Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon said recently that every player is on the market for a trade. After all, the Florida Panthers haven't won anything in a long time, so no one is really indispensable.

One of the biggest rumors is about where captain and defenseman Bryan McCabe will end up. There is speculation that he and the Panthers will enter contract talks, but there is also some interest in the veteran.

Here are the top 10 destinations for McCabe.

10. Phoenix Coyotes

With Ed Jovanovski and Adrian Aucoin out, the Coyotes could use some help on their blue line.

Bryan McCabe could help with that if the two teams could find the right combination of players to make it worth the Coyotes' time.

9. Columbus Blue Jackets

The Columbus Blue Jackets have been in the market for a defenseman. How about Bryan McCabe?

McCabe has 22 points and is a plus-six on the year. Not too shabby for someone who plays for the Florida Panthers.

8. Vancouver Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks may be seeking some help after all the injuries to their blue line. They will really only need a so-called rental player, so perhaps Bryan McCabe could fit the bill.

McCabe’s salary is on the higher side, but the Canucks may be able to work out a deal to have Florida cover some of that salary.

7. Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars have reportedly expressed an interest in Bryan McCabe. Since the Florida Panthers are mostly interested in draft picks for the trades they make, this could be a good deal for the Stars.

Plus, they wouldn't be committed to McCabe for very long.

6. Montreal Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens have also reportedly been interested in Bryan McCabe. They have made some moves, but may be looking to make some more if the deal is right.

5. Anaheim Ducks

The Anaheim Ducks have been interested in Bryan McCabe. This may be an unlikely trade since the Anaheim Ducks landed Francois Beauchemin from the Toronto Maple Leafs, but you never know.

The team may be looking for a boost on defense with goaltender Jonas Hiller out for a bit.

4. Ottawa Senators

The Ottawa Senators have struggled this season, their defense included. They have made a few moves already and speculation is that they'll make more to improve their roster.

They should look into Bryan McCabe for an improvement to their defense, especially with Sergei Gonchar out.

3. San Jose Sharks

The San Jose Sharks were most interested in Tomas Kaberle from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Now that Kaberle has been dealt to Boston, the Sharks are reportedly interested in Bryan McCabe.

The Panthers supposedly want a first round draft pick for McCabe, so perhaps the Sharks will give it to them.

2. Washington Capitals

SAN JOSE, CA - FEBRUARY 17: Nicklas Backstrom #19 of the Washington Capitals celebrates with teammates John Carlson #74 and Alex Ovechkin #8 after scoring a goal against the San Jose Sharks in the third period during an NHL hockey game at the HP Pavilion

This one is quite out there. However, the Washington Capitals are looking for a defenseman. Bryan McCabe has played against them in the Southeast division so he knows what is required.

Plus, he could really excel for a better team than the Panthers.

1. New York Rangers

NEW YORK, NY - FEBRUARY 17: Brandon Dubinsky #17 of the New York Rangers is congratulated by his teammates for his goal in the third period against the Los Angeles Kings on February 17, 2011 in New York City. The Rangers defeated the Kings 4-3 after a sh

Of all the prospective teams, the New York Rangers are reportedly the most interested. The Rangers were very interested in Sheldon Souray, but apparently changed their minds after watching him play in the AHL.

They are interested in McCabe, but according to ESPN's Pierre LeBrun, "won't pay a Kaberle price for him," so they won't give up a top prospect, a first round draft pick and conditional draft pick for him.

The Panthers should be happy if they can get one of the first two for McCabe though.
