The College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, is set after the final game of the Super Regionals concluded on Monday.

NC State beat Georgia 8-5 in the Athens Super Regional to become the eighth and final team to secure a trip to Omaha.

After Monday's action, here's a look at the First Round matchups for the World Series, which begins on Friday.

Bracket 1

North Carolina vs. Virginia, Friday at 1 p.m. ET

Tennessee vs. Florida State, Friday at 6 p.m. ET

Bracket 2

Kentucky vs. NC State, Saturday at 1 p.m. ET

Texas A&M vs. Florida, Saturday at 6 p.m. ET

Here's a look at how the final game of Super Regionals played out.

NC State 8, Georgia 5

NC State is heading to its fourth College World Series appearance ever and its first since 2021 after handling Georgia in the Athens Super Regional.

Georgia went down in order in the first inning but got on the board first in the second inning thanks to a two-run homer from Tre Phelps.

But Georgia's two-run cushion lasted less than an inning as the Wolfpack tied things up in the third behind a two-run shot from Garrett Pennington.

NC State then took the lead in the fourth inning after a passed ball allowed a run and Alec Makarewicz drove in a run with an RBI single. Things were stagnant in the fifth inning, but the Wolfpack added some insurance with a solo homer from Eli Serrano to make it 5-2.

Georgia cut into the lead with a sac fly in the bottom of the sixth, but NC State quickly answered back with another home run, this time from Alex Sosa.

Georgia had a chance to tie things up in the seventh inning with a pair of runners on, but Serrano made an impressive catch at the wall to prevent a huge play for the Bulldogs.

Georgia managed to get a run across in the seventh, but NC State made a comeback more difficult in the eighth behind a two-run home run off the bat of Makarewicz.

In the bottom of the ninth, Georgia showed some signs of a rally after Charlie Condon hit a solo home run, but the Bulldogs didn't have enough to erase the three-run deficit.

The storyline for the Wolfpack as they head to Omaha is head coach Elliot Avent, who is in his 28th season and could be nearing his retirement. If it is the final year for Avent, winning the College World Series to end his career would be the perfect way to cap off a historic tenure.

Sunday Recaps

No. 7 Georgia def. No. 10 NC State, 11-2

Georgia responded in a big way to being blown out by NC State in Game 1 of the Athens Regionals.

After allowing 11 runs in a single inning Saturday, Georgia responded with 10 straight runs on Sunday to force a winner-takes-all Game 3.

Slate Alford, Tre Phelps and Paul Toetz helped run up the score by hitting home runs in the first six innings.

Corey Collins added a homer of his own in the eighth inning, joining Charlie Condon as the second Bulldog to record 20 home runs in the season.

NC State sent their first runner home in the bottom of the seventh on a fielder's choice, but the Wolfpack's late push was not enough to overcome the double-digit deficit.

Leighton Finley earned the win in 6.2 innings on the mound, having allowed just one run while striking out five and walking two which pitching the most innings of his college career.

"We got down, and the way Finley was pitching, it made it tough for us," NC State head coach Elliott Avent said after the loss. "I thought we played okay, but it comes down to game three which is where two great teams probably should come down to."

A ticket to Omaha is on the line when Game 3 kicks off Monday at a start time yet to be determined.

Florida def. No. 6 Clemson, 11-10 (13)

The 2023 runners-up are headed back to Omaha.

A walk-off hit from Michael Robertson in the bottom of the 13th inning punched Florida's ticket to the College World Series.

Florida looked to have already sealed the victory in eight innings, as the Gators headed into the ninth frame with a three-run lead.

Clemson's Cam Cannarella erased that advantage and sent the game to extra innings by hitting a three-run homer in the ninth.

The Gators had another chance to end the game with a deep hit to center in the bottom of the 10th, but Cannarella stepped up once more to snag that at the wall:

Alden Mathes, who was 0-for-6 on the game heading into his 13th-inning at-bat, sent a home run over the right field fence to give the Tigers the late lead.

