Eagles Promote Kevin Patullo to OC After Kellen Moore's Exit for Saints HC Job

After offensive coordinator Kellen Moore departed to accept a head coaching position with the New Orleans Saints, the Philadelphia Eagles have found an in-house replacement.
The Eagles announced Wednesday that they are promoting passing game coordinator Kevin Patullo to OC following Moore's exit.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero added that Philadelphia is expected to hire Parks Frazier to replace Patullo as pass game coordinator. Frazier is a longtime assistant in the NFL and spent time on coaching staffs with the Indianapolis Colts, Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins.
Patullo has been a member of the staff under Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni since 2021, and he added the title of associate head coach in 2023.
Prior to defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, Sirianni sang Patullo's praises, describing him as "very important to the success that we've had" and stressing the need for continuity when Moore's departure appeared to be imminent.
"I lean on him a lot," Sirianni said of Patullo. "That continuity is really important because he knows what I'm thinking in certain situations, how you want things to be taught, all of those different things, so he's been a great resource for me the entire time, our success this year, but really the success we've had since we've been here. Can't be great without the greatness of others and that is definitely a fact with Kevin Patullo and I trust him with everything. Got a ton of trust and faith with him. He's awesome."
The decision to promote from within the organization should be received positively by Eagles players. Philadelphia's quick moves to shore up Sirianni's staff after Moore's departure could put the team in a position to compete for a second straight Super Bowl title.
