Predictions for Kenny Omega, MJF, Mercedes Mone, Full AEW Revolution 2025 Match Card

AEW Revolution airs Sunday and will be the first time fans can stream the pay-per-view via Amazon Prime thanks to the company's new distribution deal.

The card is stacked with title bouts, grudge matches and the usual array of exciting pro wrestling action we've come to expect from All Elite Wrestling.

Here's a look at the main card for the show:

  • Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher
  • MJF vs. "Hangman" Adam Page
  • Kazuchika Okada vs. Brody King (Continental Championship)
  • The Hurt Syndicate vs. The Outrunners (AEW Tag Titles)
  • Mercedes Mone vs. Momo Watanabe (TBS Championship)
  • Swerve Strickland vs. Ricochet
  • Toni Storm vs. Mariah May (Women's World Championship)
  • Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kenny Omega (International Championship)
  • Jon Moxley vs. Adam Copeland (Men's World Championship)

Let's go through these nine matches and attempt to make some predictions.

Toni Storm vs. Mariah May

Many of the great film franchises have consisted of a trilogy of movies, and AEW is looking to make its own magic with the third and potentially final match between Storm and May.

The allies-turned-bitter enemies have had two incredible performances that both ended in the Women's World Championship changing hands. This time feels different, though.

Their first encounter was designed to turn May into a star, and it worked. She won the title and had a great reign to establish herself as a top talent in AEW. Storm regained the belt in Australia, and they are now set for one more showdown.

Booking a third title change in this feud would kill all of its momentum and ruin the great work everyone has done in this story, so the only outcome management should be considering is a successful defense by Storm.

Prediction: Storm retains the AEW Women's World Championship

Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita

Omega has been unable to escape dealing with The Don Callis Family for what feels like forever, and another chapter will be added to the story on Sunday when he battles Takeshita for the International Championship.

Whether Omega wins or not isn't going to determine the end of his overall feud with Callis, so that detail is irrelevant, and it makes the outcome less predictable.

That being said, Omega is still the favorite here. Not only would him winning the International Championship give the title a boost in prestige, but it would also give him and Takeshita an excuse to continue their feud beyond Revolution.

This is practically a lock to be one of the best matches of the night no matter who leaves with the title, but right now, Omega is the safer bet.

Prediction: Omega wins the International Championship

Swerve Strickland vs. Ricochet

Strickland and Ricochet may not be fighting for a belt on Sunday, but whoever wins will earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, so there is more than pride on the line this time.

Ricochet won their previous encounter and acted like he was trying to move past this feud, but Strickland's desire for retribution was too great.

He and Prince Nana lured The One and Only into this match with the promise of a title shot for the winner, but their personal animosity is driving this story, not gold.

Sunday night, Ricochet is going to find out why his rival is often considered one of the most violent men in AEW. The former world champion is going to get back Nana's Embassy jacket and earn himself a title shot in one fell swoop.

This won't be their final encounter, but it will even the score at 1-1.

Prediction: Strickland wins

Mercedes Mone vs. Momo Watanabe

Mercedes has been collecting belts for the past several months, but she is the only one putting a title on the line in her match against Watanabe this weekend.

This is one of the easier bouts to predict on the card for one simple reason: Watanabe is not a member of the AEW roster, so the odds of her winning a title are slim at best.

However, the Japanese star is a credible opponent who will help legitimize Mone's title reign by putting her over in an entertaining and competitive match. It won't be surprising, but it should be a ton of fun.

Prediction: Mone retains the TBS Championship

The Hurt Syndicate vs. The Outrunners

The Outrunners are a hot act right now and it wouldn't be surprising to find out Tony Khan is considering a title run for them.

It's not going to happen at the expense of Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, though.

The Hurt Syndicate hasn't held the tag titles that long and needs a strong reign to establish itself as a dominant force in AEW, so Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum are going to be fed to the champions on Sunday.

This is going to be a fun match that probably includes a few funny moments, but it won't be surprising if it's a glorified squash, too.

Either way, Lashley and Benjamin are leaving with those belts still around their waists.

Prediction: The Hurt Syndicate retains the tag titles

MJF vs. 'Hangman' Adam Page

Out of all of the feuds that will be featured at Revolution, the one between MJF and Hangman has grown to be the most personal.

A lot of people fighting on Sunday want to hurt each other, but it feels like these two men genuinely hate every single atom that makes up the other. It's the kind of tension that every storyline should strive for but few reach.

These two have only been opponents a handful of times, but only once was it in a singles match. On the 2019 Thanksgiving episode of Dynamite, MJF defeated Page in their only one-on-one encounter.

Both men will be going on different paths coming out of this feud, which means how it ends is going to dictate their next steps. It feels like MJF is going to make a play for the world title, while Page continues to evaluate himself internally.

In order for both men to go in those directions, this has to end with MJF getting a cheap victory.

Prediction: MJF defeats Page

Kazuchika Okada vs. Brody King

King is getting a big opportunity on Sunday when he challenges Okada for the Continental Championship, but this is not going to be his night.

As great as King is as a performer, it doesn't feel like AEW has built him up enough to be a believable choice to dethrone The Rainmaker right now.

Okada is a big star who has been at a bit of a standstill recently. He needs a bigger feud than this to finally lose the title, and for that reason, he is our pick for the winner of this match.

Prediction: Okada retains the Continental Championship

Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher

Ospreay and Fletcher will be fighting inside a steel cage on Sunday, so it's safe to assume there will be some high-risk antics from both men.

This feud has already produced some great wrestling, and we should be in for more of the same at Revolution. But the outcome doesn't seem too hard to predict.

They are tied 1-1 in singles matches during this feud, so the cage match feels like the big conclusion to everything. Fletcher has gained a lot in this storyline, so having Ospreay get the victory is the most logical outcome.

Regardless of who wins, the safest prediction we can make is that this is going to be one of the best things we see all weekend.

Prediction: Ospreay defeated Fletcher

Jon Moxley vs. Cope

The world title bout will see Moxley defend the belt against Cope, but for the first time, it feels like the Death Riders leader is at a disadvantage.

Cope has systematically taken out most of Moxley's allies in recent weeks to even the playing field, and with the way things are looking, it could be exactly what he needed to do.

The truth is that fans on social media have expressed a lot of displeasure with aspects of the Death Riders storyline, and Sunday feels like the perfect opportunity for AEW to reset it.

Having Moxley lose the belt to The Rated-R Superstar makes sense and would end the PPV on a positive note. Unless someone turns on Cope and joins Mox's crew, the odds seem to be in the challenger's favor.

Predictions: Cope wins the AEW World Championship
