AEW Rampage Results: Winners, Grades, Reaction and Highlights from November 25

Welcome to Bleacher Report's coverage and recap of AEW Rampage on November 25.

This week's episode was taped immediately after Wednesday's episode of Dynamite, so the raucous Chicago crowd was still in attendance.

Those fans were treated to a match for the ROH Tag Team Championships when FTR put the belts on the line against Top Flight.

We also saw three members of The Dark Order battle Rush, The Butcher and The Blade, while Hikaru Shida fought Queen Aminata, and Darby Allin took on Anthony Henry.

Let's take a look at everything that happened on Friday's show.

This week's episode of Rampage aired at a special time of 4:00 PM Eastern on Black Friday, and the show opened up with a bang as FTR defended the ROH tag titles against Top Flight.

Darius Martin and Dax Harwood started for their teams while Dante Martin and Cash Wheeler watched as their partners had a fast-paced exchange of takedowns. Darius showed some nice technical ability against one of the best technicians in AEW today.

Wheeler was subjected to some of Top Flight's signature double-team offense. FTR had a chance to get in a few double-team spots, but Top Flight seemed to be in control for more of the match.

This was more of a series of spots and sequences than one coherent story, but sometimes that can be fun, especially when it involves high-flyers like Top Flight. Both teams could have sold a bit more for their opponents, but sometimes, you have to sacrifice that to keep the pace up. FTR was able to get the win with the Big Rig to retain the titles.

Winners: FTR

Grade: B-

Notable Moments and Observations

• On Wednesday night, reports started circulating on social media about Dante's possible injury. Let's hope it's nothing serious. Top Flight has had some of the worst luck with injuries. 
• Double-pin spots in tag team matches make no sense. The partner who isn't legal can't be pinned or score a pin. It would be better if it just looked like Dante was trying to keep Harwood grounded instead of covering him for a kickout. 
• Dante almost had a bad fall when he hit his jumping springboard to the outside. 
• Darius hit a nice Spanish Fly on Wheeler. 

Chris Jericho and the JAS had a promo in the ring, but they were interrupted by Claudio Castagnoli. He challenged Jericho to a title match, but The Ocho said if he loses, he has to join the JAS.

The next bout saw Allin take on Henry, who did not get an entrance to save time. Henry had a bit of a size and power advantage, so he was able to use that to control the early moments of the match.

He maintained the upper hand throughout the break, but Allin started to make a comeback like he always does. Sting took out JD Drake after he got involved. Allin countered a suplex with a Scorpion Death Drop before hitting the Coffin Drop for the win.

This match was fun for what it was, but it didn't really stand out. They mentioned some of the history between Allin and Henry on commentary but didn't explain enough to let casual viewers know why these men hate each other.

Winner: Darby Allin

Grade: C+

Notable Moments and Observations

• Seeing a long promo segment on Rampage is weird. It just doesn't happen very much. 
• The way Henry lifted Allin off the mat into a suplex position was impressive. Allin is small, but it was still cool. 
• Henry controlled a surprising amount of this match. Allin is usually the underdog, but to see him give up so much to someone who isn't used too much on AEW TV was still unexpected. 

Penelope Ford and The Bunny came out to distract Shida, so Aminata was able to take control immediately.

Shida nailed her with an elbow strike before picking her up for a falcon arrow. She then landed a spinning kick to the head for a quick and easy win.

There's not much to say about this. It's always nice to see Shida, but the women's division deserves better than this.

Winner: Hikaru Shida

Grade: C-

Notable Moments and Observations

• The falcon arrow Shida hit was one of the better ones we have seen from her. 

The main event saw Preston Vance, John Silver and Alex Reynolds take on Rush, The Butcher and The Blade. However, Vance was nowhere to be seen when The Dark Order made its entrance.

Silver and Reynolds proceeded to wrestle at a disadvantage all the way through the commercial break, so the heels had control almost the entire time.

Silver began to mount some offense as we returned from the break, but Rush cut off his chance to tag Reynolds and get some relief.

Vance ran down to the ring and looked like he would help his team, but he ended up attacking Silver to cost The Dark Order the match. He proceeded to help Rush, Butcher and Blade destroy Silver and Reynolds.

Vance walked up to -1 and threw his mask on the ground to end the show. The match itself was decent, but the storyline development at the end is what will really make this stand out.

Winners: Rush, Butcher and Blade

Grade: B-

Notable Moments and Observations

• Harwood issued a challenge to Bryan Danielson in a backstage segment. 
• The Butcher needs to be used more often. He is so good at working with smaller guys, and AEW has more than enough of them to go around. 
• We saw -1 on the stage looking so distraught over 10's betrayal.
