F1 25 Video Game Release Date, Lewis Hamilton Cover Revealed in Announcement Trailer

Formula 1 Racing fans will have a new way to experience the thrill of the sport firsthand from the comfort of their homes in just a couple months.
On Wednesday, EA Sports unveiled the trailer for the upcoming F1 25 and announced that the new video game will be released on May 30. Star driver Lewis Hamilton, who is the game's cover star, promoted the trailer on social media, giving fans a first taste of the gameplay and exciting features:
This year's release will mark the 18th entry in the F1 video game series. Players will be able to choose between the Standard Edition and the Iconic Edition, the latter of which features a host of added features.
"F1 25 delivers more ways for players to experience Formula 1 and race their way, from the drama of Braking Point to making headlines in the pursuit of World Championship glory," Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters, said in a press release. "This year, there are new opportunities for players to connect, collaborate, and compete than ever before. We look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks."
Formula 1 celebrated its 75th anniversary this season, and the 2025 campaign was highlighted by Hamilton's unprecedented departure from Mercedes to join Ferrari.
F1 25 will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game is available for pre-order now, and players who own F1 23 or F1 24 can score a 15 percent pre-order discount for the Iconic Edition.
