AEW Collision Results: Winners, Live Grades, Reaction, Highlights From Nov. 4

Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage and recap of AEW Collision on November 4.
For fans who follow both All Elite Wrestling and WWE, Saturday was a long day due to the Crown Jewel pay-per-view taking place in the afternoon.
During the evening, AEW put on a show with a handful of matches featuring stars from across every division.
Not only did we get to see Lance Archer take on Darby Allin, but we also saw Willow Nightingale take on Emi Sakura.
AR Fox battled Swerve Strickland, and a huge eight-man tag match took place featuring FTR and LFI taking on Big Bill, Ricky Starks, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun.
Let's take a look at everything that happened on Saturday's episode of Collision.
AR Fox vs. Swerve Strickland

The show started off with the usual lineup of quick interviews but quickly turned into chaos when AR Fox attacked Swerve Strickland.
They fought into the arena as Elton John's music played and the fireworks went off behind them. Fox was being very aggressive as he sought revenge against his former friend.
It took the leader of The Mogul Embassy to get his composure, but once he did, he took Fox's legs out from under him to ground his high-flying offense.
These two know each other well and are both very good at what they do, so it should surprise nobody to hear that they had a great match. It would have been surprising if this was anything less than a high-energy exchange.

Strickland was doing a fantastic job playing a vicious heel but managed to get a clean win with a huge double stomp from the top rope.
The Gates of Agony joined Swerve and looked like they were going to continue attacking Fox until FTR showed up to make the save.
Result: Swerve Strickland defeated AR Fox
Grade: B+
Notable Moments and Observations
- Fighting in front of the pyro as the opening song played was a great way to kick off the show.
- The height Fox got when he dove over the top rope was wild.
- The superplex Swerve hit looked great, but that means it was also likely very painful for the competitors. They got some serious height when Swerve launched both of them.
- The way Swerve picked Fox up into a powerbomb position only to transition into a slam was an awesome spot.
The Kingdom vs. Local Competitors, Lance Archer vs. Darby Allin

The Kingdom was in action against two local competitors. Matt Taven and Mike Bennet made quick work of them while Roderick Strong directed traffic from his wheelchair. This was about as one-sided as it gets. Taven got the pin for his team after they hit a spike piledriver.
Result: The Kingdom squashed two jobbers
Grade: Incomplete
The next match saw Allin fight a huge uphill battle against Archer. The risk-taker was knocked out of the ring as The Murderhawk Monster started to decimate him.
Allin began to make a comeback after the show returned from a break. He even resorted to biting Archer on the nose at one point, but all it did was make him angry.
The ref stopped Jake Roberts from using Allin's own skateboard against him and ejected him from ringside.
Allin was able to hit a destroyer from the middle rope to pin Archer and win the match. Roberts came back out and said he had more guys to fight Allin and brought out The Righteous.

The match between Archer and Allin played out exactly how it needed to, but that also made it predictable. Archer and Roberts joining forces with The Righteous is an interesting development.
Result: Darby Allin defeated Lance Archer
Grade: B-
Notable Moments and Observations
- The way Roddy got out of his chair to hit a jumping knee and then pretended like he was in pain and needed his chair again was hilarious.
- The way Allin tumbled out of the ring before the break looked rough.
- Biting a man on the nose is messed up no matter how you look at it.
- The chokeslam Allin took on the apron was nasty.
The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass vs. Dalton Castle and the Boys (Trios Titles)

The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass had a special celebration for reaching 69 days as the trios champions. As they were preparing to wrap it up, Dalton Castle and The Boys came to the ring.
Castle smashed a 69 trophy The Acclaimed had made to initiate a fight. This quickly turned into a match for the Trios Championships.
This was a short match that had a long break in the middle, but with the celebration and the match together, this was a decent segment. The crowd was into all of it.
Result: The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass defeated Dalton Castle and The Boys
Grade: B-
Notable Moments and Observations
- The celebration segment was filled with several dirty jokes.
- Billy being so entertained by Castle's arrival was hilarious.
The Sex Stallions vs. Mark Briscoe, Dustin Rhodes and Keith Lee

Kip Sabian nicknamed himself and The Workhorsemen as The Sex Stallions in a backstage segment before the new trio took on Mark Briscoe, Keith Lee and Dustin Rhodes.
This wasn't s squash match since the heel team managed to get in some offense, but this was just as predictable as a squash would have been.
The match ended up being better than it needed to be because Sabian, JD Drake and Anthony Henry were able to put together some impressive sequences.
Briscoe got the pin for his team in a short but energetic match.
Result: Mark Briscoe, Dustin Rhodes and Keith Lee defeated The Sex Stallions
Grade: C+

Willow Nightingale vs. Emi Sakura

Willow Nightingale and Emi Sakura had a match this week, but Willow was also in a backstage segment with Kris Statlander and Skye Blue that showed more friction between Blue and Stat.
Willow and Emi had a great match earlier this year, so this was a bit of a rematch. They started off trying to take each other down with shoulder tackles.
Both of these women are known for their power but Sakura had to rely more on her experience advantage since Nightingale was clearly the stronger competitor.
They put on a match that was just as hard-hitting as their previous encounter. Willow got the win with the Doctor Bomb.
Result:
Grade: B
Notable Moments and Observations
- Sakura always looks like a million bucks. Her gear is clearly made by someone with a lot of skill.
- All of the black makeup from Julia Hart's mist is gone from Willow's face. She's too positive to be turned to the dark side.
- Red Velvet's in-ring return was announced during this match. She will take on Hart next week.
FTR and LFI vs. Big Bill, Ricky Starks and Gates of Agony

All eight men in this main event match already made appearances earlier in the evening, so the tensions were already high.
The heels definitely showed better teamwork than the good guys, but the match as a whole was still competitive.
Eight-man matches tend to have a brisk pace because it's hard to feature that many men in the ring at once, but it felt like this was timed out well so everyone got to be on offense and defense for a bit.
This bout had great energy and put good focus on the AEW tag team division. It wasn't super memorable but it definitely helped give the crowd a d decent nding to the show.
Rush scored the win for his team but LFI refused to shake FTR's hands.
Result: LFI and FTR defeated Ricky Starks, Big Bill and Gates of Agony
Grade: B
Notable Moments and Observations
- LFI and FTR didn't seem to get along too well earlier in the show.
- Preston Vance rarely looks small but Big Bill towering over him was quite a sight.
- Rush and Starks had a nice exchange. It made Rush look like a badass.
- Rush was getting some great reactions from the crowd.
The Final Word
This week's Collision didn't feature any major storyline developments but it did deliver some fun action and set up some interesting matches for next week.
Ending the show with a brawl between The House of Black and BCC seemed random when it was clear HOB was targeting FTR, but the increased focus on the tag team division lately has been great.
Swerve and Fox put on the best match this week, but every bout was enjoyable on some level. The 69-day celebration for The Acclaimed was a big highlight this week.
The return of LFI as tweener characters is going to be interesting to watch. Rush getting so much love from the crowd might convince Tony Khan to give him a run as a babyface to test the waters.
