Team USA gymnast Suni Lee has claimed a second bronze Olympic medal on the women's uneven bars.

Lee marked a score of 14.800 during Sunday's finals to add another medal to the bronze she won at the 2020 Tokyo Games that took place in 2021.

Algeria's Kaylia Nemour claimed gold with a score of 15.700, while Qiyuan Qiu won silver with a 15.500.

Lee narrowly edged Nina Derwael and her score of 14.766 off the podium as the Belgian finished fourth.

This marked Lee's second strong performance on the uneven bars in Paris. She ranked second among uneven bar competitors on her way to bronze in the women's individual all-around competition earlier this week.

Lee's podium finish Sunday marked the next step in her comeback from multiple kidney disease diagnoses that threatened the derail her gymnastics career.

Those diagnoses led the 21-year-old to step away from her gymnastics career at Auburn in April 2023.

Just over one year later, Lee's comeback has led her to three medals at the 2024 Games, including a team gold.

She will now have the chance to win her fourth medal of the 2024 Games when the balance beam finals take place on Monday.

American gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik won bronze in the Saturday final of the men's pommel horse competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Nedoroscik scored 15.300 to earn a place on the podium.

Nedoroscik's score knocked two-time Olympic champion Max Whitlock off the podium and put him in third place with three competitors left to go.

Ireland's Rhys McClenaghan earned gold, while Nariman Kurbanov of Kazakhstan claimed silver.

The full results of Saturday's final are below.

Men's pommel horse final results

  1. Rhys McClenaghan, Ireland (15.533)
  2. Nariman Kurbanov, Kazakhstan (15.433)
  3. Stephen Nedoroscik, United States (15.300)
  4. Max Whitlock, Great Britain (15.200)
  5. Oleg Verniaiev, Ukraine (14.966)
  6. Takaaki Sugino, Japan (14.933)
  7. Hur Woong, South Korea (14.300)
  8. Loran de Munck, Netherlands (13.733)

Kurbanov performed first and set the bar high with a 15.433, beating out all qualifying scores.

Nedoroscik had previously qualified for the competition by tying McClenaghan's qualifiers-leading 15.200 score.

Whitlock performed after Kurbanov, but a break in form left Britain's most decorated gymnast off the podium in what he says will be the final Olympic appearance of his career.

McClenaghan became the first Irish gymnast to win an Olympic medal with his routine. The win represented redemption for McClenaghan after he finished seventh during 2020 Tokyo Games after coming off the pommel horse.

Nedoroscik earned his second bronze medal of the Olympics after his pommel horse routine also helped Team USA claim bronze in the men's team competition.

The former Penn State gymnast will add his two bronze medals to a list of accomplishments including a 2021 world championship and two NCAA titles.

Simone Biles continues to shine bright in the City of Light.

The U.S. gymnast secured her third gold medal of the 2024 Paris Summer with an electric performance in the women's vault final.

She scored a cumulative score of 15.300, which was 0.334 points ahead of silver medalist Rebeca Andrade of Brazil. The close margin between Biles and Andrade was something that Biles acknowledged following the final.

Biles' finish earned her the seventh gold medal of her Olympic career. Jade Carey of the United States rounded out the podium, capturing bronze. It represents Carey's third career medal and first bronze.

Biles moves into second place all-time for most Olympic gymnastics gold medals, tying Věra Čáslavská, who earned seven while competing for Czechoslovakia in 1960, 1964 and 1968. Larisa Latynina holds the record of nine gold medals, which she earned for the Soviet Union in 1956, 1960 and 1964.

Tying that record is within reach for Biles, as she still has two events remaining at the Paris Olympics. If she can earn gold in both, it will exceed her total of four golds in 2016 and will also put her in a tie with Latynina at nine.

Biles will attempt to add to her historic career on Monday when she competes in the balance beam and floor exercise finals.

Carlos Edriel Yulo made history Saturday as the first man from the Philippines to win Olympic gold in the men's floor exercise finals.

Yulo earned a score of 15.000 for his floor exercise routine, which was highlighted by a three-and-a-half twist dismount, to become the first Filipino gymnast to stand on an Olympic podium.

Israel's Artem Dolgopyat, the defending champion in the event, finished just behind to earn silver for his 14.966 score.

