La Liga Results 2017: Table, Scores and Reaction After Final Week 27 Match

Osasuna ended a dire La Liga run of six defeats on the bounce as they claimed a home draw against Eibar on Monday, but they remain rooted to the bottom of the table.
The visitors went ahead at El Sadar Stadium through Kike after 72 minutes and looked to have condemned Osasuna to yet another loss in their disaster of a season.
However, Kenan Kodro netted an equaliser seven minutes later—his third goal in two matches—and the hosts held out for a point.
Read on for a look at the latest standings following the culmination of Week 27, and the full results.

Monday Recap
It has not been an easy season for Osasuna in the Spanish top flight after their promotion from Segunda Division last term.
Ahead of Monday's clash, they were 15 points from safety, having registered just one victory all season. That win, though, did come against Monday opponents Eibar back in October.
But there was to be no end to Osasuna's winless streak in the league.
They managed to reach the half-time break level at 0-0 after Salvatore Sirigu saved from both Sergi Enrich and Takashi Inui.
There was no stopping Eibar taking the lead in the second half when Kike slotted into a bottom corner.
Osasuna did manage to scrape a draw when Kodro equalised 11 minutes from time, but their record remains dismal and they are a long way from safety, per Opta:
Indeed, the Guardian's Sid Lowe declared last week that "it's over" for Osasuna in La Liga this season, and failure to win again on Monday only made their relegation more likely. They have not been helped by the fact that some of La Liga's other strugglers also had decent results in Week 27—Sporting Gijon and Leganes both drew on Saturday before Deportivo La Coruna played on Sunday.
Pepe Mel's side incredibly beat Barcelona 2-1 in their fourth unbeaten game on the bounce to climb to 15th.
And, as a result of the Blaugrana's defeat, Real Madrid are now top of the table again after Sergio Ramos' 81st-minute winner against Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu later Sunday.
C.A. Osasuna: The Latest La Liga BBVA Team of the Week
C.A. Osasuna is the latest team to be named La Liga BBVA Team of the Week. The reasons can be summed up in two subjects: relegation threat and history.
Relegation
C.A. Osasuna is currently in last place within the 2012-13 La Liga BBVA table. It currently has five points in the table and will face Valladolid this Sunday morning.
Osasuna has the misfortune of one win, two draws and six losses in its matches. It is a pity that a club with a rich history finds itself in this predicament.
History
C.A. Osasuna began in the year 1920 at Pamplona in Spain. Osasuna was the result of the unification of two clubs, Sportiva and New Club.
The word osasuna is Basque for positive factors in life such as health, happiness and a long life. Benjamin Andoian Martinez, one of the founders, suggested the name for the fledging club.
The early years for Osasuna was one of eventual promotion to the Second and First Division. The 1926-27 season saw Seve Coiburu of Osasuna playing for the Spanish National Team.
Coiburu was the first Osasuna player to play for Spain. During the 1930s and 1940s, Osasuna experienced the Spanish Civil War, financial problems and relegation to the Third Division.
Osasuna was able to survive the decade to win a return to the Second Division in 1949. From 1949 to 1963, Osasuna lived in a golden age with a strong economy.
During the Golden Age, Osasuna defeated teams such as Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. In 1963, Osasuna was relegated to the Second Division where it remained for two decades.
The club suffered from financial difficulties and sold their stadium as a result. In 1967, a new stadium named El Sadar was dedicated.
The club underwent a transformation in the 1980s with a return to the First Division. Osasuna was also in sixth place during the 1984-85 La Liga season.
Osasuna participated in the UEFA Cup for the first time in history in 1985. The club continued to rise and participated in the UEFA Champions League as well as the UEFA Europa League.
The biggest victory for Osasuna in a UEFA event was against Slavia Sofia at Pamplona in 1991.
Conclusion
It is hoped that Osasuna is able to recover from its relegation threat. Unfortunately, Osasuna will have to win most of its matches during the current La Liga BBVA season.
It remains to be seen if Osasuna will be able accomplish this feat.
