With all four No. 1 seeds eliminated from the field, Connecticut is now favored to win the 2023 NCAA men's basketball tournament.

Per the latest odds from DraftKings Sportsbook, the Huskies have +320 odds (bet $100 to win $320) going into the Elite Eight.

Texas is a close second at +360, followed by Gonzaga (+500) and Creighton (+550).

The No. 2 Longhorns are the highest-seeded team still in the field. They made easy work of Xavier with an 83-71 win in the Sweet 16 and have won their first three tournament games by an average of 12.3 points.

Connecticut, No. 4 in the West Region, is the lower seed going into the Elite Eight against No. 3 Gonzaga. Head coach Dan Hurley's squad has three consecutive double-digit wins, including a dominant 88-65 victory over Arkansas on Thursday.

The Huskies have won nine of their last 10 games overall dating back to the regular season. Six of those victories have been by at least 12 points.

Gonzaga, still chasing its first national title in program history, has been playing with fire in its past two games. The Bulldogs nearly blew an eight-point lead in the final 65 seconds against UCLA in the Sweet 16 before Julian Strawther's three with 7.2 seconds led them to a 79-76 win.

Before getting to the Sweet 16, Gonzaga held on for an 84-81 win over TCU in the second round.

Florida Atlantic has the lowest odds to win the national title of any team still standing, but it's coming off an impressive showing against Tennessee. The Vols' 55 points were their fewest in a game since a 46-43 win over Auburn on Feb. 4.

The Owls will take on Kansas State on Saturday looking for their first appearance in the Final Four.

Miami and San Diego State took down arguably the top two teams in the tournament on Friday with wins over Alabama and Houston. The Hurricanes' offense lit up the scoreboard with 89 points on 51.7 percent shooting from the field.

San Diego State held Alabama to 32.4 percent shooting overall and a 3-of-27 record from three-point range in a 71-64 win.

Both the Aztecs and Hurricanes are seeking their first-ever appearance in the Final Four. Miami will take on Texas in the Elite Eight on Sunday, and San Diego State follows with a showdown against Creighton .

Boy oh boy. Following a wild Championship Sunday, the Super Bowl is set.

Despite a Patrick Mahomes shoddy ankle and Travis Kelce back spasms, the Kansas City Chiefs clawed past the Cincinnati Bengals to secure the AFC Championship on a game-winning field goal. The Philadelphia Eagles, meanwhile, punched their ticket to Arizona's State Farm Stadium by beating an injury-laden San Francisco 49ers 31-7.

Now, the big game's storylines are flowing and the odds are already shifting.

Within just an hour of Kansas City's victory, the early Super Bowl lines had fluctuated across, and within, sportsbooks. At first, the Chiefs were widely a 1.5-point favorite and the over/under was 49.5. That spread varied by about three full points in both directions depending on where you looked and the over saw around half-point movement.

At the time of writing, DraftKings has settled on Philadelphia as 2-point favorites and the over/under at 49.5.

Given the health uncertainty surrounding Kansas City and the Eagles' strong Sunday showing, it should be no surprise that the spread shifted toward Philadelphia. Millions saw one, seemingly hurt team win by 3, while a seemingly healthy team won by 24—so it's understandable that the public's early money was placed on the Eagles.

In terms of the spread and moneylines, bettors should expect even more variation as February 12 approaches. With nearly two weeks off, injury updates—particularly for Mahomes's ankle—could push action back toward Kansas City.

For those who are confident that Pat's ankle will bounce back and that Kelce's back questions will be easily remedied, the +130 Chiefs moneyline should be appealing. Given how well they were able to perform in the AFC Championship, at the height of those injury concerns, it has to be the most intriguing value at present.

As for the over/under, Vegas has certainly set a difficult line. But, given recent Super Bowl history, and 2023's playoffs, the under feels like the play at the moment. Three of the past five Super Bowls have finished below this year's early 49.5-point mark. Further, of Kansas City and Philadelphia's combined four games this postseason, none have surpassed a 47-point total.

Nonetheless, the two recent Super Bowl totals that finished above 49.5 points both involved these two clubs. The Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41-33 in 2018 and the Chiefs beat the 49ers 31-20 in 2020. If Mahomes and Kelce recover quickly enough, the over could be in play. If health concerns aren't eased, the line is likely to move down.