Had the score held, Clemson would have forced a winner-takes-all Game 3. But Robertson's double with the bases loaded was enough to earn Florida the walk-off ticket to Omaha.

Florida will wait for the results of the Bryan-College Station Super Regional to find out their next opponent. The team is slated to take on either Oregon or No. 3 Texas A&M in the College World Series.

No. 1 Tennessee def. Evansville, 9-1

Tennessee avoided a historic upset with a dominant win over Evansville that sent the Vols to the College World Series for the third time in four seasons.

That decision didn't always look settled when Game 3 began Sunday. Evansville followed up their Game 2 upset of Tennessee by scoring in the top of the first.

Tennessee's Christian Moore responded with a home run in the bottom of the frame, sparking eight straight innings of offensive dominance for the Vols.

Back-to-back homers from Dean Curley and Dalton Bargo helped Tennessee put together a four-run second inning.

Home runs from Billy Amick and Cal Stark, as well as second over-the-fence-hits from Moore and Bargo, led the Vols to victory.

The six home runs tied a program record for the most homers in a single playoff game. The Volunteers now have eight players with double-digit home run totals on the season.

Having redeemed themselves from becoming the first No. 1 national seed to lose to a No. 4 regional seed in NCAA Tournament history, Tennessee will now head to Omaha to take on Florida State.

No. 3 Texas A&M def. Oregon, 15-9

Texas A&M trailed Oregon early, but a nine-run seventh inning capped off by a grand slam by Kaeden Kent led the Aggies to a College World Series-clinching Game 2 win.

Oregon fell behind early thanks to an RBI single from Texas A&M's Hayden Schott.

The Ducks responded with three home runs from Chase Meggers, Drew Smith and Anson Aroz in the bottom of the first to climb out to an early lead.

Oregon held on to that lead through the sixth inning, but lost control of the game during the three-pitcher seventh inning that saw Texas A&M score nine runs.

The Aggies added two more runs in the eighth:

Oregon got a run back in the bottom of the eighth, but it was not able to pull off a late comeback.

Texas A&M is now headed to the College World Series for the second time in three seasons. The Aggies are now slated to face the Florida Gatoris in Omaha.

No. 2 Kentucky def. Oregon State, 3-2

Kentucky is headed to the College World Series.

Nolan McCarthy drove in two runs and five Kentucky pitchers threw nine innings of two-hit ball to earn a 3-2 win over Oregon State.

McCarthy hit a pair of doubles and was responsible for half of the Wildcats' four hits. He was also responsible for their third run, scoring from second base on a wild pitch in the top of the sixth inning.

Cameron O'Brien got the win after throwing three innings of one-hit ball. He struck out five Oregon State batters.

(Photo by John Byrum/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images)

Clemson baseball's Cam Cannarella now has a strong case for the catch of the year.

In the final game of the Clemson Super Regional Sunday, Florida had a runner in scoring position with two outs in a 9-9 game in the bottom of the 10th inning. After the Gators hit a ball deep to centerfield, it seemed the Tigers' season could be coming to an end.

That was until Cannarella got on his horse to track down the ball and make a leaping catch against the wall.

The improbable catch ended the inning and kept Clemson's season alive, making it one of the most memorable plays of the season.

What makes the catch even more impressive is that Cannarella had a season-saving play just moments earlier. In the top of the 10th as Clemson trailed 9-6, Cannarella played the hero with a three-run home run to tie things up and ultimately force extra innings.

If the Tigers manage to pull out the win in extra innings, there will be very little doubt about who the Player of the Game will be. For now, Clemson will look to Cannarella to perhaps notch another unbelievable play.

Saturday Recaps

Evansville def. No. 1 Tennessee, 10-8

Evansville overcame an early 4-0 deficit by scoring 10 runs from the fourth through sixth innings to defeat the top-seeded Vols.

Right fielder Kip Fougerousse, second baseman Cal McGinnis and catcher Brendan Hord each hit homers for the Purple Aces.

