The 2025 Australian Open quarterfinals are set.

Four more men and women booked their spots in the final eight on Monday, including three seeded American players.

Madison Keys and Emma Navarro both made it through in the women's singles draw to join Coco Gauff in the quarters. There's the potential for all three to make the semifinals and for at least one of the finalists to be American.

Ben Shelton picked up a victory in the men's singles draw that added him to the American quarterfinal contingent alongside Tommy Paul.

None of the Americans left are viewed as the favorites to win the tournament, though.

Jannik Sinner, who won in four sets on Monday, and Aryna Sabalenka currently fill those roles in their respective brackets.

No. 1 Jannik Sinner def. No. 13 Holger Rune, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2

No. 8 Alex De Minaur def. Alex Michelsen, 6-0, 7-6 (5), 6-3

No. 21 Ben Shelton def. Gael Monfils, 7-6 (3), 6-7 (3), 7-6 (2), 1-0 (retired)

Lorenzo Sonego def. Learner Tien, 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1

Jannik Sinner produced another strong showing in Melbourne as the No. 1 seed.

The Italian, who took down Holger Rune in four sets, has only dropped two sets through four rounds.

The reigning champion at both hard-court majors faces Australian Alex De Minaur in the quarterfinals.

De Minaur eliminated one of the two unseeded Americans left in the draw, Alex Michelsen, in straight sets on Monday.

De Minaur reached the quarterfinals at each of the last four Grand Slams, but he has not gotten past that stage.

Ben Shelton is in the final eight for the second time in three years in Australia. He has an easy quarterfinal matchup on paper against Lorenzo Sonego.

Sonego hadn't made it past the fourth round at any major prior to the 2025 Australian Open.

The hope for Shelton is that he has a quick match against Sonego and that Sinner and De Minaur battle in four or five sets.

That would set the American up for his best shot to take down one of the top-10 seeds and land in the final.

No. 2 Iga Swiatek def. Eva Lys, 6-0, 6-1

No. 19 Madison Keys def. No. 6 Elena Rybakina, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3

No. 8 Emma Navarro def. No. 9 Daria Kasatkina, 6-4, 5-7, 7-5

No. 26 Elina Svitolina def. Veronika Kudermetova, 6-4, 6-1

Iga Swiatek, Madison Keys and Elina Svitolina are back in a familiar place at major tournaments.

Swiatek is in her eighth Grand Slam quarterfinal since the start of the 2022 season. Most of her success has come at the French Open, but she does have one semifinal appearance in Australia.

Swiatek's quarterfinal opponent is rising star Emma Navarro, who is now into her third straight Grand Slam quarterfinal.

The eighth-seeded American has the least amount of Grand Slam experience among the four winners from Monday. Navarro battled in three sets to take down Daria Kasatkina in the only battle of top-10 seeds on Monday.

Keys took down No. 6 seed Elena Rybakina to reach her 11th Grand Slam quarterfinal. She'll face Svitolina in the final eight. Svitolina advanced to her 12th major quarterfinal with a straight-set win on Monday.

All four of the women's quarterfinals feature seeded players. The last three Australian Open women's singles draws had at least two unseeded players in the final eight.
