March Madness 2011: The Blind Resume Test
March Madness 2011: The Blind Resume Test

Selection Sunday is upon us and in a few hours, we will know the fate of every bubble team. But for now, it is time to look at each bubble team's blind resume, meaning that you will see the team's stats without knowing who they belong to.
This technique is commonly used by bracketologists and perhaps members of the actual NCAA Tournament Selection Committee.
Blind resumes give a more unbiased way of determining who deserves to make the Big Dance and who does not.
For each team, you will see their overall record, strength of schedule (SOS), RPI, their record against teams with RPIs in the top 50, and how they finished in their last 12 games.
It is up to you to decide which teams are most deserving of making the NCAA Tournament.
The teams that will be used in these resumes are Alabama, Boston College, Clemson, Georgia, Saint Mary's, USC, and Virginia Tech.
Those seven schools are all considered to be on the bubble and anyone behind them don't have a realistic chance of making the Big Dance.