McGinnis' two-run homer cut the Tennessee deficit to 4-3 in the fourth. Hord and Fougerousse both hit two-run bombs in the sixth to turn a 6-5 lead into a 10-5 edge.

Evansville took that lead into the ninth, but Tennessee got its first five runners on base via three walks and two singles, scoring two in the process. A sacrifice fly registered Tennessee's eighth run.

Another walk loaded the bases with just one out, but a strikeout and a flyout ended the threat.

No. 8 Florida State def. UConn, 10-8 (12 innings)

James Tibbs III hit three home runs en route to a five-hit, six-RBI day to lead Florida State to the College World Series after a thrilling 10-8 win over UConn in 12 innings.

Max Williams, Marco Dinges and Jaxson West also hit homers for FSU. West's solo homer tied the game at seven in the top of the eighth before a ninth-inning sacrifice fly gave the Seminoles an 8-7 edge.

However, Matt Malcom hit a pinch-hit homer in the bottom of the ninth to send this one to extras.

The two teams went scoreless in the 10th and 11th before FSU broke through in the 12th off Tibbs' two-run blast. UConn got the tying run at the plate with two outs in the bottom half, but a strikeout ended the threat.

Third baseman Luke Broadhurst shined for the Huskies with four hits (including a homer) and six RBI.

No. 10 North Carolina State def. No. 7 Georgia, 18-1

North Carolina State dropped 11 runs in the second inning and cruised from there en route to an 18-1 victory.

Catcher Jacob Cozart hit two of NC State's five home runs. Alec Makarewicz added another homer among his four hits, and he now has 21 dingers and 77 RBI on the season. No. 9 hitter Noah Soles added five RBI.

Wolfpack starting pitcher Sam Highfill got the win, tossing six innings of one-run ball.

Florida def. No. 6 Clemson, 10-7

Florida superstar first baseman Jac Caglianone's 32nd home run of the year kickstarted a seven-run fifth inning en route to a 10-7 win.

Caglianone hit a three-run blast to turn a 4-2 Clemson lead into a 5-4 Florida edge. The Gators then scratched out four more runs despite only getting two more hits in the inning, both of which were singles. Two walks, a fielder's choice and an RBI groundout helped matters.

On the mound, Brandon Neely starred for Florida, pitching the final four innings and striking out seven while allowing just one hit and one walk.

Luke Heyman and Tyler Shelnut also hit home runs for Florida. Jimmy Obertop and Tristan Bissetta each hit homers for Clemson.

No. 3 Texas A&M def. Oregon, 10-6

Oregon jumped out to a 6-3 lead after an inning-and-a-half, but Texas A&M responded with seven unanswered runs (including three each in the fourth and fifth innings) for the 10-6 victory.

Aggies relief pitcher Chris Cortez was the game's star with 5.2 scoreless innings, striking out 10 along the way. Evan Aschenbeck followed with 1.2 scoreless frames, striking out three.

Catcher Jackson Appel led the Aggies at the dish with three hits (including two doubles), two runs and two RBI. Designated hitter Hayden Schott added three hits and three RBI, while third baseman Gavin Grahovac scored three times.

Oregon left fielder Anson Aroz hit the game's lone home run, a two-run blast in the first to give the Ducks an early 2-0 edge.

No. 12 Virginia def. Kansas State, 10-4

A five-run ninth inning boosted Virginia to a 10-4 victory against Kansas State.

Jacob Ference's two-run triple and Luke Hanson's pinch-hit, bases-clearing and bases-loaded double accounted for all five runs, turning a tense 5-4 game into a late rout.

Casey Saucke hit a homer for UVA to put the Cavaliers up 1-0 in the first. For the Wildcats, Brendan Jones and Kyan Lodice each hit home runs. Lodice's shot cut the UVA lead to 5-4 in the eighth.

No. 2 Kentucky def. Oregon State, 10-0

Kentucky trounced Oregon State behind a seven-run seventh inning and a combined one-hitter.

