Video: Manchester United Target Erling Haaland Scores 9 Goals in U20 World Cup

Norway hammered Honduras 12-0 at the Under-20 FIFA World Cup on Thursday, with Erling Braut Haaland on the scoresheet an incredible nine times.
The forward is the son of former Norway, Manchester City and Leeds United midfielder Alf-Inge Haaland and he capitalised to great effect in a game where Honduras ended up with nine men:
Scouted Football provided more details regarding Haaland's display:
Per the FIFA website, the 12-goal win is the biggest in the history of the competition.
Unsurprisingly, Haaland's haul of nine goals is also a record, comfortably surpassing the six scored by Adailton in the 10-3 win registered by Brazil against South Korea in 1997.
The 18-year-old is currently on the books of Red Bull Salzburg, although he has been linked with Manchester United in the past.
According to a report from Liam Prenderville of the Daily Mirror in July 2018, the Red Devils sent scouts to watch Haaland during his time as a Molde player; current United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was in charge of the Norwegian outfit at the time.
Haaland eventually moved to Salzburg in January this year and has scored one goal in two appearances for the first team.
Despite the massive win for Norway, their place in the knockout stage of the competition is not certain. They finished third in their pool and need to wait to see if they are one of the best third-placed teams from the six groups, with four progressing into the last-16.
Norwegian FA to Pay Men's and Women's National Teams Equally

The Norwegain FA has announced they have reached a deal to pay their male and female internationals equally.
Per Reuters (for the Guardian), players' union president Joachim Walltin believes the deal to be the first of its kind.
It was said to be likely the women will be paid a monthly fee dependent on their selection in national squads, while the men will receive their money annually. The men's team will also donate commercial income they earn as part of national team duties to ensure the two groups are paid equally.
Caroline Graham Hansen, a winger for Wolfsburg and member of the women's team, took to social media to thank her male colleagues:
As noted by Reuters, the pay gap in international football has been a hot topic of late. The Danish women's team has been involved in an ugly standoff with the national FA and even had to cancel a recent friendly, while the United States Women's National Team have also been very vocal about their situation.
Per Grant Wahl of Sports Ilustrated, the Stars and Stripes even took their dispute to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, filing an official action of wage discrimination.
Norwegian Goalkeeper Breaks Opponent's Leg, Reacts in Disbelief

Kenneth Udjus, a goalkeeper for Norwegian soccer team Asker, was devastated after a slide tackle gone wrong broke the left leg of KFUM's Yassin Rfiffi.
"It's as bad as it gets. It was painful to watch," Udjus told Norwegian TV (via Deadspin). "I have not seen the video of the incident, but it was a shock. I'm very, very sorry now. … Of course I had no bad intentions."
Intentional or not, the crushing tackle resulted in a fibula broken in two places for Rfiffi, who suffered more pain than a guilty conscience.
Here's the video. Don't watch if you're squeamish:
