Predicting Every WWE Feud For Roman Reigns in 2024
Predicting Every WWE Feud For Roman Reigns in 2024

Even as 2024 gets underway, one thing remains the same: the world of WWE revolving around Roman Reigns.
The undisputed WWE universal champion has had a stranglehold on SmackDown since kicking off his historic run in August 2020 and has dominated the company as a whole in that time.
An elite few stars have posed a legitimate threat to his lengthy title reign, but ultimately, no one has been able to dethrone him. The Bloodline consistently having a heavy presence in his matches has given him the advantage on countless occasions, but all signs point to his era coming to an end sooner rather than later.
In the last month alone, The Tribal Chief has made enemies out of CM Punk, The Rock, Randy Orton and AJ Styles. That isn't counting his unresolved rivalries with Cody Rhodes and LA Knight, either.
Reigns has a busy year ahead, whether he's holding the prestigious prize or not. Although his character has started to grow stale in the eyes of the audience, he has several storylines lined up that are sure to make matters more interesting again going forward.
These are the five feuds we can expect to see him have in 2024.
Randy Orton
Randy Orton, LA Knight and AJ Styles will do battle in a Triple Threat match on Friday's edition of SmackDown to determine Reigns' next Undisputed WWE Universal Championship challenger at the Royal Rumble.
And Orton makes the most sense of the three competitors.
Knight previously lost to The Tribal Chief at Crown Jewel, whereas Styles can be saved for later on. Orton is the hot hand at the moment coming off his highly anticipated return at Survivor Series and should get his opportunity before anyone else does.
Lest we forget, it was The Bloodline who put Orton on the shelf for a year and a half in May 2022, so The Viper can't move until he settles his score with Reigns, even if that means falling short of capturing the top title.
Perhaps Solo Sikoa costing Orton the win could be what puts them on a collision course toward WrestleMania 40, but either way, the titleholder must escape with his reign intact in order for this next marquee match to come to fruition.
The Rock
For nearly a decade, Reigns vs. The Rock has been an unfathomable fantasy match due to the latter's unwillingness to commit. But based on what went down on Monday's Raw, it finally appears to be on the brink of becoming a reality.
Interestingly, it may not be happening on The Grandest Stage of Them All as many envisioned, and nor should it.
That spot should be reserved for a certain star who will be discussed in the next slide. Rock being a "filler" challenger of sorts for Reigns wouldn't typically be ideal, but this is the situation WWE finds itself in on the Road to WrestleMania.
It's now or never, and it would be best to book it for the major stadium show in Australia on February 24 than bump it back to 'Mania at the expense of someone on the active roster. Holding off on it any later than that would be a risk as well.
The story of Reigns against Rock essentially writes itself. The Great One is back to lay claim to the Head of the Table moniker, only to fall to Reigns in the end and "acknowledge" him in the process.
It's a must-see attraction for Elimination Chamber, but regardless of where it takes place, the outcome is hardly in doubt.
Cody Rhodes
One year removed from his devastating loss at WrestleMania 39, Cody Rhodes is ready to finish the story this time around.
In retrospect, there was little benefit to Reigns retaining that night and holding the gold for another year. The Tribal Chief walking out of 'Mania this year still the champ against Rhodes would be even more egregious.
The American Nightmare proved himself long ago as the guy to take the torch from Reigns and run with it. Him closing The Show of Shows being crowned the new undisputed WWE universal champion would be nothing short of a surreal sight.
For Reigns, the end is only the beginning. Losing the title would kick off an intriguing new chapter in his career, putting him in a position he hasn't been in for years.
This is the only acceptable main event for WrestleMania 40, and the only acceptable outcome is Rhodes conquering Reigns and avenging his loss from last year in the process. The buildup to this bout should be something special.
AJ Styles
Although Reigns is practically a part-timer at this point, he has still been champion for almost four years, and therefore fans will need a break from him once he drops the strap.
That should involve him taking time off from television until at least SummerSlam, where there are a few potential opponents waiting in the wings to seek revenge. AJ Styles leads the list.
Rhodes is another option, assuming Reigns would want to get back the belt he could be losing at WrestleMania, but it might be best to have Rhodes beat Reigns at The Show of Shows and move on from that feud entirely.
A storyline with Styles would merely be designed to keep Reigns busy and to put him in the ring with a top talent from SmackDown.
Of course, anything can change in the 2024 WWE draft and almost anyone could face Reigns at SummerSlam, but giving Styles the spotlight would allow them to formally rekindle their rivalry from eight years ago.
If it doesn't end up happening on the Road to WrestleMania, SummerSlam season would work just as well.
Solo Sikoa
Solo Sikoa must be Reigns' "final boss" and the one to end The Bloodline once and for all, or at least officially exile the leader from the group.
It would be logical for this to occur after Reigns loses his precious prize at WrestleMania, the source of his power over Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline. Sikoa's betrayal of Reigns will undoubtedly make for a memorable moment.
While Reigns vs. Sikoa would be worthy of the SummerSlam stage, it would be wise for WWE to not rush into this rivalry and instead allow it to play out in the final stretch of the year heading into 2025.
In fact, Sikoa could have a repeat performance at Crown Jewel for the second straight year where he defeats Reigns in decisive fashion, much like he did John Cena. It would be an effective way of furthering Sikoa's singles push and simultaneously getting The Tribal Chief out of the championship mix.
Look for Sikoa to play a crucial role in Reigns' downfall in the coming months, culminating in a family-fueled feud with significant WrestleMania implications for next year.