At present, there are no easy answers for this year's Super Bowl. Practically everything is riding on the sprained ankle of 2022-23's projected MVP. That was the case for the AFC Championship, too, though, where Mahomes delivered 334 total yards, two touchdowns and a W.

If you buy in that Pat will be healthy and that Andy Reid will want to get spicy against his former Eagles, the Chiefs moneyline and the over are the early plays. If you think the ankle is going to be a problem, look to the Philadelphia spread and the under. Regardless, keep an eye out, because those lines are going to be moving with every injury report.

Michael Jordan never won three straight NBA MVPs. Neither did Kareem Abdul-Jabbar or LeBron James.

Nikola Jokić, however, is now the odds-on favorite to pull something off the three greatest basketball players in NBA history never could.

FanDuel Sportsbook currently lists Jokić as a strong -130 favorite (bet $130 to win $100) to take home the 2022-23 MVP as he continues putting up one of the greatest offensive seasons for a big man in league history.

The Denver Nuggets star comes into Thursday with averages of 25.1 points, 11.0 rebounds and 9.9 assists. He's on the precipice of becoming the first big to ever average a triple-double over the course of a full season and is doing so while shooting a monster 62.9 percent from the field.

Luka Dončić is second in the odds at +450, while Jayson Tatum (+850) and Joel Embiid (+850) are the only other players at odds lower than 10-1.

From a pure numbers standpoint, it's impossible to argue against Jokić's candidacy. He's an offensive ecosystem unto himself, whipping passes around the perimeter, dominating on the low block and knocking down threes at an above-average rate. The Nuggets are also the No. 1 seed in the West and are second behind only the Boston Celtics in overall record at 34-15.

That said, there will be some fans who will be frustrated with the historical precedent of Jokić winning a third straight MVP. The only two players to pull off the feat are Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain. Russell and Chamberlain were both champions when they won their third straight.

Jokić hasn't even made an NBA Finals. While that may have more to do with injuries suffered by his teammates, it would be fair to say a player like LeBron has dragged worse teams to the Finals while not winning their "deserved" number of MVPs.

There may be some voters who flat-out refuse to vote for Jokić to avoid setting the historic precedent.

Houston Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña is the clear favorite to win this year's World Series MVP award based on the latest DraftKings Sportsbook odds.

The rookie sports +105 odds ($100 bet to win $105). He's followed by Astros starting pitcher Framber Valdez (+700) and Houston third baseman Alex Bregman (+850).

A pair of Philadelphia Phillies in outfielders Bryce Harper (+950) and Kyle Schwarber (+1600) round out the top five.

The Astros lead the Phillies three games to two in the best-of-seven World Series thanks largely to Peña, who has eight hits in 21 at-bats for a .381 batting average. His 1.028 OPS also leads the team.

Peña has contributed in each of the Astros' three wins. His RBI double got Houston on the board first in a 5-2 win over Philadelphia in Game 2. He hit a single and later scored in the Astros' five-run fifth inning in Game 4. Finally, the Dominican Republic native went 3-for-4 with a run and two RBI in the Astros' 3-2 win in Game 5 thanks to a first-inning RBI single and a fourth-inning solo homer.

The 25-year-old played an instrumental role in helping the Astros win 106 games en route to the American League pennant by virtue of his 22 home runs, 63 RBI and .715 OPS in place of Carlos Correa, the team's longtime shortstop who left in free agency for the Minnesota Twins.

Peña and the Astros will look to finish the Phillies off Saturday in Houston for Game 6. Zack Wheeler will start for Philadelphia, and Valdez will get the ball for the Astros.

Losers of three straight games and with a trip to Buffalo on the Week 8 schedule, the Green Bay Packers are currently listed as 10.5-point underdogs at DraftKings Sportsbook for next Sunday's game against the Bills.

Ben Fawkes of VSiN reported it marks the first time in Aaron Rodgers' career he'll start a game as a double-digit underdog.

Green Bay's offensive woes continued in Sunday's 23-21 loss to the Washington Commanders, as Rodgers was limited to 194 yards on 23-of-35 passing. He has not topped 255 passing yards in a game all season and ranks 26th among quarterbacks in QBR (40.5).

"I'm not worried about this squad. In fact, this might be the best thing for us," Rodgers told reporters. "This week, nobody's going to give us a chance, going to Buffalo on Sunday Night Football, with a chance to get exposed. Shoot, this might be the best thing for us."