Starting pitcher Trey Booser tossed seven innings, allowing one hit and four walks while striking out eight. Jackson Nove relieved him with two perfect frames while punching out four.

First baseman Ryan Nicholson led the Wildcats at the dish, going 3-for-5 with a two-run homer in the aforementioned seventh inning.

Oregon State went hitless over the final seven innings, with the lone knock courtesy of a second-inning single from Elijah Hainline.

North Carolina def. West Virginia, 2-1

Saturday's action ended with an instant classic as UNC held off West Virginia 2-1.

UNC shortstop Vance Honeycutt hit a leadoff home run and later scored the Tar Heels' other run in the third after a Parks Harber RBI single.

West Virginia got one back in the seventh after Kyle West's RBI single scored Reed Chumley.

UNC maintained a 2-1 lead going into the bottom of the ninth, but West Virginia wasn't done, putting runners on first and second with one out.

Reliever Dalton Pence struck out Ellis Garcia but then walked West to load the bases.

Ben Lumsden then hit a grounder to first, but Pence just beat him to the bag to get the out and win the game. He earned the save after striking out six over 2.2 scoreless innings.

Jason DeCaro got the win after striking out five and allowing just two hits and one earned run over 6.1 frames.

The regionals have come and gone and 16 baseball programs are still in the hunt for a national championship.

Friday was the start of the super regional round, with the regional winner's pairing up for a best two-of-three series to secure a place in Omaha for the 2024 College World Series. Half of the super regionals began on Friday, with the other half starting on Saturday.

Many national seeds had successfully defended their individual regional, but also plenty of underdogs were hoping to continue the run into Omaha. While nobody was eliminated in Friday's action, eight teams took the upper hands while the other eight need to win two in a row to advance.

Here's a look at the day's action.

Check here for the current state of the bracket.

Tennessee 11, Evansville 6

The No. 1 seeded Volunteers had a slugfest to start the super regionals.

When push came to shove, however, Tennessee was up to the test.

The Volunteers opponent was perhaps the best story of the super regional, as Evansville was the No. 4 seed in the Greenville regional and took down the higher-ranked teams in order to continue the season.

It looked like the Purple Aces could have fallen victim to the moment, as Tennessee went up 1-0 in the first inning. However, Evansville quickly bounced back and took a 2-1 lead. The Volunteers would respond fittingly.

Home runs from Christian Moore and Billy Amick helped push the Volunteers back ahead at 5-2. Evansville would tie it at 5-5, but that's where Tennessee really took over.

A Hunter Ensley three-run bomb highlighted the six-run output that eventually carried the Vols to victory.

Evansville will now need to take two in a row to advance while the Volunteers are just one victory away from advancing to Omaha.

Florida State 24, UConn 4

It's safe to say this game was never in doubt.

Florida State scored three runs in the first and never looked back, tacking on 18 hits and 24 runs to take Game 1 24-4 over UConn.

It was the biggest margin of victory and the most runs scored in the history of the Super Regional round.

Florida State scored in six of eight offensive innings, and had 15 runs combined in the sixth and seventh innings.

Cam Smith, Jamie Ferrer and Alex Lodise had three hits each, while James Tibbs III and Marco Dinges had four RBIs each.

It would be an understatement to say the bats were explosive.

The Seminoles look like a real threat to win in Omaha, but first it needs to take care of business against a Huskies team that impressed in the regional round and is still not a push over.

North Carolina 8, West Virginia 6

Walk offs aren't exclusive to the regional round.

North Carolina trailed for much of its game against West Virginia but the hosts managed three runs in the ninth to walk-off with a Game 1 win.

The hero of the day was Vance Honeycutt, who delivered the two-run walk-off bomb.

The win came despite a 144-pitch effort from West Virginia pitcher Derek Clark, who will end up taking a pretty undeserved loss.

West Virginia will now hope to bounce back while UNC will have a little less pressure going forward.

Virginia 7, Kansas State 4

It was a good day for the ACC.

