Rock Has Hijacked The Main Event, Bianca Belair Rightly Dethroned, More Raw Takes

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez dethroned Bianca Belair and Naomi.

The February 24 edition of Raw on Netflix at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati set the stage for WWE Elimination Chamber this weekend.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez dethroned Bianca Belair and Naomi to become the new women's tag team champions.

CM Punk and Logan Paul nearly came to blows while opening the show, and Seth Rollins tried to convince Cody Rhodes to stay away from The Rock.

Lyra Valkyria successfully defended her Women's Intercontinental Championship against Dakota Kai, but Ivy Nile ruined her celebration.

A pair of title matches and memorable promos highlighted the final show before WWE heads to Toronto.

The Rock Overshadowing Undisputed WWE Championship Scene

The Rock shook up the road to WrestleMania 41 on Friday's SmackDown when he asked Cody Rhodes to be "his" champion and give him his "soul."

While it was an awkward promo to watch live, it certainly added an interesting element to The Show of Shows on April 19-20.

In particular, it set the stage for a possible heel turn by The American Nightmare or his opponent at 'Mania by becoming The Rock's champion.

On the road to Elimination Chamber, though, this promo has overshadowed the field of challengers.

Suddenly, the unique reasons Seth Rollins and CM Punk have for wanting to face Rhodes at WrestleMania have been tied up in what The Final Boss wants.

While The Visionary and The Best in the World have some interesting history with The Rock, their personal reasons are no longer the strongest driving force toward 'Mania.

This extends to Logan Paul, John Cena, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest as well, who cannot sell their own case without mentioning The Final Boss.

Even with Rock unlikely to wrestle again soon, the entire men's main event scene must find a way to live in his shadow on the road to 'Mania.

Don't Be Fooled By CM Punk vs. Logan Paul Tease

Monday Night RAW

The road to WrestleMania remains uncertain for both CM Punk and Logan Paul ahead of the men's Elimination Chamber.

The two have interacted multiple times while building up Saturday's PLE, but WWE cannot afford to pair them up for The Show of Shows.

These interactions would make sense for a B-level PPV down the road, but The Best in the World needs a bigger angle for 'Mania than The Maverick.

The most interesting rivalries for Punk right now are Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

This will be Punk's first WrestleMania in the ring since his return to WWE, and Paul is not going to compare to the other options.

The Maverick has shown he can build heat for any feud, and he has plenty of interesting options remains for The Grandest Stage of Them All, notably AJ Styles.

Women's International Championship Scene is Finally Heating Up

Monday Night RAW

Lyra Valkyria finally defended her Women's Intercontinental Championship and met her next challenger.

It took too long to start this story moving, but Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile made strong cases for staying in the title scene.

Nile will get another opportunity to sell her worth when she wrestles The Valkyrie soon. It will be a big test for a woman who has rarely wrestled on Raw.

This is why Valkyria holds the gold, though. She can bring the most out of her opponents. She made Kai look great throughout and will try to do the same with Nile.

Hopefully, this is a sign that WWE has a clearer plan on the horizon for the women's Intercontinental Championship scene.

Bianca Belair Freed Up for WrestleMania Rivalry

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez have needed the Women's Tag Team Championships for a while. Their time has finally come ahead of WrestleMania 41.

However, this is not only a valuable moment for The Judgment Day, because it also benefits former champions Bianca Belair and Naomi.

Without the gold, The EST of WWE and The Glow are more likely to win in the women's Elimination Chamber on Saturday night.

In particular, Rhea Ripley vs. Belair, the most exciting option for the Raw women's division, is ready to go.

WWE can now put two of its top women against one another and heat back up the Women's World Championship.

The Return of 'Demon' Finn Bálor on the Horizon

The end of the original Judgment Day was supposed to herald Finn Bálor's return to the top of the card. Instead, he has struggled to stand out in recent months.

Frequent losses have hurt his credibility to the point that it's hard to believe he will win gold again in WWE.

However, this week's Raw set up an intriguing angle that might get The Prince back on track.

Following a dominant performance from Bron Breakker against Dominik Mysterio, Bálor stepped up to make a statement at the expense of the intercontinental champion.

During his conflict with Breakker, WWE teased the return of an old character for the Irishman: The Demon.

While WWE struggled to regularly book The Demon, Bálor was always most protected under the paint. If he employed that persona again, he could finally go on a win streak.

WWE may even use this chance to move the Intercontinental Championship. Bálor and AJ Styles have both stepped up to Breakker, and either could dethrone him at 'Mania.
