The Arizona Cardinals are "always going to be listening" on trade offers for the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, according to general manager Monti Ossenfort.

"I think we'll always have the conversation," he told reporters Wednesday. "We may not get to a point where a deal makes sense, whether it's at [No.] 4 or anywhere we're picking, but we're always going to have the conversation and if it makes sense, if it's attractive to building our team, then it's something that we'll certainly consider no matter where we're at in the draft."

The Cardinals are in an advantageous position because they're poised to land the best non-quarterback in the 2024 class.

USC's Caleb Williams, North Carolina's Drake Maye and LSU's Jayden Daniels were the first three picks in Bleacher Report's newest mock, and that trio—in one form or another—is the consensus in those spots.

Because of that, Ossenfort should have his choice of every other position.

Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr. or Washington's Rome Odunze would give quarterback Kyler Murray a new No. 1 target. Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt would solidify an offensive line that performed better than expected. Maybe the front office prefers to go defense with Florida State edge-rusher Jared Verse, Alabama edge Dallas Turner or Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell.

Ossenfort could instead go in a much different direction and capitalize on the early run on quarterbacks, exploiting another team's desperation to land a signal-caller. NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah projected the Minnesota Vikings to trade up to the fourth pick to get Michigan's J.J. McCarthy.

Whether the team stays put or explores a trade, Arizona has a lot of options.

Former Arizona Cardinals front-office executive Terry McDonough is facing assault charges after being accused of choking his neighbor.

According to the Associated Press, McDonough has a court date of April 11. Court documents filed in Mecklenburg County show that the neighbor alleges that McDonough "chest-bumped him and then put his hands around his neck and tried to choke him, while shouting obscenities and derogatory terms, on March 12."

The alleged victim said in the criminal affidavit that the confrontation occurred because McDonough was upset about some tractor equipment damaging his lawn. The man levied further accusations at McDonough, stating he "has a history of volatile behavior and also (was) publicized in national news related to a case he has with the Arizona Cardinals. He tried to strangle me unprovoked and both me and my family do not feel safe."

The man was referring to McDonough's arbitration claim against the Cardinals from last April accusing team owner Michael Bidwill of cheating. He claims he was wrongfully demoted after objecting to a scheme that included the use of "burner phones" to mitigate the suspension of then-general manager Steve Keim following his DUI arrest.

Bidwill denied McDonough's assertions, saying his "erratic behavior eventually damaged his career." The team pointed to several instances of "volatile behavior" by McDonough, including a text exchange with Bidwill in which he apologized for a confrontation.

McDonough spent 10 seasons as a member of the Cardinals front office, most notably serving as vice president of player personnel. The Associated Press could not reach him for comment on the matter involving his neighbor.

The Arizona Cardinals are putting some flash into State Farm Stadium ahead of the 2024 NFL season.

The team announced a new luxury on-field seating experience that will allow fans to see players in the tunnel and watch games from field level.

As we look to get better and innovate and provide the best fan experience, we wanted to create some new experiences that haven't been seen in the NFL," Cardinals Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Walls said, per José M. Romero of the Arizona Republic. "To our knowledge... we are the first stadium in the world to have luxury casitas inside a stadium, you know, so literally your home in the end zone, and everyone will have their own private front porch, everybody will have their own private roof deck as well as kind of their great room inside their casita where they can host everybody.

The new features include the Casita Garden Club and Casitas seating section in the south end zone, field boxes, suites and seats that sit just beside the sidelines, tunnel suites and the visitor's tunnel experience and the Morgan Athletic Club that sits behind the north end zone.

The Casita Garden Club section will open three hours prior to kickoff and is just feet away from the home locker room. Fans will be able to have a behind-the-scenes look at the team before it prepares to hit the field.

The Casitas seating section and the field boxes will have access to the Garden Club. The Casitas section is described as "our version of beachfront property" and give fans a private front porch and rooftop deck to watch the game from.

