St. Louis Blues: The 7 Best Goals of David Perron's Career

After receiving a huge blind-side hit by Joe Thornton on November 4, 2010, St. Louis Blues forward David Perron acquired a concussion and spent 394 days out, missing 97 games dealing with its aftermath.

It was a long road (even longer than Sidney Crosby's) toward becoming 100 percent, and on Saturday, against the Chicago Blackhawks, Perron played in his first NHL game in more than a year.

He scored a goal in his first game back on his first shot, which should be no surprise, considering he is one of the most talented players in the NHL.

Perron is an excellent skater and phenomenal skick-handler, and his on-ice creativity and hockey sense are reminiscent of Pavel Datsyuk.

So, in celebration of his return to the NHL and to showcase his skill level, here are the seven best goals of his tenure in the league.   

Great goal in international play—Perron dangles a defender and puts the puck in the net after shooting between his legs while facing away from the goal.

After being concussed by a Joe Thornton hit, Perron came back to finish the game and score on a wonderful no-look backhand before being sidelined for the next 13 months.

Perron works his way up the ice and agilely avoids a check, which results in a collision between two 'Hawks players.

This sets up a give-and-go with Oshie, who passes it back to Perron to snipe his second of the game.
