NFL Picks 2023: Early Week 15 Odds to Exploit after Final Week 14 Results

Week 14 was another impactful one for the NFL. The Buffalo Bills beat the Chiefs in Kansas City, the Dallas Cowboys handled the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cincinnati Bengals won their second straight game with a backup quarterback, and the Denver Broncos pulled within a game of the AFC West lead.
A lot will be decided over the final month of the season, and the upcoming Week 15 schedule is loaded with pivotal matchups.
We'll dive into a few of those matchups, along with the early odds, to identify a few enticing bets to consider for Week 15.

San Francisco 49ers -14 at Arizona Cardinals

Typically, a line this large would be unattractive for a divisional matchup. However, the San Francisco 49ers have established themselves as perhaps the lone dominant team in the NFL since their Week 9 bye. San Francisco had some early issues with the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, but they pulled away for a 12-point margin of victory.
San Francisco should have fewer problems with the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15. While Arizona has shown a lot of fight this season and did upset the Pittsburgh Steelers two weeks ago, they don't have a roster loaded with playoff-caliber talent.
This is especially true on defense, where Arizona has allowed an average of 25.4 points per game.
The 49ers won by 19 points in the first meeting, and while Arizona will have quarterback Kyler Murray for the rematch, it doesn't have the playmakers to keep pace with Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffrey and Co.
Also, this is a critical game for San Francisco, and Kyle Shanahan should have his squad prepared to win it convincingly. Like the 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are 10-3. San Francisco owns the head-to-head tiebreakers over both teams, but it cannot afford a loss if it hopes to control the NFC's No. 1 seed.
Los Angeles Rams -7 Versus Washington Commanders

Don't be surprised to see this line expand over the course of the week. The Los Angeles Rams have reemerged as a potential playoff threat in the NFC, thanks to Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua and their passing game.
The Rams just took the Baltimore Ravens to overtime on the road in Week 14, and they might have won if not for Tylan Wallace's punt-return touchdown in the extra period. Stafford and the Rams were that good against a very talented Baltimore defense.
This week, the Rams will be back in Los Angeles and hosting a Washington Commanders team that has struggled mightily against the pass. Washington ranks dead-last in net yards per pass attempt, passing yards allowed, passing touchdowns allowed and points allowed.
The emergence of Kyren Williams as an every-down back will allow L.A. to keep Washington's defense off-balance. Stafford and his collection of downfield playmakers will do the rest.
Schematically, this is a brutal matchup for the Commanders. While Sam Howell and Washington's passing attack may be good enough to keep things interesting early, Los Angeles has the potency needed to eventually run away with it.
Baltimore Ravens -3.5 at Jacksonville Jaguars

If you haven't gotten many chances to watch the Ravens this season, you may not realize just how efficient Lamar Jackson has been as a passer under offensive coordinator Todd Monken.
Jackson has completed 66.8 percent of his passes and has formed strong connections with new receivers Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham Jr. Against the Rams on Sunday, he threw for 316 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.
That's bad news for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have lost to backup quarterbacks in consecutive weeks. On Sunday, Jacksonville surrendered 311 passing yards and three touchdowns (with one INT) to Joe Flacco, who wasn't even on an NFL roster a few weeks ago.
While the Jags' offense is potent enough as long as Trevor Lawrence is under center, it suffered a major blow when Christian Kirk landed on injured reserve with a groin injury. Jacksonville simply doesn't have the depth to keep pace with Baltimore, given its defensive deficiencies.
And while the Jags will have home-field advantage here, that hasn't meant a whole lot in 2023. Jacksonville is just 2-4 at EverBank Stadium this season.