The oddsmakers have plenty of reason to back the Bills. Buffalo looks like the Super Bowl favorite through the first seven weeks of the season, reeling off a 5-1 record and coming off a win over the Kansas City Chiefs. In fact, the Bills are so historically backed by the books that they made Patrick Mahomes a home underdog for the first time in his career in Week 6.

With a bye week getting the Bills back to as close to full health as they've been since the opening of the season, Rodgers and Co. are going to have an uphill battle at covering 10.5 points—let alone pulling off an upset win.

That said, Rodgers is the back-to-back reigning NFL MVP for a reason. He's pulled off far bigger wins against far better teams in far more dire circumstances.

For what it's worth, that spread also means the Packers sit at +420 odds (bet $100 to win $420) to win the game outright. Bettors may never get a chance to roll the dice on Rodgers at +420 again the remainder of his career, so this may be a come-up chance of the season.

The race for the 2022-23 NBA championship appears to be a toss-up on paper as the regular-season opener rapidly approaches.

The latest FanDuel Sportsbook odds Friday have the Milwaukee Bucks atop the ledger at +550 ($100 bet to win $550).

They are closely followed by the Boston Celtics (+600), Los Angeles Clippers (+700) and Golden State Warriors (+700). The Brooklyn Nets (+900) and Phoenix Suns (+1000) round out the top six.

The leaders of the pack differ throughout various sportsbooks, as noted by ESPN's David Purdum.

There is no consensus favorite to win the NBA title at sportsbooks.

Out of seven U.S. books, two have the Warriors, two have the Celtics, one has the Celtics and Warriors as co-favs, one has the Bucks and another has the Clippers.

It's easy to see why there's difference regarding the top quartet of teams in the Bucks, C's, Warriors and Clippers.

The Bucks were the 2020-21 champions and appeared set for a title defense before All-Star Khris Middleton was lost for the 2022 playoffs with a sprained MCL.

The Celtics are the defending Eastern Conference champions, and the Warriors are the reigning NBA titleholders.

Meanwhile, the Clippers will welcome back superstar Kawhi Leonard, who returns after a year away because of a torn ACL. They also added John Wall to their backcourt.

Overall, this looks like a wide-open season for the NBA crown. The campaign will start with a two-game Tuesday slate when the 76ers visit the Celtics and then the Warriors hosting the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Promotion Entities are not responsible for lost, late, stolen, damaged, incomplete, invalid, un-intelligible, garbled, delayed or misdirected entries – all of which will be void. RANDOM DRAWING: Potential winner will be randomly selected on or about 11:50 AM ET on September 11, 2022 from among all eligible entries received (“Random Drawing”), and announced at approximately 12:00 PM (noon) ET during the live Bleacher Report/     DraftKings, broadcast. Each valid entry will have an equal chance of winning. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. The selected entrant is considered a potential winner pending verification of his/her eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules.

1. PRIZE, APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”), AND ODDS OF WINNING: 

1. Prize (1).  The “Prize” is a four (4) day/ three (3) night trip for two (2) people (winner and one (1) adult guest of his/her choosing) to Las Vegas, Nevada. Prize includes round-trip coach class air transportation from a major commercial airport near winner’s residence (selected in Sponsor’s sole discretion) to Las Vegas, Nevada, transportation to and from the airport/hotel while in Las Vegas, a standard hotel room selected by the Sponsor (double occupancy) for the winner and one (1) adult guest, and the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) made payable to the winner.  Only one (1) Prize will be available in the Promotion. 

The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Prize is Four Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($4,400). The actual value of the Prize may vary depending on point of departure and fluctuations in the cost of air transportation. Any difference between the estimated ARV and the actual value of the Prize will not be awarded.