After Florida State and North Carolina got it done earlier in the day, Virginia followed suit with a 7-4 comeback victory over Kansas State.

Kansas State quickly jumped out to a 3-1 lead, but Virginia would storm back with four runs of its own.

Kansas State would tie it in the seventh but Henry Godbout had no intention of letting that continue.

Virginia is now one game away from reaching Omaha for the third time in four seasons.

Seven of the top eight teams in college baseball will host a super regional with a chance to advance to the College World Series on the line.

The top-seeded Tennessee Volunteers have the easiest path to Omaha on paper against the Evansville Purple Aces.

Evansville miraculously got into the NCAA baseball tournament with a title at the Missouri Valley Conference tournament and then upset the 16th-seeded East Carolina Pirates to reach the super regional round.

Six other super regional hosts take on unseeded teams during super regional weekend.

The Kansas State Wildcats had the most stunning regional win, outside of Evansville, as they won at the home of the No. 5 seed Arkansas Razorbacks.

Hosting the super regional round typically equates to a trip to Omaha. A year ago, six of the eight super regional hosts moved on to the CWS.

Super Regional Matchups

Evansville vs. No. 1 Tennessee

UConn vs. No. 8 Florida State

Kansas State vs. No. 12 Virginia

West Virginia vs. No. 4 North Carolina

No. 15 Oregon State vs. No. 2 Kentucky

No. 10 NC State vs. No. 7 Georgia

Florida vs. No. 6 Clemson

Oregon vs. No. 3 Texas A&M

All games will be live-streamed on ESPN+.

The most stunning super regional matchup involves the No. 1 overall seed.

Tennessee did not expect to see Evansville anywhere close to Knoxville in the NCAA tournament, but the Purple Aces' string of upsets in Greenville made the David-versus-Goliath matchup happen.

The Vols are expected to roll because of their superior talent level, but Evansville will be playing with nothing to lose, and that could be a dangerous mindset to go up against.

A few other unseeded teams could be more dangerous over the weekend, starting with the pair of Big 12 teams headed to ACC country.

The Kansas State Wildcats have one of the most underrated players left in the tournament in shortstop Kaelen Culpepper. He hit for the cycle as part of his regional MVP run in Fayetteville.

The West Virginia Mountaineers have a top-10 draft pick in J.J, Weatherholt in the middle of their lineup. They are also trying to get to the CWS in head coach Randy Mazey's final season.

However, the Virginia Cavaliers and North Carolina Tar Heels will be tough foes for both Big 12 squads.

North Carolina came away from regional weekend as the most battle-tested national seed. The Tar Heels endured three battles with the reigning national champion LSU Tigers.

There is a chance UNC, Virginia and Tennessee lead a SEC-versus-ACC trip to Omaha. All eight of the super regional hosts come from the two best conferences in college baseball.

Predictions

Tennessee over Evansville

Florida State over UConn

Virginia over Kansas State

North Carolina over West Virginia

Kentucky over Oregon State

NC State over Georgia

Florida over Clemson

Texas A&M over Oregon

Evansville 6, East Carolina 5

Evansville advanced to the Super Regionals for the first time in program history behind a middle-inning push.

East Carolina led 5-2 heading into the bottom of the fifth, but the Purple Aces came storming back to save their season, starting with an RBI groundout in the fifth inning to make it 5-3. In the sixth inning, Evansville took the lead after a three-run home run from Mark Shallenberger.

Shallenberger's homer gave the Purple Aces all they needed as they hung on to win 6-5.

With the win, Evansville became the only No. 4 seed to make it past the Regional this year and just the ninth No. 4 seed ever to advance to the Super Regionals. The Purple Aces will now face top-seeded Tennessee in the Super Regionals.

Oregon State 11, UC Irvine 6

The matchup between Oregon State and UC Irvine was a continuation of Sunday night's Regional Final, which was postponed due to rain. The Beavers led 6-4 in the bottom of the fourth when the game was postponed.

