Jaron Ennis vs. Stanionis Odds, Live Stream and KO, Judges' Scorecards Predictions

IBF welterweight champion Jaron "Boots" Ennis will look to cement his place atop the 147-pound weight class and take the WBA title from Eimantas Stanionis on Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Ennis has run up a flawless 33-0 record with 29 knockouts. With Terrance Crawford recently moving up to 154 pounds, the stage is set for him to become the welterweight division's next big star.
There's still work to do, though. Ennis left something to be desired in his unanimous decision victory over Karen Chukhadzhian.
Ennis gets another shot to stake his claim as the best welterweight in the sport right now on Saturday night.

Fight Preview

This fight could be a tipping point for Boots. No one is going to throw in the towel on him as a champion with a lackluster performance, but the hype surrounding the 27-year-old has flatlined heading into this bout.
The unanimous decision victory over Chukhadzhian ended up as another tick in the win column, but it was the second time that the relatively unknown challenger took him to the final bell.
Ennis earned his reputation as a potential superstar in the support with an electric jab and a cerebral ability to switch stances with power. However, he looked vulnerable against Chukhadzhian and wasn't able to adjust in the rematch.
Still, the champion seems to have acknowledged his last performance wasn't up to his standard and looks forward to showing everyone his potential on Saturday.
“On Saturday you gonna see me in there having fun. Putting on a show; looking great; a flawless performance," he said, per Declan Warrington of Boxing Scene. "Not looking for the knockout; if the knockout comes… I’m having fun. Don’t get up to get no popcorn; don’t move; keep your eyes open.”
Ennis is clearly the favorite, but the bout doesn't come without risk. Stanionis is undefeated in his own right. While he doesn't have as impressive a resume or the long string of knockouts, he's an aggressive fighter.
Stanionis makes up for his lack of natural power with a high-output approach that puts a lot of pressure on opponents. Any criticisms of Ennis's defense could come in to play in this matchup. The Lithuanian will look to bring the pressure and overwhelm Boots's defenses.
However, it's that high-volume strategy that could see Ennis get back to putting on highlight-inducing performances. He's going to have the ability to pick off Stanionis's advances with his jab.
That should allow him to take over the pace of the fight early on. As the rounds progress, Ennis should be able to open up his offensive arsenal.
That should help bring back the hype for Ennis and give fans an entertaining performance from the biggest name in the welterweight division right now.
