Reviewing Top WWE Rumors Following WrestleMania 41 Results

The WWE rumor mill is consistently churning out reports from the industry's top insiders about the biggest and brightest stars in the company.
On the heels of WrestleMania 41, even more so.
Bianca Belair and Cody Rhodes find themselves in the headlines following the latest Showcase of the Immortals. Find out for what with this review of those rumors.
Potential Injury Update on Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair saw her unbeaten streak at WrestleMania come to an end Sunday night in Las Vegas and may have suffered injury to go along with that insult.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported, "There was concern that Bianca Belair had suffered a finger injury during her women's title match."
If she is injured, it appeared as though it occurred during the corner Tower of Doom spot in which she brought both Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky off the ropes and to the mat below, her left hand getting trapped under the former in the process. She could be seen shaking it and communicating with the referee seconds later.
The match continued, Belair played a key role in the closing moments, and The EST never skipped a beat.
If there was a significant injury, hopefully it will not keep the former champion out of action for too long as she was in the midst of a run that appeared poised for a heel turn and a new, edgier attitude for the acclaimed competitor.
Perhaps even a one-on-one rivalry with Ripley that would allow the revolutionary performers to take their rivalry to the next level.
Regardless, Belair is too valuable to the women's division for her to miss an extended period of time, especially coming off a Match of the Year candidate that saw Sky retain her title in the opening contest of Sunday's card.
Latest on WWE's Future Plans for the Hall of Fame Ceremony

Fans who tuned into this year's Hall of Fame on the East Coast did not see Triple H, Bret Hart and Steve Austin, The Natural Disasters, Michelle McCool, and Lex Luger take to the stage to accept their inductions until 1:00 a.m.
By the time The King of Kings finished his lengthy speech, it was 4:00 a.m.
Sapp reported, "One WWE source we spoke to claimed that the Hall of Fame ceremony running that long next year is 'highly unlikely, and if it does, it probably won't be in that time slot.'"
That is a welcome relief for fans, journalists, media, and anyone else who turns into the Hall of Fame ceremony for one reason or another. While it is a well-deserved honor for the stars of a bygone era to take their place among the immortals in the Hall of Fame, the length of the ceremony is often problematic and the time difference this year adversely affected its ability to be seen live by as many people as possible.
Make the necessary changes, find a daytime to hold the ceremony, or change it completely by holding it during SummerSlam or Survivor Series weekend.
WWE Prepared for Negative Cody Rhodes Reaction

Friday night on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes heard something he had not since leaving All Elite Wrestling in 2022: boos.
The fans in Las Vegas greeted The American Nightmare with the loudest negative reaction he had faced since assuming the role of No. 1 babyface in WWE, but the company was not concerned.
The busy Sapp reported, "Regarding Cody Rhodes being booed at Smackdown, it's something WWE was aware could happen and could have at any point in the last three years. Those we spoke to said they're confident they can perform with whatever crowd reaction happens."
Rhodes was always going to face some backlash considering the Superstar he was sharing the ring with. John Cena was the hero to millions for two decades and, heel or not, was destined to have the support of those who grew up only knowing him as the top guy in the company.
That WWE was not shaken by the response and was confident that Rhodes would be able to perform up to his standard regardless is in-line with the company's long-standing attitude toward hostile crowds.
Look no further than Cena himself, who was booed his fair share through the 2000s and early 2010s before being accepted as the franchise star later in his career.
Rhodes will be just fine and there is no reason to believe that audiences across the globe are going to start protesting him as the top guy in professional wrestling.
At least for now.