After the continuation began Monday, Oregon State's offense came alive. UC Irvine cut into the lead in the bottom of the fourth, but the Beavers had two come across after an RBI single and a walk with the bases loaded.

Oregon State tacked on another three runs across the sixth, seventh and eighth innings before Dallas Macias gave the Beavers a comfortable 11-6 lead on a home run in the top of the ninth.

Oregon State put the Anteaters down in order in the bottom the ninth to advance to the Super Regionals, where it will face Kentucky.

Florida 4, Oklahoma State 2

In a relatively low-scoring affair, Florida advanced to the Super Regionals for the 16th time in program history.

The Gators jumped out to a 2-0 lead after an RBI single from Ashton Wilson that drove in a pair of runners in the third inning. The two sides then traded runs in the fourth inning to make it a 3-1 Florida lead.

Oklahoma State made it a one-run game in the fifth, but the Gators took a 4-2 lead in the sixth on a solo homer from Tyler Shelnut.

Florida held onto that lead after sitting nine Oklahoma State batters down in a row to advance to the Super Regionals, where the Gators will face Clemson.

North Carolina 4, LSU 3

There was no shortage of drama as North Carolina downed the defending champs in extra innings on Monday.

The two teams traded a pair of runs each through the first two innings before LSU took a 3-2 lead in the third, holding on to that lead all the way to the top of the ninth.

With the season on the line, North Carolina's Colby Wilkerson drilled a single to drive in Gavin Gallaher and tie the game.

The Tar Heels couldn't push the winning run across, but shut LSU down in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings.

In the top of the 10th inning, North Carolina got a runner in scoring position thanks to an error from LSU, and Alex Madera hit a go-ahead RBI single up the middle to make it a 4-3 game.

In the bottom of the 10th, LSU got a pair of runners on base with two outs, but couldn't get anyone home as its season came to an end. North Carolina will now face West Virginia in the Super Regionals.

UConn 7, Oklahoma 1

UConn dominated on the mound to earn their third Super Regionals trip in program history with a Friday night win over Oklahoma.

Huskies starting pitcher Gabe Van Emon opened the contest with 7.1 shutout innings. He allowed just five hits and two walks over the stretch.

Meanwhile UConn climbed out to a six-run lead thanks to two-run homers from Korey Morton and Maddix Dalena. The homer marked Dalena's first hit of the tournament:

The Sooners scored on a double-play groundout late in the bottom of the ninth, but weren't able to overcome the Huskies' pitching in the 7-1 elimination loss.

UConn will now have a shot at a ticket to the College World Series if they can earn two victories over No. 8 Florida State in Tallahassee.

The magical postseason run by the Birmingham-Southern baseball team was destined to end in heartbreak, but it was even more gut-wrenching than expected.

The Panthers suffered an 11-10 loss to Wisconsin-Whitewater on Sunday in an elimination game in the Division III College World Series. The loss comes after the university shut down this past Friday due to financial troubles.

"I don't feel sadness right now and I mean it," head coach Jay Weisberg, who took over Birmingham-Southern's program in 2007 said, via the Associated Press. "The ride that these guys have given me this year has been absolutely incredible. Coaching is what I love, and these guys have made it so fun."

The Panthers held a 10-5 lead through six innings, but their bats went cold as things fell apart. Wisconsin-Whitewater scored two runs in the seventh, three in the eighth and got a leadoff walk-off homer from Sam Paden in the ninth.

Birmingham-Southern announced it was closing in March. In the wake of the announcement, Weisberg encouraged his players to play freely, and they did just that. Weisberg delivered an emotional response when asked what he hoped the final message of Birmingham-Southern would be.

"What a beautiful place it is ... was," he said during an emotional moment. After composing himself, he continued:

"I know a lot of people have pride in their schools, and they should," he said. "We aren't different than many. But it's such a beautiful place, physically. We have the best sunsets in the world. The message about Birmingham-Southern is that it changed lives. It was a place where people came as young men and women and left as mature men and women. What this nation has seen over these last three weeks and the joy that we brought is exactly what this program is -- it's toughness, it's championship baseball, great young men. I love it that the final chapter for Birmingham-Southern could have gone off into the sunset and not many people besides graduates or the Birmingham community would know about it. But now the nation knows there were some pretty special things that happened here."

