opponents.
Instead, it looks more likely Bayley and The Valkyrie will team up to fight for the Women's Tag Team Championship against titleholders Rodriguez and Liv Morgan.
It makes little sense to put that much gold in one match when the women's roster is already struggling for spots on the 'Mania card.
The best option would be for Bayley to find a different partner to challenge Morgan and Rodriguez, such as Dakota Kai or a returning Becky Lynch.
This would free up Valkyria to defend her gold in a multi-woman match similar to Breakker, giving a spotlight to developing talent such as Nile, Zoey Stark and Maxxine Dupri.
WrestleMania 41 Must End The Judgment Day
The Judgment Day stood tall to end Monday's Raw. It is a familiar sight for a group that was established three years ago.
However, it has never meant less. Finn Bálor has failed to live up to the hype as the solo male star of the group, while Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh and Carlito are treated like jokes often.
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are holding their own, but they don't need The Judgment Day at all.
At this point, WrestleMania 41 feels like the staging ground for a merciful end to a story that has gone on too long.
Balor and Mysterio turning on one another to try to take the Intercontinental Championship can push them apart and break up the stable for good.
Morgan and Rodriguez can move on together as the women's tag team champions. Mysterio can choose to follow them or finally try carving his own path.
This leaves Bálor and McDonagh to tell a more focused story of teacher and student without the baggage of a stable that isn't the same without Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest.
