Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Top 5 Goals
Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Top 5 Goals
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is no stranger to scoring goals that blow your mind.
The Swede's effort on Wednesday against England did just that.
Ibrahimovic may have changed clubs at an alarming rate, but no matter where the forward goes, he scores spectacular goals.
With that being said, it is quite difficult to pick out just five of Zlatan's best goals because he has had so many at both the club and international levels.
Here is my best attempt to shorten Ibrahimovic's large catalog of stunning goals to just five.
A Young Ibra Fools an Entire Defense
Zlatan Ibrahimovic played at Ajax for three seasons and his best goal for the Dutch giants came against NAC Breda.
This is the type of goal that we are used to seeing from a player like Lionel Messi, but back when Ibrahimovic was getting his career going, he scored goals like Messi does now.
Although this is not an overhead kick goal like we are used to from the Swede, this goal gives a sense of his true class when the ball is on his feet and he is trying to elude defenders.
Long Distance Goal Against Benfica
The next stop after Ajax on the Zlatan Ibrahimovic career path was Juventus.
Zlatan spent two seasons at the Old Lady of Italian football and while there he produced this stunning goal against Benfica.
On this goal, Ibrahimovic heads the ball into possession, takes one touch and then launches this rocket into the goal.
The most impressive part about this goal is that he somehow slotted the ball just inside the near post.
Back Heel at Euro 2004
Ibrahimovic is no stranger to scoring spectacular goals at the European Championships.
In his first Euros back in 2004, Ibra delivered a flash of brilliance with this back heel flick against Italy.
The goal came from basically nothing as Italy were unable to clear the ball and no other Swedes could get a good shot on goal.
That is where Zlatan comes in and he takes care of the rest to score for Sweden.
Free Kick Bullet Against Zaragoza
If you were wondering how good Zlatan is on free kicks, check out this goal from when he played for Barcelona.
The Swedish forward only played one season for the Catalan giants but he left a memory with Barca fans for decades to come.
This free kick against Real Zaragoza had so much pace that it went off the hands of the keeper and into the back of the net.
Overhead Kick Golazo Against England
The other four goals on this list can be listed in any order as long as they are behind this goal.
Ibra's overhead kick goal against England completed a four-goal day for the Swede in the friendly.
After Joe Hart failed to clear the ball away from danger, Ibra made the England keeper pay and scored on one of the most spectacular goals you will ever see in your lifetime.