After the loss, the Birmingham-Southern players stood along the third base line and tipped their caps to fans in attendance. They then walked off the field in small groups, hand in hand.

Southeast Mo. St. 6, No. 5 Arkansas 3

The top seed in the Fayetteville Regional won't be advancing to the Super Regional after losing on Sunday. The feeling is completely different for SEMO, which is heading to a Regional Final for the first time in school history.

The Redhawks struck early in the first inning after Ty Stauss homered to left field, and they managed to tack on three more runs in the fourth inning.

Arkansas finally got on the board in the fifth inning thanks to a home run from Peyton Holt to make it 4-1, but SEMO answered in the bottom of the fifth with a homer from Brooks Kettering. The Redhawks tacked on another run in the seventh to make it 6-1.

The score stood until the ninth inning when the Razorbacks added a pair of runs on a two-run homer from Parker Rowland. That home run wasn't enough for Arkansas to rally and now its season is over.

No. 1 Tennessee 12, Southern Miss 3

The top overall seed in the tournament is moving on to Super Regionals for a fourth consecutive season.

The Vols handled Southern Miss after coasting past Northern Kentucky and Indiana on Friday and Saturday.

Tennessee opened up scoring in the second inning after Hunter Ensley hit an RBI single, but the Golden Eagles in the third after an error. Southern Miss managed to take a brief lead in the fifth inning after a pair of runs, but from there it was all Tennessee.

The Vols got their first homer of the game on a three-run shot from Kavares Tears drilled a three-run shot to right field to give Tennessee a three-run lead.

The Vols had two more homers in the seventh inning off the bats of Dylan Dreiling and Dean Curley.

For some extra insurance late in the game, Cal Stark gave the Vols a 12-3 lead on a three-run home run. Though stark bats in the No. 9 spot, he has been crucial for Tennessee's offense and had a pair of homers on Sunday.

The Vols made it to Omaha a year ago, and seem poised to make it there again after a dominant showing in the Knoxville Regional. Tennessee will face either East Carolina or Evansville in Super Regionals.

LSU 8, No. 4 North Carolina 4

The defending national champions lived to see another day after defeating the top seed in the Chapel Hill Regional.

The Tigers took a 2-0 lead early after Josh Pearson hit a two-run homer to right center. LSU picked up some additional insurance later in the third on an RBI single from Michael Braswell III.

North Carolina got on the board in the top of the fourth on an RBI single, but the Tigers quickly extended their lead in the bottom of the fourth. LSU posted a four-run fourth inning to make it 7-1. Hayden Travinski then hit a solo homer in the fifth to make it 8-1.

North Carolina continued to cut into the lead through the late innings and even loaded the bases in the top of the ninth, but LSU held off the late push to force another game on Monday. The winner of Monday's matchup between the Tigers and Tar Heels will advance to Super Regionals.

No. 7 Georgia 8, Georgia Tech 6

It took 10 innings, but Georgia is moving on to Super Regionals for the first time since 2008.

After striking early on an RBI single and a fielder's choice in the first inning, the Bulldogs quickly found themselves facing a three-run deficit. Georgia Tech scored a run in the bottom of the first before picking up a three-run homer and an RBI single to make it 5-2 in the second.

Georgia had runs come across in the fifth, sixth and eighth innings, but still trailed by one in the ninth. Kolby Branch played the hero for the Bulldogs as he scored the game-tying run on a solo homer in the ninth and forced extra innings.

Branch's home run seemingly woke up Georgia's offense, and the 10th inning saw the Bulldogs score three runs to make it an 8-5 game.

The Yellow Jackets got one run across in the bottom of the 10th, but Georgia left the game-tying runner stranded at first to win it. The Bulldogs will now face NC State in Super Regionals.
