WWE NXT Results, Winners, Live Grades, Reaction, Highlights After Stand & Deliver

Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of WWE NXT on April 22.
This was the fallout episode following Stand & Deliver, so there was a lot to address.
Not only did Hank and Tank become the new tag team champions, but we also saw Sol Ruca add the North American title to her Speed belt to become a double champion.
On Saturday, Stacks turned on the D'Angelo family, Oba Femi retained the NXT Championship, and Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley earned a shot at the women's tag titles on Tuesday's show by defeating three other teams.
Let's take a look at everything that happened on this week's episode of NXT.
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs. Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley

After a recap of Stand & Deliver, Morgan and Rodriguez made their way to the ring to fight for the women's tag titles for the third time in three days.
They lost the titles on Sunday, regained them on Monday and had to defend them again against Dolin and Paxley, who won a Fatal 4-Way to earn this opportunity.
Morgan and Paxley began the match with an exchange that saw the former women's champion stomp her opponent into the mat. Paxley tried to get in her face, so Morgan tagged out to the powerhouse of their team.
The champions had the upper hand for most of this match while the challengers made brief comebacks every few minutes. Rodriguez was positioned as a monster powerhouse that the babyfaces had trouble overcoming.
The champions were able to retain the titles in a match that had its fair share of messy moments but still had enough fun to keep fans entertained.
Result: Morgan and Rodriguez defeated Dolin and Paxley
Grade: C
Notable Moments and Observations
—Three title matches across pay-per-view and TV in three days might be some kind of record.
—The way Rodriguez swung Paxley around and dropped her was a good spot. It's one of those moves that looks like it would actually be effective because it would be so disorienting.
—Paxley's moonsault was odd because she connected with her feet, so she almost landed right on her face.
—Paxley's 450 splash was also awkward. She basically landed on her feet and then fell onto her opponent.
Lexis King vs. Noam Dar

Ricky Saints came out to give a promo about retaining the North American Championship at the weekend, but he was interrupted by Lexis King.
They agreed to a title vs. cup match to take place on another day as long as King retains his cup against a mystery opponent.
His opponent was Noam Dar, who was making his return after being out of action since May last year. They immediately locked up and began having a nice technical exchange.
They kept a quick pace but took the time to sell a few of the bigger spots. Dar looked good and didn't seem to have much ring rust to shake off.
In a somewhat surprising outcome, Dar won with a back elbow to regain the Heritage Cup. It seemed weird to set up a match with Saints if King was just going to lose anyway, but we'll have to see if WWE has something planned.
Result: Dar defeated King
Grade: B
Notable Moments and Observations
—Penn and Teller agreed to give King his Heritage Cup back if he defended it on the show against a mystery opponent.
—Dar trying to wipe King's beard off was hilarious.
Thea Hail vs. Fallon Henley

Thea Hail took on Fallon Henley in a match that was booked following a backstage segment earlier in the show. The latter is fresh off a return and was looking to build momentum.
After Henley had control at first, the former Chase U standout began to build a head of steam. She ended up winning in just a couple of minutes. Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx made no effort to help their partner.
This was short and had little to it, but the handful of things they did looked good. Henley is an underrated performer who should be getting bigger opportunities than this.
Result: Hail defeated Henley
Grade: C
Notable Moments and Observations
—The backstage segment with Hail and Henley felt unrehearsed and almost like it was a last-minute decision.
Je'Von Evans and Myles Borne vs. Osiris Griffin and Dion Lennox
Oba Femi and Trick Williams were having an argument in the ring when Joe Hendry arrived.
The TNA champion said Trick has been complaining too much and called him "entitled."
The segment ended with Hendry and Femi sending Williams out of the ring together, but they also planted seeds for a potential TNA vs. NXT champion match.
Myles Borne of NQCC and Je'Von Evans teamed up to take on Osiris Griffin and Dion Lennox of DarkState, who were fresh off a win over The D'Angelo Family at the weekend.
Griffin and Lennox had a significant size advantage over both men, so this match was a series of sequences that saw DarkState control the pace while Evans and Borne tried to find ways to counter their power.
The other members of DarkState taunted Evans and Borne from ringside as their teammates dominated in the ring. Borne had a nice showing after a hot tag, but one big spinebuster put him down. Lennox and Griffin finished him off with a double powerbomb.
The crowd went almost silent for the finish of this match. The interest level went way down, which was a little weird because this was a solid contest.
Result: DarkState defeated Borne and Evans
Grade: B-
Notable Moments and Observations
—Hendry is not a small man, so to see Williams and Femi dwarf him is a reminder of just how big they are.
—The way Griffin caught Evans in a suicide dive was impressive.
—Borne almost appeared to move in slow motion when he did a dive out of the ring. It looked cool.
Stephanie Vaquer vs. Roxanne Perez

The NXT women's title headlined the show when Vaquer defended the belt against Perez in the main event.
Vaquer had a slight size and power advantage, but The Prodigy didn't seem intimidated. She backed the champion to the corner right away.
Both are versatile performers, so we saw a bit of everything in this bout. They had some technical exchanges, used some strikes and even took to the sky once or twice.
After countering Perez's finisher, Vaquer took her down for the pin to retain her NXT Women's Championship.
Giulia came out after the match and had a staring contest with the champion, but Jordynne Grace was also shown watching from the crowd.
Result: Vaquer defeated Perez
Grade: B+
Notable Moments and Observations
—WWE did a couple of segments about The D'Angelo Family throughout the show.
—King attacked Saints backstage while he was talking to Ethan Page. WWE loves to put former All Elite Wrestling figures in segments together.
—The crowd noise was weird throughout this episode. There were moments when it seemed like the entire audience went quiet, which you almost never hear at a WWE show.
The Final Word
The post-Stand & Deliver episode of NXT addressed a lot of what happened at the PPV, but it seemed like the show didn’t make much of it feel important.
All of the events from the weekend were glossed over unless they were directly tied to a segment happening on the show, and even then it felt like WWE wanted to move on quickly.
The return of Dar and his subsequent Heritage Cup win was a nice surprise, and the women's tag title match had some fun moments, but Vaquer and Perez gave us the performance of the night.
The NXT women's division continues to shine on a weekly basis. The depth of the roster and the level of talent could even be called better than the main roster right now, which is saying a lot.
NXT has another big event coming up with Battleground on May 25, so it has about a month to set up the matches that will make up the card. There are a lot of potential ways WWE can go with certain Superstars, so the next few weeks should be interesting.