Great Britain's Jake Jarman, a reserve athlete in Tokyo who made his Olympic debut in Paris, claimed bronze with his score of 14.933.

The full final results are below.

Men's floor final results

  1. Carlos Edriel Yulo, Philippines: 15.000
  2. Artem Dolgopyat, Israel: 14.966
  3. Jake Jarman, Great Britain: 14.933
  4. Illia Kovtun, Ukraine: 14.533
  5. Milad Karimi, Kazakhstan: 14.500
  6. Luke Whitehouse, Great Britain: 14.466
  7. Zapata Rayderley, Spain: 14.333
  8. Boheng Zhang, China: 13.933

Ukraine's Illia Kovtun was edged off the podium and claimed a fourth-place finish. His quest for a first Olympic medal will continue.

Great Britain's Luke Whitehouse, expected to be a favorite to challenge for gold, finished sixth in his first Olympics.

The difficulty of Yulo's routine helped him join Hidilyn Diaz, a weightlifter who won gold the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, as the only Olympic gold medalists from his country.

Yulo now will have the chance to make more history on Sunday when he competes for another gold during the men's vault finals in Paris.

As Simone Biles dominates the mats at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, memorabilia from Olympics past still carry significant value.

A trading card from her 2016 Rio Summer Olympics sold for a record value of $2,500 on eBay on Saturday night. The Topps card features an autograph from the gymnast and shows her biting into a gold medal that she earned in the cycle.

2016 was Biles' first Olympics and she burst onto the scene with authority. She earned four golds and one bronze medal during the competition. She would earn an additional silver during the 2020 Summer Olympics and has re-emerged once again in 2024.

She currently has won two gold medals, one alongside her U.S. teammates and the other coming in the All-Around competition. She will have a few more chances to earn additional medals as well.

She is set to compete in the vault final on Sunday and will finish her Olympic slate on Monday with the balance beam and floor exercise finals. If she were to win gold in all three events, she would exceed her total from 2016.

In the time since winning gold in best all-around at the Tokyo Olympics, United States gymnastics star Suni Lee has had plenty to overcome.

Despite being diagnosed with multiple kidney diseases in March of last year, Lee pushed through the adversity and is once again an Olympic medalist. She won bronze in best all-around on Thursday, with her teammate Simone Biles taking home gold.

"I just wanted to prove to myself that I could do it because I didn't think that I could," Lee said, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN).

Lee edged out Italy's Alice D'Amato by a tenth of a point on Thursday to win her fifth medal after scoring a 13.933 in vault, 14.866 in uneven bars, 14.000 in balance beam and 13.666 in floor routine.

The performance followed Lee and the United States taking gold in team performance earlier this week and redeeming their silver medal finish at the 2020 Olympics.

While Lee is still chasing Biles, who made herself arguably one of the greatest American Olympians ever with her performance on Thursday, the 21-year-old still has plenty of time to continue racking up accomplishments in her young career.

Lee will represent the United States in the bars final on Sunday before rounding out the Olympics in the beam final on Monday.

Despite making history on Thursday by winning her sixth gymnastics gold medal in the Olympics, Simone Biles is still surprised to be in the discussion for the Greatest of All Time title.

"It is crazy that I am in the conversation of 'Greatest of all athletes' because I just still think, 'I'm Simone Biles from Spring, Texas who loves to flip,'" Biles said, via the Associated Press (h/t ESPN).

After her victory in the all-around women's final, the 27-year-old showed off a goat chain underneath her gold medal.

She also received praise from her fellow U.S. athletes, as the men's basketball team showed up to watch Thursday's final. Kevin Durant also referred to Biles as the GOAT in a post on X during her performance.

She became the first woman to win the all-around individual gold twice since Věra Čáslavská in 1968. Biles is also the oldest woman to win gold in the event since 1952.

She started strong on Thursday with her signature Yurchenko double pike vault, although she wrapped up a relatively disappointing performance on the uneven bars that put her out of first place through two rotations.

Biles bounced back with an impressive 14.566 score on the balance beam before she cemented the win by thriving during her floor routine.

