Intercontinental Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio vs. Finn Bálor

The tension between Bálor and Mysterio reached a boiling point entering WrestleMania 41, with their desire to be champion threatening the future of The Judgment Day.
What unfolded on the grand stage did not help matters.
Mysterio delivered a frog splash to Bálor and pinned his tag team partner to win the Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal 4-Way Match also involving Bron Breakker and Penta.
Bálor laughed off frustration, telling Mysterio and his Judgment Day teammates that "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas," but the way he looked at Mysterio's newly won title suggested he is not over the frustration and disappointment.
Having spent months watching Mysterio and Liv Morgan make decisions for Judgment Day, freezing him out, Bálor has appeared to be on his way out. That will inevitably happen and when it does, WWE will have no choice but to book that one-on-one showdown at some point in 2025.
Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair

Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair have not squared off in a singles match since NXT TakeOver: Portland in February of 2020. This, despite being two of the top Superstars in all of WWE and among the best wrestlers on the roster.
WWE officials have carefully kept them apart until this year's WrestleMania, where their issues with each other ultimately cost them a chance to defeat Iyo Sky for the Women's World Championship.
Ripley vs. Belair is a premium live event main event, a showdown between two generational talents that can carry the top of a card for either Raw or SmackDown, and be serve as a reminder that the women's division is capable of headlining in today's WWE.
Add to that rumors of the return of WWE Evolution, the all-women's premium live event, and you have even more reason for the company to explore booking that match here in 2025.
Roman Reigns and CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker

Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman shockingly forged an alliance at the conclusion of WrestleMania, with The Wise Man betraying best friend CM Punk and Tribal Chief Roman Reigns en route to helping The Visionary earn one of the biggest wins of his career.
Just 24 hours later, we witnessed the foundation for what figures to be the next great chapter in Heyman's Hall of Fame career with the recruitment of Bron Breakker to join him and Rollins in what looks to be a hostile takeover of the Raw brand. Breakker and Rollins laid out Reigns and Punk to close out the show, setting in motion a high-profile tag match that should take place sooner rather than later.
Whether Reigns' schedule allows for it remains to be seen but that is a potential main event tag match that does not need a championship at the center of it to encourage fans to tune into Peacock or Netflix for a premium live event.
Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena II

Cody Rhodes had to lose to John Cena so that the retiring Superstar and freshly turned heel could win historic world title No. 17 and build some momentum as the company's top bad guy.
Rhodes also must beat Cena to regain the title later in 2025.
The American Nightmare needs the validation that comes from beating Cena. While Reigns bridged the gap between Cena and Rhodes, it is the latter of the two that represented the last great babyface hero in WWE.
While there are countless metrics that suggest Rhodes has already picked that ball up and carried it over the last two years, there is something about the visual of him beating Cena that will unequivocally announce to the wrestling world that we are in the Nightmare Era.
SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, or at Survivor Series at Petco Park in San Diego, would be appropriate settings for the rematch. Hopefully, that match would be serve as the emphasis for Cena's turn back to the light so that he can end his career the way he spent most of it: as a hero to the WWE Universe.