Food, ground transportation, parking, meals, and any and all other costs and expenses, including airline baggage fees, not expressly set forth in these Official Rules are not included in the Prize. The winner will be responsible for all gratuities, meals, ground transportation, and any other incidental costs or expenses not identified in these Official Rules. The winner’s guest must be at least 21 years of age (at time of travel) to participate in the Prize. The guest must execute liability/publicity releases prior to issuance of travel documents. If the winner elects to participate with no guest, no additional compensation will be awarded. Travel must be taken on dates specified by Sponsor. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary. If the winner resides within a 100-mile radius of Las Vegas, Nevada (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion), ground transportation may be provided in lieu of air transportation, and no compensation will be provided for any difference in Prize value. Travel dates are subject to availability; blackout dates and other restrictions may apply. The winner and guest are responsible for having valid travel documents including government identification and/or passports. Travel must be complete within one (1) year of award and booked at least 30 days in advance, except as otherwise permitted by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The winner and his/her guest hereby acknowledges that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance for any part of the Prize. The winner will be required to provide a major credit card upon hotel check-in, and all in-room charges will be charged to the credit card. Any damage to the room will be the responsibility of the winner. Sponsor and the Promotion Entities bear no responsibility if any event, element or detail of the Prize is canceled, postponed or becomes unavailable for any reason. Should any event, element or detail of the Prize become unavailable, the Sponsor shall have no obligation to the winner aside from providing the remaining portion of the Prize, minus any unavailable event, element or detail.

1. Odds Of Winning:  The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible Entries received.

1. General:  In no event will more than one (1) Prize will be awarded. If, for any reason, more Prize notifications are sent (or more claims are received) than the number of Prizes offered, as set forth in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right to award the intended number of prizes through a random drawing from among all eligible Prize claims received. Further, if, for any reason, including but not limited to an administrative, printing, production, computer or other error or due to technical difficulties or incorrect announcements of any kind, more winning messages are distributed, or more Prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded for any Prize according to these Official Rules, the intended Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified prize claims.  Prizes are not transferable and include only the items specifically listed as part of each Prize. No substitution or cash equivalent of Prize is permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If the Prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize or portion thereof with another Prize of equal or greater value. Any portion of the Prize not accepted by a winner will be forfeited. Federal, state, and local taxes on the Prize and any expenses relating to the acceptance of and use of the Prize not specified herein are the responsibility of the winner. Approximate retail values are as of the time these Official Rules were printed and the value of the Prize may fluctuate. A winner is not entitled to any difference between the ARV and the actual value of the Prize at the time the Prize is awarded. All other costs and expenses not expressly set forth herein shall be solely the winner’s responsibility. The Promotion Entities shall not be held responsible for any delays in awarding the Prize for any reason. Prize will only be awarded to a verified winner.

1. WINNER NOTIFICATION, AFFIDAVIT AND RELEASE:  After the Random Drawing, Sponsor will notify the potential winner by sending him/her a Direct Message on Instagram or via a message to his/her account on the B/R App instructions on how to redeem the Prize. The potential winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release (except where prohibited by law), and any other requested documents within five (5) business days from the date of attempted notification as set forth above or the Prize may be forfeited in its entirety.  If a potential winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, if a potential winner declines to accept the Prize, if Sponsor or Administrator is unable to contact a potential winner via Instagram messenger, direct message on Bleacher Report app, or e-mail address at the e-mail address provided by the potential winner when his/her account was created, if a potential winner fails to complete and return all documents within the time period specified, or if the notification set forth above is returned undeliverable, the Prize will be forfeited, and an alternative winner will be selected at random from the pool of Entries.  

THE WINNER WILL BE ISSUED A FORM 1099 FOR TAX PURPOSES IN THE AMOUNT OF THE ACTUAL RETAIL VALUE OF THE PRIZE AND THE WINNER MUST SUBMIT HIS/HER SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, AS REQUIRED BY LAW. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES IMPOSED ON THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRIZE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

INTERNET/LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating in this Promotion, Entrants agree that the Promotion Entities, Instagram and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, website providers and each their respective officers, directors, stockholders, employees, representatives, designees and agents (“Released Parties”) are not responsible for: 

(i) lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, postage due or undeliverable e-mail notifications, or telephone calls, or postal mail;

(ii) any computer, telephone, satellite, cable, network, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, or availability;

(iii) garbled, corrupt or jumbled transmissions, service provider/Internet/Website/UseNet accessibility, availability or traffic congestion;

(iv) any interruption, disadvantage or loss in the Promotion due to any connectivity issues including bandwidth, WiFi or cellular signal strength/speed/range, data outages, data buffering, etc.;

(v) disadvantages or losses in the Promotion due to mobile device operability issues such as low battery, screen timing-out, accidental button-presses, screen orientation issues, touchscreen malfunctions/inaccuracies, etc.;

(vi) disadvantages or losses in the Promotion due to software or internet browsers issues like rendering inaccuracies, compatibility discrepancies, VPN or network security-related blockages, etc.;