After her latest victory as well as her gold medal in Tuesday's team final, she now has nine total Olympic medals and is the most decorated U.S. gymnast of all time at the Games. Biles will have a chance to add to her collection during upcoming finals for floor, vault, and balance beam.

Simone Biles celebrated becoming the first Olympic gymnast in United States history to win six gold medals with some fitting jewelry for the Greatest of All Time.

The nine-time Olympic medalist showed off a GOAT necklace Thursday after claiming gold in the individual women's all-around in Paris.

Biles won Thursday's all-around after totaling 59.131 points, 1.199 more than silver medalist and Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrane. She also won gold in the same event at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

The victory came days after Biles helped lead the Americans to another gold medal in the team competition despite competing with tape on her calf after suffering an injury in qualifiers.

Biles, 27, is the oldest gymnast to win the all-around since 1952. She is also the first Olympic gymnast to win multiple titles since 1968, and the first ever to claim gold in the event at non-consecutive competitions.

With nine total medals, including gold in the team, all-around, vault, and floor competitions at the 2016 Rio Games as well as silver and bronze medals from Tokyo 2020, Biles is the most decorated men's or women's gymnast ever to represent the United States in Olympic competition.

Given that Biles has a record 23 gold medals in world competition and five gymnastics skills named after her, it makes sense that she decided to add a GOAT necklace to her stack of Olympic medals.

For the sixth Olympics in a row, USA Gymnastics has claimed gold in the women's individual all-around.

Simone Biles, who won gold at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, earned her second gold in the event, while reigning champion Suni Lee claimed bronze to earn praise from athletes and coaches across the United States.

Meanwhile Biles' husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, was in the crowd to see Biles win her ninth Olympic medal.

The individual all-around marked the second podium appearance of the week for both Biles and Lee, who helped lead Team USA to gold during Monday's team final.

Owens wasn't the only athlete in the crowd to see Team USA dominate the podium.

Steph Curry and other members of the USA Basketball men's team, including Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday and Tyrese Haliburton, were also present at Bercy Arena to watch the competition.

Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk was also in the crowd to see the Team USA stars add another medal to their collection.

Lee edged out Italian gymnast Alice D'Amato in order to claim the fifth Olympic medal of her career.

Meanwhile Biles has collected her sixth gold to set a new record for any men's or women's gymnast in U.S. Olympic history.

Both gymnasts overcame significant obstacles in order to return to the Olympic podium.

Biles' Thursday win marked her first individual medal since withdrawing from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, while Lee has been diagnosed with multiple kidney diseases she has said made it difficult to practice.

Team USA has now claimed six straight all-around golds in individual competition, dating back to Carly Patterson's win in 2004.

Nastia Liukin won in 2008, and Gabby Douglas claimed gold in 2012, before Biles won her first gold in 2016.

The Americans faced one of the toughest fields yet in 2024 with Brazil's Rebeca Andrade challenging for gold and D'Amato coming within two tenths of a point from knocking Lee from the podium.

Both finished with electric floor routines to secure their places on the podium and continue Team USA's all-around dominance.

Simone Biles claimed her second individual all-around Olympic gold medal Thursday at the 2024 Paris Games.

Biles outscored a stacked field including Brazilian vault star Rebeca Andrade and teammate Suni Lee thanks to a score of 15.066 on the floor exercise.

The medal is the sixth gold of Biles' Olympic career, including an individual all-around gold at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games.

Biles opened the all-around final by leading the field with a 15.766 on vault after landing her signature Yurchenko double pike.

The higher difficulty level allowed her to score above Andrade, who stuck her own landing to earn a 15.100.

Biles then scored 13.733 on the uneven bars, falling out of the top three after the second rotation following a deduction for bending her knees on the transition from upper to lower bar.

She climbed back to the top of the rankings with a strong beam routine that earned her a score of 14.566.

Biles then shone during the floor routine to secure the win.

Andrade earned silver, while Lee claimed bronze after a strong floor routine.

Biles is the first woman to win multiple individual all-around finals since Věra Čáslavská won a second title in 1968. She is also the first to achieve the feat eight years apart.

The win marks Biles' first individual gold since the 2016 Rio Games, and the comeback further establishes her position as the most decorated American gymnast of all time. Her nine total medals beat out Shannon Miller's seven for the most in U.S. Olympic gymnastics history.