Their will be 30 field boxes that fit four-to-six people and feature a "prime, on-field location" that is the "first of its kind in professional sports."

The sideline and end zone field seats, as well as the field suites and tunnel suites, will all have access to the Morgan Athletic Club, which will be a lounge honoring the history of the franchise. The different seating arrangements will provide on-field views and personalized watching experiences.

"What we've noticed as we studied other events and stadiums worldwide is people want things that allow them to socialize with their friends and family or customers," Walls said. per Romero. "And they wanted something that's a little different than your typical experience. And so in both of these scenarios, sitting on the field is obviously the hero here, but, but having your own luxury casita in the end zone has never been done. And then having a 1920s supper club, ... music meets football experience, is also a newer concept."

The Cardinals went 4-13 in 2023 and finished in last place in the NFC West. The franchise has the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and will play nine home games in 2024.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray had his $29.9 million salary for the 2025 season become fully guaranteed this past weekend, and an NFL insider believes it indicates how strongly the team feels about him.

Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer wrote, "The Arizona Cardinals love Kyler Murray. I didn't think I'd be writing that a year ago—when everyone thought Arizona would be the worst team in the league, preparing to draft [Caleb] Williams and offload Murray in 2024—but that's where we are. And the team has now backed up the feelings it expressed on social media in a very big way."

Murray's $35.3 million salary for the 2024 season was already locked in, so the Cardinals would've faced a major penalty if they cut him, similar to what the Denver Broncos are dealing with after releasing Russell Wilson. However, the notion of getting rid of Murray apparently didn't cross any minds in Arizona.

The Cardinals established a new regime last offseason with the hiring of general manager Monti Ossenfort and head coach Jonathan Gannon, which led to some speculation that they might want to move in a different direction by selecting one of the top quarterback prospects in this year's talented draft class. Breer explained that Murray won over his new bosses in a multitude of ways throughout the 2023 season.

While rehabbing from a torn ACL suffered late in the 2022 campaign, Murray remained in Arizona and was at the team facility "daily" to receive treatment, "going above and beyond to work his knee back to health," per Breer.

When Murray returned for the second half of the 2023 season, he "looked like Kyler" and played some of his best ball toward the end of the year. He also completely embraced the new offensive system implemented by the first-year staff under Gannon.

The Cardinals hold the No. 4 pick in the 2024 draft after finishing with a 4-13 record, and many expect them to add a player who would benefit Murray, whether it be a receiver or an offensive tackle. Arizona is hoping to bounce back in a big way during the upcoming season.

Kyler Murray received $29.9 million fully guaranteed for the 2025 season from the Arizona Cardinals by being on the team's roster at 4 p.m. ET Saturday, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The guaranteed money is in addition to the $35.3 million he will receive this season from the five-year, $230.5 million contract extension he signed in 2022.

Murray, 26, threw for 1,799 passing yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023, limited to just eight games while dealing with an injury in the first half of the season.

The Cardinals extended Murray's contract in 2022 after he threw for 3,971 yards and 26 touchdowns in 2020 3,787 yards and 24 touchdowns in 2021. He was sidelined in 2022 after suffering a torn ACL that sidelined him for 15 games across the last two seasons.

Though the Cardinals won just four games last season, the offense got a major boost after Murray returned to the field, and it's clear the future is bright for Arizona with Murray under center.

The Cardinals have the chance to give Murray a major target in this year's NFL draft. Arizona holds the fourth pick and Bleacher Report's Scouting Department projects it will take Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. in that slot. The Cardinals' offense has lacked an elite receiver, and drafting Harrison would give them exactly that.

With Murray staying in Arizona for the long haul, putting the right pieces around him could help the Cardinals turn things around after nearly a decade of struggles.

The Saquon Barkley-Tiki Barber beef has provided a blueprint for other NFL players to mock when one of their teammates signs with another club.

Case in point is Kyler Murray's response to Marquise Brown agreeing to a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Arizona Cardinals quarterback used Barber's now-infamous, "Good luck, you're dead to me" line, along with a clip from the movie 300 to address the move.

