It's almost playoff time, spring football fans! The final week of the 2023 XFL regular season is this weekend, and the postseason slate is nearly set.

The D.C. Defenders have already clinched the XFL North and will host the division championship on Sunday, April 30. The Houston Roughnecks have clinched the South and will host its division title game one day earlier.

The St. Louis Battlehawks and Seattle Sea Dragons are still alive in the North and hold identical 6-3 records. St. Louis and Seattle also split the regular-season series, so if both teams win this weekend, it will come down to a tiebreaker that won't be set until all teams have played.

The Arlington Renegades hold a one-game lead over the San Antonio Brahmas in the South and are in with a win. The Orlando Guardians and Vegas Vipers have officially been eliminated.

While the final week won't be meaningful for every team, fans should be treated to plenty of exciting football. Here's everything you need to know for the final slate, including scheduling information, odds and updated fantasy rankings.

Week 10 Analysis

The Roughnecks and Defenders didn't rest starters in Week 9 despite having already locked up playoff spots. However, they could take a different approach in Week 10, since both teams have already secured home-field advantage for the semifinals.

Unsurprisingly, D.C. is only a slight favorite while Houston is actually an underdog in Week 10.

It wouldn't be a shock to see D.C.'s second team handle San Antonio, but backing the defenders is risky. Houston hasn't played particularly well as of late, which could make backing Arlington the smart play.

St. Louis and Seattle both need to win to get in—though the tiebreaker will leave one of them out—and both should be expected to win big against the league's two worst teams.

Not much has changed in the fantasy landscape in recent weeks, though it's worth noting that the Defenders have seemingly changed offensive philosophies. While D.C. won its early games by playing stout defense and running the ball, it has opened up the passing offense down the stretch. Jordan Ta'amu has since emerged as one of the top fantasy options because of it.

The question this week is how much Ta'amu may play. Backup and change-of-pace quarterback D'Eriq King might be worth starting over Ta'amu this week.

Ben DiNucci is still the standard-bearer in fantasy because of the Sea Dragons' wide-open run-and-shoot offense. Seattle receivers like Jahcour Pearson, Blake Jackson and Juwan Green are also quite valuable in daily fantasy sports (DFS) play.

While the Battlehawks passing game remains potent, quarterback AJ McCarron has been hampered by a shoulder injury. He didn't play in Week 8 and performed poorly (for him) in last week's loss to the Sea Dragons. He did throw for 186 yards and a touchdown but also had two interceptions.

It's hard to knock McCarron too far down the rankings because he remains one of the most reliable signal-callers. However, we'll give Renegades signal-caller Luis Perez the No. 2 spot this week.

Perez threw for 335 yards, one touchdown and one interception last week.

One rising running back to watch this week is Orlando's Devin Darrington. While the Guardians fell to the Brahmas, Darrington was a star. He rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown and caught one pass.

The usual standouts top the receiver rankings, and as we've said most of the season, only a handful of tight ends are even worth a look in DFS play. Managers not starting Sal Cannella, Cody Latimer or Alizé Mack are making a mistake.