(vii) interruptions, loss or disadvantages in the Promotion due to device interruptions such as incoming calls, texts, messages, system/software updates, notifications or any kind, etc.;

(viii) any technical, mechanical, printing or typographical or other error;

(ix) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of registration information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information;

(x) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, technical error, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to the Promotion;

(xi) any injury or damage, whether personal or property, to Entrant’s or to any person's smartphone, tablet, computer, or similar devices related to or resulting from participating in the Promotion; and

Without limiting the foregoing, everything regarding this Promotion, including any Prize, is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

RELEASE: By participating in the Promotion, each Entrant releases and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Promotion Entities and Instagram from and against any and all costs, claims, damages, (including, without limitation, any special, incidental or consequential damages), or any other injury, whether due to negligence or otherwise, to person(s) or property (including, without limitation, death or violation of any personal rights, such as violation of right of publicity/privacy, libel, or slander), due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Promotion, or arising out of participation in any Promotion-related activity, or the receipt, delivery, use or misuse, of any Prize.

DISPUTES: EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, THE PROMOTION IS GOVERNED BY, AND WILL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH, THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN, AND THE FORUM AND VENUE FOR ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE IN THE COUNTY OF OAKLAND, MICHIGAN. IF THE CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM IS NOT OTHERWISE RESOLVED THROUGH DIRECT DISCUSSIONS OR MEDIATION, IT SHALL THEN BE RESOLVED BY FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION ADMINISTERED BY THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS ARBITRATION RULES AND PROCEDURES OR SUBSEQUENT VERSIONS THEREOF (“AAA RULES”). THE AAA RULES FOR SELECTION OF AN ARBITRATOR SHALL BE FOLLOWED, EXCEPT THAT THE ARBITRATOR SHALL BE EXPERIENCED AND LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN MICHIGAN. ALL PROCEEDINGS BROUGHT PURSUANT TO THIS SECTION WILL BE CONDUCTED IN OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN. THE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY PARTY BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES OR OTHER SUCH RELATED COSTS OF BRINGING A CLAIM, OR TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT OR SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR ANY OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF. ANY DEMAND FOR ARBITRATION MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR OF THE TIME THE CAUSE OF ACTION OCCURED, OR THE CAUSE OF ACTION SHALL BE FOREVER BARRED.

PUBLICITY RIGHTS AND PRIVACY POLICY: By participating in this Promotion, each Entrant agrees to allow the Sponsor and Sponsor’s designee the perpetual right to use his/her name, address (city and state), biographical information, likeness, picture and other information and content provided in connection with the Promotion for promotional, trade, commercial, advertising and publicity purposes in all media worldwide including, but not limited to, on television and the Internet, without notice, review or approval and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.  Any personally identifiable information collected during an Entrant’s participation in this Promotion will be collected by Administrator and/or Sponsor, or their designees, and used by Administrator, Sponsor and/or their designees: (i) as stated in the Privacy Policy located at https://wbd.com/privacy-notice and/or as otherwise disclosed to Entrant in connection with any separate opt-in opportunity provided to Entrant during participation in the Promotion, (ii) for any other purposes as may be necessary in connection with the proper administration, fulfillment, publicizing, and promotion of the Promotion as described in these Official Rules, and/or (iii) as otherwise expressly consented to by Entrant during any separate opt-in opportunity provided to Entrant during participation in the Promotion. If an Entrant does not fully agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy stated above or with Sponsor’s statement in the Official Rules as to the use of an Entrant’s personal information, such Entrant should not provide any personal information to enter the Promotion.

GENERAL: If, in the judgment of Sponsor, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, or the integrity and or feasibility of the Promotion is severely undermined by a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention,  technical failures, fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupts the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Promotion, Sponsor reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to discontinue, suspend or terminate the Promotion. In the event of any such discontinuation, suspension or termination, notice thereof will be posted @br_betting on Instagram and Sponsor will make the Prize available to be won in a manner it deems fair and reasonable, which manner shall include the selection of potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible Entrants received prior to any such discontinuation, suspension or termination.  A potential winner may be required to show proof of being the primary account holder. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the winner will be the authorized account holder of the Instagram account or e-mail address submitted at time that his/her B/R App account was created, as the case maybe. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an Instagram account by Instagram, or an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