Unlike the Barkley-Barber banter, Hollywood Brown responded to the clip as you would expect.

This is a complete 180 from how Barber and Barkley went about their business after Barkley agreed to a three-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday.

Barkley's decision to leave the New York Giants for arguably their biggest rival prompted Barber to say this on his WFAN Sports Radio show: "You're dead to us, Saquon. Good luck, you're dead to me."

Barkley had no problem calling out Barber for that comment:

In the aftermath of Barber's comment, "good luck, you're dead to me" has become a go-to line for players as they watch teammates make decisions in free agency. Lamar Jackson used it after Patrick Queen agreed to a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Murray and Brown have a friendship that dates back to their two seasons together at the University of Oklahoma from 2017 to '18. Brown was the Sooners' leading receiver with 1,318 yards during Murray's Heisman Trophy-winning season in 2018.

The Cardinals reunited the duo in April 2022 when they acquired Brown in a trade from the Baltimore Ravens.

The only person happier about Justin Madubuike's new deal with the Baltimore Ravens than Madubuike himself is Christian Wilkins because he's about to cash in as the best free-agent defensive tackle on the market.

Per ESPN's Josh Weinfuss, the Arizona Cardinals intend to make Wilkins a "high priority" when free agency opens on Wednesday.

Weinfuss did note that Wilkins "may command" more money than the Cardinals are willing to spend, and they could target other options like Leonard Williams, DJ Reader, Grover Stewart or Sheldon Rankins to improve the interior of their defensive line.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Friday that Madubuike agreed to a four-year, $98 million deal with the Ravens that includes $75.5 million in total guarantees.

The contract makes Madubuike the highest-paid defensive tackle by total value and second-highest paid by average annual salary ($24.5 million), trailing only Aaron Donald's $31.7 million per year from the Los Angeles Rams.

Per Spotrac's projected market value, Wilkins is expected to sign a four-year deal worth just under $81 million. The Cardinals could easily afford that deal, as they have $51.8 million in cap space available.

Madubuike had more sacks than Wilkins last season (13 to nine), but Wilkins ranked 13th in ESPN's pass-rush win rate among all defensive tackles. Madubuike wasn't among the top 20 players in that category.

One of the biggest differences between Madubuike and Williams is age. Wilkins isn't an old player, having just turned 28 on Dec. 20, but he's almost two full years older than Madubuike. The Ravens star turned 26 on Nov. 17.

Madubuike is an ascending player coming off the best season of his career. Wilkins also registered career-highs in sacks and quarterback hits (23), but it's plausible he has maxed out his ability.

Granted, that ability is very high and makes Wilkins a potential difference-maker. Dante Stills led all Cardinals defensive tackles with 3.5 sacks last season.

The No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft could be destined to go to the highest bidder.

Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported that the Arizona Cardinals have zero interest in a quarterback and would be "open to trading back" instead of being locked in on making a selection with the pick. Russini also reported that the possibility of four quarterbacks going with the top four picks is realistic.

Caleb Williams, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels have been viewed as the top quarterbacks available in the draft while others like J.J. McCarthy, Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr. could potentially be next in line.

The Cardinals notably traded down in the 2023 NFL Draft, dealing the No. 3 pick to the Houston Texans for the No. 12 pick in that draft and numerous other assets, including the No. 27 pick in the 2024 draft.

While the team is not in the market for a new signal caller, some intriguing names at other positions also loom at the top of the draft. Those include wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr, offensive lineman Joe Alt and wide receiver Malik Nabers.

If the top three picks are used on quarterbacks, Arizona could potentially have free reign to take the team's preferred prospect.

However, recouping some assets while potentially still grabbing one of those players a few picks later could also be intriguing. It also may be what's needed for a team that went 4-13 in 2024 to improve and make a step towards contending in the loaded NFC West.

The 2024 NFL Draft is set to take place April 25-27.
